“Fish & chips are never so fresh as the way they serve them here. Cannot get enough of it. And I love the crunchy coleslaw! The staff are very accomodating of my wheelchair and move furniture around so I can fit in without any problems. The very friendly staff are always happy and chatty even when its a takeout order, which comes out so hot that by the time I get up the hill and home its still hot and yummy. I enjoy seeing and hearing the families eating and laughing and joking with the staff. If you expect peace and quiet with your meal you better stay home because there is no avoiding the laughter of the customers and staff in our beautiful seaside town. Always a winner with the Brits who love their fish & chips!“
“What a perfect steak house a hidden gem,. I’ve been here several all the servers, cooks manager owner I’m not sure are awesome. This is one of my two favourite restaurants between port Alberni and parksville the little Bavaria in port Alberni and Kalvis a hard decide for me. Two different foods but the same service and quality. Don’t hesitate try this place try the crab cakes try everything lol and also check out little Bavaria in port Alberni“
“Came for an early afternoon dinner yesterday with my mom and roomie and it was such a pleasant experience all around. The price of the food was great and Comparable to pub prices. We had the baked Brie as an appetizer and holy smokes it was delish. My mom had the bruschetta and my roommate and I both had the beef dip. The food was fast and perfectly cooked and plated. The ambiance was lovely. We sat outside under the gazebo type covering and it was raining but warm and there was a massive rainbow and a big beautiful cherry blossom ? art installation. The hostess and server were so friendly and knowledgeable. 10/10 highly recommend and will be back for sure!“
“I had the most incredible lunch on the patio of this gorgeous restaurant. The staff was amazing and the prawn appie was the best appie I’ve ever had. The view was gorgeous, the vibe was incredible. “First time there tonight July 1-2023to celebrate birthdays. Alley the owner was so gracious and had the best personality!! The food was absolutely delicious! We started with crab cakes they were so good! Then I had the seafood pasta the amount of scallops prawns was awesome they definitely weren't skimpy on the seafood and the presentation was great! Then the dessert we had a free birthday dessert which was the sticky date pudding with vanilla ice cream! The service was good, friendly, fast and the establishment was clean! Highly recommend this place ❤️“
