“Their staff treated every customer friendly. They were very attentive and proactive change the burned grill plate from our table frequently. The meats and vegetables for BBQ were fresh, the only one downside was the self service counter's deep fried foods were cold, and the orange was not replened with fresh ones when we were there. They offered us ice cream for the dessert. The overall dining experience was pleasant!“

“After seeing all the reviews I decided to give them a try. Their BBQ meats are topped notch and tasted great, but they are overpriced. There are other BBQ places in Richmond that is just as good and not as expensive.
If I was in the area shopping and have a craving, I will most likely go back, but it's not a restaurant that I would go out of my way to visit“

“My husband and I love eating out at Dolpan! I always get bulgogi hot plate and my husband gets stir fried bulgogi noodles. They both come in a skillet. So delicious🤤 They also come with soy potatoes, kimchi, and rice. We always leave stuffed and still able to bring a bit back home. Highly recommend!“

“I recently dined, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. The service was impeccable—server and the owner was attentive, friendly, and made excellent recommendations without being overbearing. The food was equally outstanding, with each dish beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it an ideal spot for both casual dinners and special occasions. Overall, this place exceeded all expectations, and I can’t wait to return!“

“This is a meat shop located on the market level of Richmond Public Market. The signage of the shop is listed as YM Food, which is the abbreviation of the shop's full name. The shop offers up fresh meats, Chinese sausages and Chinese barbecue. The latter of which has its own area separated from the butcher items. My family bought some roast pork which was delicious and reasonably priced at about $14 CAD per pound. Although this shop isn't as famous as other Chinese barbecue spots in Richmond like HK BBQ Master and Parker Place Meats, I think it is worth a try based on the quality and price.“

“Breakfast is as good as the dinner in terms of quality and food taste! Very impressed with the authenticity and varieties. A rare to see in restaurants most of which only focus on one age group. The choices here available are abundant for all age groups and different scenarios. Love it and will absolutely go back!“

“Good Nine in Richmond is hands-down one of the best Korean BBQ experiences we’ve had. From the moment we sat down, the banchan set the tone, each small dish was bursting with flavor, and the standout was their sour kimchi specially prepared for grilling, which you rarely see around here.
The meats were impeccably fresh and tender, from the thinly sliced brisket to the pork belly. Every cut we ordered sizzled beautifully on the grill and delivered on that perfect balance of char and juiciness.
Service at Good Nine is both fast and friendly, with staff who keep the grill going and the plates coming. We’ll definitely be back for more!“

“Still one of the best places for everything BBQ. From the BBQ pork to the roasted pork. Everything is tasty and amazing.
The skin of the roasted pork is sooo crispy. The pork is seasoned to perfection. 😋
I ❤️ the honey glazed on their bbq pork. Just the right amount of sweetness. As for 1/2 & 1/2 lean. The little bite of fat added to the moistness of the pork.
Soy chicken is another one of our must order. The chicken is seasoned so nicely with the soy sauce. 😋😋
The Suckling Pig is must order for any small party.“

“This place has been our favourite— it is a deep core memory to eat Mr.Beigai’s skewers. It’s a shame that people might miss out due to the low rating but, give Mr. Beigai a chance 😭
Food: The way they season and cook the meat makes it all worth coming back whenever we’re craving good skewers! Very flavourful
Atmosphere: The interior is nice and very spacious! I like the overall design, lighting and feel of the restaurant.
Service: At first, yes, they could maybe speak Chinese to you if you look like you’re Chinese 😂 but, the workers can speak English and can understand you— please just be patient with them
Price: Can be pricey but, good for sharing— my boyfriend and I love coming here 🥰 We typically order 2 servings of both lamb & beef kebabs with rice and a drink which costs us about $35 when we split“

