Third visit- we ended up coming at a busy time and had our name put on a list. Staff forgot to call us when our turn. Thankfully when we did get seated food came out promptly after being ordered!

The food was amazing and made to order!! The service was so amazing, I told them that I loved the soup and they gave me an extra bowl since I was raving about it. I also thought the price was very reasonable.

“Unassuming little restaurant tucked into a side street in Cook Street Village. Food was fresh and tasty, service was friendly. Prices were very reasonable, especially their bento lunch special. They close after lunch at 2 pm and reopen again for dinner at 4:30 pm. We will definitely go back.“

“I was visiting an event at the Save On Center and spotted this little sushi place and headed in for a Poke Bowl. The Salmon and Tuna was perfect. Beautiful combination of mix. Rice was perfect. Really appreciated the mango and seaweed. The truly amazing ingredient was the marinated mushrooms. Out of this world! Well done Momo Sushi.“

The prices have gone up, but the food is still amazing today I ordered the teriyaki lunch combo. came with teriyaki chicken, rice and ice garden salad, four rolls of dynamite sushi Four pieces of tempura and it was excellent. Everything was fresh prepared. Nicely restaurant is clean. The service was fantastic. I really like this place and highly recommend it. I think it’s the best place in Victoria for sushi and other Japanese/Korean dishes. Wife had the tofu combo lunch and it was paired with the same items mine came with $15 great price was filling and so delicious ? A+ ☺️“

“This is a nice little sushi place near the hospital. The server was friendly and quick to refill my water without me asking which was appreciated on a hot sunny day. The bento box was pretty good value and tasty. The dynamite roll was of a very good quality; it didn't have that fake cab filler but had avacado, cucumber, and two prawns. I'd come here again and try some of the raw menu.“

“Best sushi I've had in Victoria! We ordered a variety of dishes including BBQ squid, bao, tempura bowl, karaage chicken, edamame, and an assortment of sushi. Everything was amazing. We were a party of 10+ so I didn't get a chance to take pictures, but 10/10 would recommend going here if you haven't already!“

“Great spot. Close to campus. Reasonably priced. The green salad came with black sesame sauce which was both delicious and unique. All the sushi rolls were good. We came for lunch and had the sashimi, nigiri, and beef teriyaki bento boxes. They were all fantastic. The side of tempura had a broccoli tempura - which is rare. The colour and crispness of the tempura was light and clean - indicating that the oil they used must have been a good quality and relatively “fresh”.

I will definitely be saying this with certainty: Ever single person at a restaurant has an even higher bar to stand next to now that I know hospitality isn’t actually dead. I have been in this industry for 12 years, I’m blown away. VERY impressed. You hosted 2 groups of strangers like we were your best friends. The steak was cooked perfectly!!!!! “The food was delicious and filling for the big bento box. The options for the big bento are great and I recommend the 8 piece avocado roll instead of the 4 piece California roll.

However, if you're looking for early morning breakfast, they recommended to come back in an hour after opening for two big bento boxes.

“My husband and I recently went to Parks Kitchen and had their fire pan. It was great! I loved the mix of chicken and beef, and the vegetables were awesome too. The whole thing had just the right amount of spice, and it was perfect for sharing with a friend. There was even some melted cheese, sweet corn, and a yummy creamy sauce on the corn that made everything taste even better.

“I've been eating here for years and have never been disappointed. Their chicken karaage is perfectly juicy inside with a crisp outside. There's something about their Atlantic salmon that puts them above most other sushi places IMO. So long as you order fresh, you will enjoy it. The ready-made stuff is fine if you're in a rush.

So what I am saying is that it is very good, better than very good but I'm afraid I can't offer the "excellent" rating because I have had better. The lemon slices although very fresh still contained the seeds. A professional would not allow that to happen. “Great place to just grab lunch and relax in a down-to-Earth sort of vibe. Straight-forward, tasty food. Sometimes I ask for half a scoop of teriyaki sauce since in can be taste too sweet and overpowering if I eat here often. Not as budget-friendly as McDonald's, but great value nonetheless if you prefer regularly having Japanese food over McD. Wish there more more cheap, practical places like this to get ethnic foods in general.“
