“Ordered a sample meal of chow mein and sweet and sour chicken balls, (plus extra container of sweet sour sauce) to be picked up. Order taker was 100% accurate on the time it would be ready for p/u. 1/2 hour. 20 minute drive home and the chic ball coating was still lovely and crispy! Generous with the chicken. The chow mein was perfect with lots of fresh texture so obviously freshly made. Frankly, although simple it was delish and lots for two big appetites. Staff fast and friendly. Will do it again as soon as possible. Their outdoor seating is bright and roomy right over the water so might eat in next time.“
“Food was really great. I had the Ahi Tuna and it was delicious, loved the little salad on the side... it paired well. I also got the beef dip and that was top notch, too. I loved conversation with the regulars and felt very welcomed at the Shady Rest. Also, the view of the ocean where we spread Dad's ashes was super comforting as well. 5 stars all around Shady Guys!“
