“We visited again from Sask and did not disappoint! Amazing! Well worth the wait in line! I had the tuna on salad! And my husband had the halibut fish and chips with a side of the chowder. The chowder was his favourite. Still taking about it. The staff were also fantastic. Friendly and very efficient! For the amount of people served and the small space we were amazed at how spotless the kitchen was. Highly recommend a visit here!!”

“Everything was so good. Their fresh wasabi is a must try! Our total came to $250 for 2 adults and one child. Their pictured menu does not do justice for the actual food display! The food was a bit pricier than other sushi restaurants we been to, but the quality, display and taste is top notch!”

Restaurant is large - it has great ambience, the layout provides a personal and intimate feeling despite there being many tables. The food is superb, we plan on returning to make our way through the great menu. It is the best place we have eaten at in Canada for food, service and ambience. We highly recommend the seafood tower as a way to taste through some of the menu. The grilled octopus rivalled what we have eaten in Italy. The pork belly was cooked to perfection. The wine list is extensive and expertly curated.”

I'm not a big wine connoisseur so I may have not enjoyed it to the fullest, the selection of apertifs was a nice alternative though. Will go back at some point, it was very nice but not quite in the upper echelon of Victoria dining.”

“Lovely little vegan cafe, within walking distance from downtown Victoria and the harbourfront. They have a variety of pastries and desserts, as well as an extensive breakfast and lunch menu. I enjoyed their honey mustard chicken burger - the "chicken" patty (which I believe was seitan-based) was hearty and filling and lathered in honey mustard sauce, and the side Caesar salad was a perfect pairing (for no surcharge). Their matcha latte was quite good too. There's a small outdoor patio facing a quiet street.”
