“Had the best lunch at Kahuna with out of town friends. The Loco Moco was a delite for my husband but the Kiluaea Kahlua pork was beyond expectations ... great service and friendly fun owners. The dole whip with lava sauce was a pleasant surprise ... good portions, great food ... didn't get back to get the macadamia nut bars but now I have a great excuse to get back there SOON1“

“Found this bar by chance and what a good find it was.
If you want sport plenty of screens to watch, music, good food and top selection of drinks. The bar owner came over to chat as he realised we were out of town. Made us really welcome and gave us a list of places to try the following day. We did return again for a few more drinks and bar food.
Would love to revisit and make use of the large outside seating area and watch Victoria go by.

The second night I made an order online but accidentally pushed the Westshore location...(I'm in Saanich) when I was pointed out my mistake the young man up front went to talk to his manager Jenn! She had my order ready so fast! No questions asked! It was very busy in there for a Wednesday night! You guys are awesome. Thankyou again! We will be back to the hotel Accent Inn and Bin 4!“

“Usually I love A&W food, but the breakfast sandwich I had was so greasy it was dripping and sliding apart. Worse sandwich I have ever had there.

UPDATE: A&W's manager invited back for a chance to make the meal right. I ordered the same meal and it was fantastic. Cooked perfectly and not a drop of grease, huge improvement. This is exactly what I expect from A&W.

“I’m gonna rate my Big O Beef Burger a 5/5 double burger was a must.

Hawaiian burger also a double patty 5/5

Was a 5/5

Also got the Beef n Chipotle Fries not really a fan to much sauce, it ruined it for me 2/5. Should have just stuck with the Classic Cheese n Gravy fries …
Lesson learned.

“Meals took an abnormally long time to arrive. As a declared Celiac, a meal was given to me that contained gluten. Host/waitress were very apologetic and provided a replacement meal choice for free however our dining out experience with friends was made awkward by this screw up.“

“The service and place where amazing. Betty burger is a submenu of the Nellie's seafood and steak house. The portions were generous . We tried the juicy Lucy and it was one of the best burgers I have tried ever. Really juicy and prime quality meat with enough flavor from the other ingredients. Recommended to anyone around downtown Victoria“

“I’ve been going to this A&W location for 3 years. And now, I will leave a review. The food is always exceptional in comparison to other fast foods. (e.g. McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Burger King.) The slight price hike in comparison to these chains is worth the raised quality of product you receive.

Service is outstanding as well, with an example being when I received a bacon, egg n cheese when I ordered a sausage. When I inquired with the worker at the front, I was immediately given a second breakfast sandwich without further questioning.

The atmosphere is good as well. However, sometimes there can be instances of tables being not cleaned after being used. Although, it’s the customers' moral responsibility to clean up after themselves; at least good enough for another person to use it afterwards.

Vegetarian options: There are no true vegetarian options as, Beyond Meat burger patties are cooked on the same surfaces as their standard beef patties. As well as, fries being cooked in the same oil as the chicken products.

Dietary restrictions: As for dietary restrictions, you are able to ask for a change of sauce, or removal of it entirely, and burger toppings can be removed and added to your liking.

Parking: Abundant parking. But, can be difficult to find a spot by the entrances.

Kid-friendliness: Has kids meals. Front staff are often handing out root beer lollipops to kids.

Wheelchair accessibility: Elevator that connects the top and bottom floors of the mall to get to the A&W.“

“I really enjoy this place, especially their Korean Pork Bulgogi—it’s so good that I keep coming back just for that. The food is consistently delicious, though I’ve noticed a few changes. They no longer serve miso soup when you dine in, which was always a nice touch. Sometimes the utensils are forgotten in the takeout bag, and if you order later in the evening, the food can arrive colder than expected. Despite these small issues, the quality and taste of the dishes always stand out, and it remains one of my favorite spots.“

“I’ve always loved this spot for their shawarma, but today I tried the burger—and wow. Easily one of the best (teriyaki) burgers I’ve ever had. Juicy, flavour-packed, and perfectly messy in the best way. Had it with a side salad, and the whole thing was just next level. Don’t sleep on the burger here—you’ll thank yourself later.“

“This is a bit more mainstream than the places I like to eat. But what can I say? I always end up coming here. I travel a lot for work and there always seems to be a brown social House close to my hotel.
I usually end up there just by elimination and I'm never disappointed.
Of course I'm always looking for something weird and out of the ordinary, but there is something to be said about the reliable . Browns is that.
I always get the blackened chicken fediccini because it's always good and enough food .
Staff is always pleasant .
I am a typical middle aged bar Parton , heading in after a long day for dinner before bed .
Sometimes the servers face is the only smile I'll see all day . I don't think she is in love with me or we are going to hook up . It's just basic warmth , human comfort . I really do appreciate it .
There's always a spot at the bar ,

To top it off - started in North van , that's a home grown fanchies , and that's a forsure right on .“

One server, one chef, place was about half full. Service was faster than expected given only one server. Food was delivered fairly quickly, was hot and very tasty. Highly recommend it.“
