“The food was amazing! We had the bisque and the cod fishsticks. The cod tasted fresh and they were so nice as to split up our shared plate in two separate plates. The service was great! The atmosphere is nothing special, but with the amazing quality of the food? It doesn't need atmosphere. Just go and eat an amazing meal.“

“First time there tonight July 1-2023to celebrate birthdays. Alley the owner was so gracious and had the best personality!! The food was absolutely delicious! We started with crab cakes they were so good! Then I had the seafood pasta the amount of scallops prawns was awesome they definitely weren't skimpy on the seafood and the presentation was great! Then the dessert we had a free birthday dessert which was the sticky date pudding with vanilla ice cream! The service was good, friendly, fast and the establishment was clean! Highly recommend this place ❤️“

“We came here for the Monday night prime rib. The waitress suggested the special of scallops with a corn beet puree which we both had. It consisted of 4 medium sized scallops in the puree with some small sliced mushrooms in the middle topped with some thinly sliced fried onions for texture. There was also a fruit coulis to add contrast. A delicious starter.
The prime rib was orderd med rare but was definitely more medium. Hard to do when the meat is so thin. The yorkshire pudding was perfect, fluffy inside, crisp on the outside not dried up like so many restaurants do. The vegetables were nothing special.
We shared a chocolate mouse for dessert as we were full.
Overall excellent restaurant at the higher end price wise, but worth it.“

Nancy at front desk is just a gem, got early check in both times as requested, rooms are clean and spacious and nothing beats the balcony and restaurant views! Coffee shop makes amazing drinks and treats and if your lucky in the morning the sweetest dog Casey is in there with his awesome older couple owners and they are so kind to chat with, pool was a great temp but wow it’s cold when your heading back to the dressing rooms in the open air, short safe walkway down to the beach and just a 2 minute drive to almost anything else you might want or need outside of the hotel, my fav hotel on Vancouver island hands down“
