“As a Chinese student I am not expecting a taste exactly like home. I ordered Mongolian Black Bean at Chopbox and it is at least ‘acceptable’. They provide free, authentic chili oil, That tastes awesome. Waffle fries at Flamin Chicken taste delicious(except a little overpriced) I would eat here again during the lunch break.

The whole place is overpriced. Add a tofu can cost 4.99. I once asked for a paper cup for some ice water and was refused. First time ever in Canada.

It would surely benefit so much if they cooked the burger with a bit more crisp, and perhaps toast the buns a bit. However, the onion rings and milkshakes were both 10/10. “Ordered through skip the dishes and honestly it was sooooo good! Super fast wait time (25 mins delivered to our house) during peak time versus anyone else on the app was over an hour. Food was so good, super fresh. Got the kids sushi meal and such a good pick and great price. Also got beef sushi roll and volcano roll for us as well as a beef noddle bowl. Oh and spring rolls and tempura shrimp lol. We were hungry! Anyways all tasted great, hot if applicable, and fast! Highly recommend.“

“We had the pleasure of walking into Colwood A&W and being served by Henner. They were so kind to my 9 yr old daughter and gave us amazing service!
I even went back after ordering for a forgotten request to cut a burger in half and both Henner and the other staff member were so kind with me and didn’t make me feel like I was putting them out.
My child and I went into the bathrooms and they were clean and smelled fresh. We will go to this location again for sure!

“I’ve been going to this A&W location for 3 years. And now, I will leave a review. The food is always exceptional in comparison to other fast foods. (e.g. McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Burger King.) The slight price hike in comparison to these chains is worth the raised quality of product you receive.

Service is outstanding as well, with an example being when I received a bacon, egg n cheese when I ordered a sausage. When I inquired with the worker at the front, I was immediately given a second breakfast sandwich without further questioning.

The atmosphere is good as well. However, sometimes there can be instances of tables being not cleaned after being used. Although, it’s the customers' moral responsibility to clean up after themselves; at least good enough for another person to use it afterwards.

Vegetarian options: There are no true vegetarian options as, Beyond Meat burger patties are cooked on the same surfaces as their standard beef patties. As well as, fries being cooked in the same oil as the chicken products.

Dietary restrictions: As for dietary restrictions, you are able to ask for a change of sauce, or removal of it entirely, and burger toppings can be removed and added to your liking.

Parking: Abundant parking. But, can be difficult to find a spot by the entrances.

Kid-friendliness: Has kids meals. Front staff are often handing out root beer lollipops to kids.

Wheelchair accessibility: Elevator that connects the top and bottom floors of the mall to get to the A&W.“
