From reservation to dining in, Jasmine was extraordinarily efficient with communication and excellent with her service even decorating our table with a happy birthday sign and confetti! She was extremely attentive and made my party which included a toddler feel welcomed and comfortable. All servers should learn from her. She was so kind and caring to my toddler even when he was running around. The food by Henry was all beautifully presented and delicious with different elements of texture and flavour and perfection in terms of doneness of our meats. We look forward to more celebrations at this gem of a restaurant!“

“First time there. Many different pizzas in the menu, the one we ordered was excellent. Beer was cold as it should be, service was friendly and fast, which surprised us because the house was packed. Prices were very reasonable. This place really is a gem. Planning to come back many times to check the other pizzas.“

“Kokomo is a great plant-bases option tucked away in suter brook. The food is decent, not exceptional. I usually feel like the meal could’ve been better - for instance, the Korean bowl’s use of extra firm tofu isnt great.
Staff have always been kind.
Atmosphere is very cute. Very modern, nice windows. The stools do leave a bit to be desired, back-support wise.

“I can guarantee whoever gives this restaurant less than 5 stars either because they are not used to the typical “rude” but caring service by the aunties OR they just dont know what to order thats actually good.

First time here and I was impressed with the food taste. Ordered 4 item combo: shanghai style crispy chicken, fish & tofu hot/clay pot, greenbeans with beef and house special chowmein. Combo includes free rice, (lobak, carrots & beef) soup and dessert (mango pudding or red bean soup). It was too much for 4 of us and we had to pack some home.

“Apologies to my former fav sushi restaurant but, Hanayuki is officially my new favorite Sushi Restaurant in the lower mainland.
The food came out so quickly, the staff were super friendly and accommodating despite us arriving an hour before closing, and the atmosphere was warm with very cozy seating.
It is close to some popular local spots like Rocky Point, Belcara, Sasamat Lake, and Buntzen so we will be back again regularly which is an absolute treat.
The quality of the food and fish was unparalleled and the miso soup really hit the spot after a cold swim. My friend had the Tonkatsu which she said was the best she has had in a long time and the closest to what she makes at home.
I really recommend the Salmon Run Roll and the Tataki Attack Roll. The gyoza is very crispy and the Toro melts in your mouth.
I cannot wait to go again and bring more of our family too!“
