“We were seated right away. The menu was extensive, and I chose the Koobideh. We also ordered the lamb ribs. Within 15 minutes the food arrived, cooked to perfection.
The meat was tasty and succulent. The rice was not overcooked - just right.

This is the place which has been in operation for several years now helping many office workers in the tower and many people in and around the area. The portions come with choice of meats and two vegetable items totally complimentary! For the carb, they serve hot rice with a surprising addition of a fried papad at no charge. This has been my ‘go to’ place for my lunch everyday for many years so long I was working in the tower office and now having retired visit this place without fail whenever I happened to visit downtown Vancouver. I have been ordering from this place for years, I understand with the inflation and everything that they have the price increase, and I'm OK with that, but I'm not OK with the portion size. I still do love the food is always consistent with flavor, but definitely not happy with a portion. The meat had very little amount in there, And I was gonna charge two dollars for extra hot sauce, which I'm OK paying, but the container was so tiny“

“I absolutely love this place, the guy who runs it is super sweet and he makes the food super quick. I was a regular here for a while and he memorized my order which made me feel special. The prices are all super reasonable and you can get a full balanced meal that tastes good for less then 20 bucks. This is the only donair shop I ever spend money in.“

“A great late-night option for wraps and platters, my personal preference.

Chicken/Lamb/Beef platters are $18.49 each, and my portion was happily hefty when I picked it up in person versus ordering via DoorDash/Uber Eats. It comes with Greek salad, 2x domaldes, 2 potatoes, rice, and a heap of meat that gets covered in 2 sauces of your choice.

I also ordered a side tabbouleh that I wish was more dominant with parsley, but it’s still decent, and quite filling with the extra quinoa.

The location was super clean, and the customer service was sincerely warm and friendly. Not sure what’s with all the negative reviews, but in my opinion, if you enter with a smile, you’ll get served with smiles in return.

“This Donair Dude location has become one of my go-to spots for a quick, satisfying meal. One thing that really stands out is how clean the store is. Every time I visit, the counters, tables, and even the sauce station are spotless. The pasta is consistently very creamy and savoury, the texture of the pasta is quite al dente, and the serving is rather generous and is able to sate my hunger. The food is also prepared at a really quick pace (like within 4-5 minutes), which is good because as a student, I can't really stick around in the same place for too long, so it's a really nice place to drop by when you have a 1 hour break between classes and need something good to eat.

“Yesterday was my second time at Chickpea, and I have to say they offer a wide variety of options for any time of the day.

On both visits, Laura was my server, and she has been a big part of why I’ve enjoyed this place so much. Her service was incredible, and I always feel very well taken care of every time I come here.

The restaurant’s decor is also beautiful and has very “Chickpea vibes.”

You can get a half order or a full order. I got a full order. The fish is only available on Thursdays. I knew it was Salmon once I tasted it and the kind gentleman who took my order told me it's in fact wild pink salmon. Tasted amazing. The order also comes with a pappaddum. Nice touch. Barra 41 is the bar attached to Minerva's Greek restaurant (which has been around forever) and serves the same great quality food from it's kitchen.
