“Had the best lunch at Kahuna with out of town friends. The Loco Moco was a delite for my husband but the Kiluaea Kahlua pork was beyond expectations ... great service and friendly fun owners. The dole whip with lava sauce was a pleasant surprise ... good portions, great food ... didn't get back to get the macadamia nut bars but now I have a great excuse to get back there SOON1“

“The are 7 locations of this local chain for a good reason. The burgers are simply delicious. Perhaps a little on the expensive side for just burgers but they are well worth it. The quality of food and service is good and consistent. The place is usually busy so it can help to make a reservation but it’s not essential. There are seating inside and outside. It’s good to know that any burger can be made for vegetarians so the menu is not at all limited for vegetarians. The burgers are either served with french fries or salad or both. Making a choice is difficult but you must try the aioli mayonnaise and its a good idea to go for the 1/2 pound supplement for 2,50$. They also have original and good tasting cocktails.“

“Phenomenal burger whilst inebriated. Decent / good whilst sober! Burger was very tasty, but is a bit on the saltier side (and a bit soggier, not unlike how fatburger or 5guys does it). It would surely benefit so much if they cooked the burger with a bit more crisp, and perhaps toast the buns a bit. However, the onion rings and milkshakes were both 10/10. Overall, would easily recommend this place! Service was great and the burger was very good, but it does have room for improvement as it's not quite that "perfect" burger.“

The food was amazing and made to order!! The service was so amazing, I told them that I loved the soup and they gave me an extra bowl since I was raving about it. I also thought the price was very reasonable.

“Four of us had a nice meal when we were visiting Victoria last week. Our server, whose name I forgot...Sarah?...was great! Friendly, great sense of humor, attentive. We all had burgers. The burgers were good but we will disappointed that we could not have them cooked "medium"...they were quite a bit more well-done than we like. We understand Canada has rules about restaurants not grinding their own meat and having to cook it more well, but for we Americans who prefers a less well-done burger, it took away from the taste. “The service and place where amazing. Betty burger is a submenu of the Nellie's seafood and steak house. The portions were generous . We tried the juicy Lucy and it was one of the best burgers I have tried ever. Really juicy and prime quality meat with enough flavor from the other ingredients. “I’ve been going to this A&W location for 3 years. And now, I will leave a review. The food is always exceptional in comparison to other fast foods. (e.g. McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Burger King.) The slight price hike in comparison to these chains is worth the raised quality of product you receive.

Service is outstanding as well, with an example being when I received a bacon, egg n cheese when I ordered a sausage. When I inquired with the worker at the front, I was immediately given a second breakfast sandwich without further questioning.

The atmosphere is good as well. However, sometimes there can be instances of tables being not cleaned after being used. Although, it’s the customers' moral responsibility to clean up after themselves; at least good enough for another person to use it afterwards.

Vegetarian options: There are no true vegetarian options as, Beyond Meat burger patties are cooked on the same surfaces as their standard beef patties. As well as, fries being cooked in the same oil as the chicken products.

Dietary restrictions: As for dietary restrictions, you are able to ask for a change of sauce, or removal of it entirely, and burger toppings can be removed and added to your liking.

Parking: Abundant parking. But, can be difficult to find a spot by the entrances.

Kid-friendliness: Has kids meals. Front staff are often handing out root beer lollipops to kids.

Wheelchair accessibility: Elevator that connects the top and bottom floors of the mall to get to the A&W.“

“We had the pleasure of walking into Colwood A&W and being served by Henner. They were so kind to my 9 yr old daughter and gave us amazing service!
I even went back after ordering for a forgotten request to cut a burger in half and both Henner and the other staff member were so kind with me and didn’t make me feel like I was putting them out.
My child and I went into the bathrooms and they were clean and smelled fresh. We will go to this location again for sure!

“We loved everything!! We came in for a drink last night 5-29-25. We had eaten dinner in another restaurant down the road, it was awful! We mentioned that to Gabby, and the next thing we knew, she brought a beautiful plate of food to share, on the house. It was delicious, and we were so touched by her sweet, and caring gesture!! It turned the last night of our vacation around, and made it wonderful!! Out server Jocelyn was phenomenal as well!! I will always come back and eat there when I am in Victoria, and will highly recommend it to anyone I know who is going to visit Victoria!!! Thank you for being so amazing!!! “I took my dad here for his Father's Day dinner today and we loved the food, I had never been to this White Spot before so it was my first time eating here. I had my favourite burger The Legendary Burger and my dad loved the steak he even tried the Dippin Chicken tenders which is another one of my favourite meals to eat at White Spot. Our waitress was friendly and generous to ask the manager if the hockey game could be turned on the bigger TV and they did it which we greatly appreciate.“
