“We were seated right away. The menu was extensive, and I chose the Koobideh. We also ordered the lamb ribs. Within 15 minutes the food arrived, cooked to perfection.
The meat was tasty and succulent. The rice was not overcooked - just right.

Normally can get 2 servings out of 1 because they’re big and full! But not always, depends on who makes it-_- which is kinda annoying.“

This is the place which has been in operation for several years now helping many office workers in the tower and many people in and around the area. The portions come with choice of meats and two vegetable items totally complimentary! For the carb, they serve hot rice with a surprising addition of a fried papad at no charge. This has been my ‘go to’ place for my lunch everyday for many years so long I was working in the tower office and now having retired visit this place without fail whenever I happened to visit downtown Vancouver. Great quality with no change in taste and flavour for years. Checkout their special item of the day, that is on every weekday Recommended highly!

“l Nido in Vancouver is an absolute gem! We came here as a family (me, my wife, and our 11-year-old son) and the pasta dishes completely blew us away. Every forkful was a total flavour explosion – the Amatriciana had the perfect smoky-spicy kick, the carbonara was rich and creamy without being heavy, and the kid’s spaghetti with house-made meatballs disappeared in record time because the sauce was so incredibly tasty. My son actually said “Dad, this is better than pizza!” …and that’s saying something.
But the real star of the show? Hands-down the best tiramisu we’ve ever had in our lives. A product of our Italian server’s mother - a perfect balance of coffee-soaked ladyfingers, silky mascarpone, and just the right dusting of cocoa. It’s so light yet decadent – we fought over the last bite (I let my wife win… this time).
Warm, welcoming service, cozy atmosphere, and every dish made with so much love. We’ll be back very soon – Il Nino just became our new family favourite in Vancouver! Highly recommend!“

“I was going to leave 5 stars because campus doesn’t have the best shawarma spots and this is *relatively* good so far, but I had a few suggestions I hope this place can implement to be improve:

The first time I ordered shawarma on fries, it was extremely good. Fresh and hot, plus tasted great. The second time, the chicken was unfortunately stale and not even warm, and the fries seemed like they’d been thrown in the fryer multiple times.

Both times, my food container was covered in grease and/or sauce that made my hands dirty on the go. Not the biggest deal, but I hope staff can be mindful about this as it changes the experience.

I hope they continue serving fresh and hot food rather than leftovers or stale food.“

I’ve also never seen a single fly or fruit gnat here — which is honestly rare for a place that deals with fresh ingredients and open toppings. Major bonus points for hygiene!

The portions are generous, especially the chicken. I always order the chicken wrap or plate, and they never skimp on the meat. It’s always juicy, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked. You definitely get good value for the price.

“I had a wonderful experience at Chickpea Restaurant. The drinks were excellent and the food was incredibly delicious. I honestly had one of the best falafels I’ve ever tried — perfectly crispy on the outside and flavorful on the inside. The hummus was also very fresh, smooth, and absolutely delicious. Barra 41 is the bar attached to Minerva's Greek restaurant (which has been around forever) and serves the same great quality food from it's kitchen.
