“UPDATE : OCTOBER 17 /25 I thought I’d give an updated review of this place that I’ve been coming for years. The staff and the owner are always spot on fantastic. The food is always incredible one of the best Indian cuisines and all of the lower mainland.

If you have not tried this place do yourself a favour and visit you will not be disappointed! There is a reason why I drive all the way from Brentwood Burnaby area over and over again lol

ORIGINAL REVIEW :This place is one of the best Indian foods in lower mainland by far. I’ve ordered here from years, but it’s the first time I wrote a review so please do yourself a favour and try it. Awesome service by Priyanka and owner CM..they are amazing!!! Btw I drive all the way from Brentwood mall area just to do takeout...that should tell you a lot :)“

“We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. Our server, Prabhjot, was extremely kind, attentive, and professional throughout our visit. From the moment we were seated, she made sure we felt welcomed and comfortable. She checked in on us at the right times without being intrusive and ensured that everything we ordered was perfect. “Yesterday night we visited Vadapav Mirchi By Geeta in a group of 8 people, and even though it was one of their busiest times, the overall experience was excellent. The restaurant was full, and we were seated at a large table, yet everything was handled very smoothly.
We ordered a variety of items:- Vada Pav, Sabudana Vada, Shrikhand Puri Bhaji, and Basundi Puri and every dish was absolutely delicious. The food was fresh, authentic, and full of flavor, reminding us of true homestyle taste. Each item stood out on its own, and together they made for a satisfying and memorable meal.
A special mention goes to our server, Parul, who made the experience even better. Despite the heavy rush, she managed our big table with great efficiency and a constant smile on her face. Her polite, attentive, and friendly nature made us feel welcome, and she ensured that every detail of our order was taken care of. It’s rare to see someone handle such a busy restaurant with so much professionalism and warmth.
Overall, the combination of tasty food and excellent service made our visit outstanding. A big thank you to Vadapav Mirchi By Geeta and especially Parul for making my birthday celebration so special. Truly appreciated! 🎉“

“Ordered take-out for 4 and it was another lovely meal (chef's kiss). The prawn biryani had a generous amount of large prawns and came with a refreshing (and equally generous) serving of raita. The alu gobi was lovely. The paneer in the mutter paneer was tender (nothing worse than rubbery paneer, trust me!). Both vegetable dishes came with naan. Although we ordered everything on the mild side, the heat was still a little intense for a couple of us. I have nothing but good things to say about this little neighbourhood gem. I hope they keep up the good work of serving good food.“

“I had a wonderful experience at Tomoto Indian Restaurant in Surrey. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared — you can really taste the authenticity in every bite. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with family or friends.

A special thanks to Raj, who was incredibly kind and attentive throughout our visit. Her friendly service made the dining experience even better. I truly appreciate her hospitality and professionalism.

The Naan tasted so soft yet chewy, and was really a good combination with the cottage cheese in the Paneer tikka masala. I got it in medium spicy this time and will go for less spicy next time. “Went there w my wife and some family. The food was amazing, our server very knowledgeable. My fav appie were the Scallops. The rice was smooth & tastey (never had tastey rice b4). I had the Chichen Tikka Masalla rich, succulent & spices all at once. We shared the lamb chops - OMG heaven. We has a few other appies - all amazing. my wife had the butter chicken (chefs specialty) - yes it is! Drinks were very satisfying. I had a Moscow Mule - ok I had 2. The garlic naan is: wrap yourself up you're in heaven. Water was room temp to reduce the heat if needed but they brought a carafe which wa appreciated. Again, our server was attentive & knowledgeable about the kitchen and made great recommendations. The kitchen was on WoW mode. The food was extremely well prepared. what was left we gleefully packed to go. Is it good value? The quality ingredients and care I the kitchen says YES. This well above your average Indian Kitchen. I know there are lots of Indian restaurants in Surrey but this one will take your taste-buds places. The food; feels, smells, looks & tastes authentically amazing. You'll leave feeling better about yourself!“

“We ate buffet at Khana Peena and the food was really good. Their mix veg pakoda are the best and we also like their main course. I specially love their Gulaab Jamuns, they melted in mouth. I highly recommend Khana Peena Restaurant in Surrey.“