“We made a reservation for dinner on Apr 22nd because we went the weekend before and it was 1 1/2 hour wait. The food was really good but small portions. We booked for 5:30pm and left at 8pm and not by choice. We took our 7 year old. His food came within about 20-30 minutes. While we got our miso, edamame and salad one at a time, It took over an hour to get our BBQ meat, and longer to get our bowls of rice. 2 1/2 hours to get our bill (with me stopping someone to ask for the bill). Our son was super excited to cook meat but was getting upset with all the waiting. Quite honestly, the 2 adults with him were too. But I would give it a try again because the food was good“

“Recently ordered takeout through their online ordering system and there was no indication that there would be any additional fees, but when I went through checkout and checked the receipt, there was a maintenance fee just around $10% of the total bill that was added on. Would recommend calling in or going in person to place orders instead if you want to avoid that fee.“

“I recently visited Jjang Korea BBQ in Richmond, and their bargain lunch special is an absolute steal! The Korean fried chicken is crispy and flavorful—definitely one of the best I’ve had. Their kimchi and potato sides are outstanding, perfectly complementing the meal. The beef is tender, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, making it a great spot to enjoy a chill lunch. Free parking adds to the convenience, which is always a bonus in Richmond. Overall, Jjang Korea BBQ offers incredible value without compromising on quality. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Korean BBQ!“

“I have seen this food truck for a while and finally caught it when it's opened. Seeing not a lot of people I was wondering would it be good, but I was blown away. The skewers are cheaper than outside and just tasted so amazing. Seasoned perfectly and grilled to perfection. Eating outside with the setting sun definitely sets a good mood to enjoy the food.Definitely need to try the lamb kidney, chicken knee, chicken soft bone and meat, beef tongue, and must order the Naan, it is more Northern Chinese Naan bread, and it is so soft and pillowy, we ate both of them so quickly.A must try in richmond.“

“Tak Fook Noodles and Congee shop in Parker Place is a true delight for lovers of Hong Kong-style cuisine. Their BBQ pork on rice is excellent, and the roast duck is simply great. The wonton soup deserves five stars for its rich, authentic flavor. Their congee is also exceptional, offering comforting warmth and taste. All of this comes at a bargain price, making it an incredible value. This food court gem delivers top-notch dishes with friendly service, making it a must-visit spot!“

“If you’re a fan of spicy seafood, Fish Man Restaurant in Richmond is a must-visit! We tried the hot and sour fish soup, which was packed with tender fish and fresh vegetables—full of bold, tangy flavor with a good spicy kick. We originally had our eyes on the scallops, but they were sold out, so we went with the clams in black bean sauce instead. No regrets—they were meaty, flavorful, and well-cooked.
The real standout for us was the fried rice. It had incredible flavor and that unmistakable wok hay that’s hard to find.
Prices are a bit on the higher side, but the quality makes it worthwhile. Definitely recommended for seafood lovers looking for bold flavors.“

“Came here with my parents for dinner. The pork and beef is soft and tender. The addition of the side dishes were good: helps to cleanse pallet after eacb bite. The marinate was a bit on the sweeter/powerful side. The staff were friendly and the service was good. The 3 plates of meat and fish I ordered totaled to be ~130 CAD, which is a bit on the pricey end. 4/5“

“BBQ Chicken in Richmond is a go-to for satisfying Korean fried chicken cravings. The chicken comes out perfectly crispy on the outside while staying juicy inside, with sauces ranging from sweet and sticky to spicy and bold. Portions are solid, making it great for sharing with friends, and the casual setting makes it an easy spot to drop into when you’re in the mood for comfort food done right.“

“Tried this older BBQ place, it opened before the others in Richmond. Menu was good, some items were cheaper than Tasty and Party grill ie. Oysters and scallops. Surprised it doesn't have the pan heating up food like the other BBQ restaurants. The seating is a bit more comfortable and spacious, parking was easier, decorations were cute. They take credit cards and free take out containers, made it more convenient. Food was average, some good, some were okay.“

“What an awesome little place kind of tucked away in the second floor of a plaza. The service was excellent and welcoming and the food was amazing! The value and quality of the food was top notch. We ordered a bunch of sushi as well as the Japanese BBQ platter and it was perfect.
Definitely one of the best meals we had while visiting BC!“
