“Had the best lunch at Kahuna with out of town friends. The Loco Moco was a delite for my husband but the Kiluaea Kahlua pork was beyond expectations ... great service and friendly fun owners. The dole whip with lava sauce was a pleasant surprise ... good portions, great food ... didn't get back to get the macadamia nut bars but now I have a great excuse to get back there SOON1“

“Phenomenal burger whilst inebriated. Decent / good whilst sober! Burger was very tasty, but is a bit on the saltier side (and a bit soggier, not unlike how fatburger or 5guys does it). It would surely benefit so much if they cooked the burger with a bit more crisp, and perhaps toast the buns a bit. However, the onion rings and milkshakes were both 10/10. Overall, would easily recommend this place! Service was great and the burger was very good, but it does have room for improvement as it's not quite that "perfect" burger.“

“I was in Victoria for work and was looking for an authentic Japanese restaurant that was open a bit later - and glad I stumbled upon UKatsu!

The food was amazing and made to order!! The service was so amazing, I told them that I loved the soup and they gave me an extra bowl since I was raving about it. I also thought the price was very reasonable.

“Four of us had a nice meal when we were visiting Victoria last week. Our server, whose name I forgot...Sarah?...was great! Friendly, great sense of humor, attentive. We all had burgers. The burgers were good but we will disappointed that we could not have them cooked "medium"...they were quite a bit more well-done than we like. We understand Canada has rules about restaurants not grinding their own meat and having to cook it more well, but for we Americans who prefers a less well-done burger, it took away from the taste. We also had fried pickles and fries both of which were very good.“

“I’ve been going to this A&W location for 3 years. And now, I will leave a review. The food is always exceptional in comparison to other fast foods. (e.g. McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Burger King.) The slight price hike in comparison to these chains is worth the raised quality of product you receive.

Service is outstanding as well, with an example being when I received a bacon, egg n cheese when I ordered a sausage. When I inquired with the worker at the front, I was immediately given a second breakfast sandwich without further questioning.

The atmosphere is good as well. However, sometimes there can be instances of tables being not cleaned after being used. Although, it’s the customers' moral responsibility to clean up after themselves; at least good enough for another person to use it afterwards.

Vegetarian options: There are no true vegetarian options as, Beyond Meat burger patties are cooked on the same surfaces as their standard beef patties. As well as, fries being cooked in the same oil as the chicken products.

Dietary restrictions: As for dietary restrictions, you are able to ask for a change of sauce, or removal of it entirely, and burger toppings can be removed and added to your liking.

Parking: Abundant parking. But, can be difficult to find a spot by the entrances.

Kid-friendliness: Has kids meals. Front staff are often handing out root beer lollipops to kids.

Wheelchair accessibility: Elevator that connects the top and bottom floors of the mall to get to the A&W.“

“We were staying at the hotel while my hubby had heart surgery and ate there our first night. THE FOOD AT ATMOSPHERE IS AMAZING!! The second night I made an order online but accidentally pushed the Westshore location...(I'm in Saanich) when I was pointed out my mistake the young man up front went to talk to his manager Jenn! “We had the pleasure of walking into Colwood A&W and being served by Henner. They were so kind to my 9 yr old daughter and gave us amazing service!
I even went back after ordering for a forgotten request to cut a burger in half and both Henner and the other staff member were so kind with me and didn’t make me feel like I was putting them out.
My child and I went into the bathrooms and they were clean and smelled fresh. We will go to this location again for sure!

“Never went here before last night but was really impressed by the food service and atmosphere. We had a party of 10 for a family Christmas dinner and it was amazing. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. First we had Sesame Ginger Gyoza and the Calamari and Chicken wings for appetizers which started our night really well. Followed by an assortment of entries including the Hollywood Burger Steak Frites the Szechuan Beef Noodle Bowl and the #28 Dragon Bowl. Each of these entries were all delicious. Then we had the desserts which were the Key Lime Pie and the Oreo cheesecake which both were very delicious. This place checked all the boxes. Service to Friendly staff to exceptional food. They can serve a small party of 2 to a party of 10 without a sweat. We are making this place our place not only for a place for Christmas gatherings but a fun place to go for dinner and drinks and lunch every day of the week. I am really looking forward to trying more items of their menu in the near future“

Parking: This is close to Beacon Hill Park so more parking is available there, then walk to the drive-in.“

“We love everything about this Romeo's location. The food is just excellent, friendly service, and you feel like you really got your money's worth.

I always order the spinach pizza, which is delicious, but honestly, I've never had a bad meal at Romeo's.

It's a comfortable place with plenty of seating, almost all booths, which I like, and is in the (outdoor) shopping mall. It is bright and comfortable and excellent value for your money.
