“I had a bowl of Duck Pho at Category 12 and WOW! The broth was fantastic, I really liked the roasted veggies and the noodles were Perfect ! And the generous portion of Duck meat was unbelievable.“

“Came here at just after 4pm today on a whim. Clearly we hadn’t checked their opening time ahead of our visit and when we rolled up it was closing. However as we were planning our next move their finance guys happened to be leaving and asked if we would like to be servers some whiskey and beer. Of course we said yes! He opened everything back up for us and proceeded to served some samples and a tasting flight. Then he gave us a little tour of the back. Clearly MacAloney’s finance guy cares about the bottom line because we bought a few bottles. But more than that he cares about service and keeping customers happy. What a great afternoon and what a great place! Oh and their whiskey is fantastic too.“

“I just checked out this new little brewery in Sidney for the first time, and happened to try the freshly tapped Strawberry Shortcake Sour, which honestly had the best and strongest strawberry flavour I’ve ever tasted in a beer! It was so good I had to take home a Crowler. With plenty of beer and cider options on tap, a selection of local snacks, board games, events, and the option to bring in takeout from elsewhere, this place is definitely worth a visit. It’s clear that they value fostering relationships with other local businesses, and are already making a positive impact on the Sidney community.“
