“I shall have to come back and try it again, it was very good. I had the Takoyaki Appetizer, deep fried octopus balls and for the main course Black Arashi Tan Tan - Black sesame base with pork belly, egg, spinach, bamboo shoots, crushed peanuts, chili oil, garlic, green onion and nori seaweed.“

“Five stars across the board! I went here on a friends recommendation after moving in Victoria, and it's quickly become my favourite place to grab dinner at least once a week. The ladies who run the shop are so nice! If you love ramen, please check this place out!!“

“I honestly don’t understand the hype. I got the spicy miso tonkotsu ramen. It was just okay.

The broth is too thick for my liking. Someone wrote that it felt like a flavourless thickening agent was added. I agree and I think they are boiling the noodles in the soup which releases the wheat from it into the broth. I don’t prefer this method or the effect of that.

I also don’t prefer the straight wheat noodles. This is personal preference. I much like the bouncy yellow noodles.

The service was great. My server was kind and regularly refilled my water which was nice!

Overall, I just don’t get what all the fuss is about. Nothing particularly bad, just not as amazing as I had hoped.“

“I’m honestly love Menbow Ramen.🍜Their flavours are always on point and super consistent no matter when I visit! Even though Menbow has a few locations, this one’s my go-to 🙌. I really like the vibe here and the staff are always friendly and welcoming 😊. They’ve got a solid variety of ramen options, but my fave is definitely the Tantan Ramen 🔥. The BBQ beef ribs are awesome too.🥩 So tasty and tender! If you’re into Asian cuisine, this place is a must-try! 👍🏻“

“Ordered assorted sushi for a corporate lunch and it was phenomenal. Everyone kept asking... where is this from? It's so good and we will definitely order again.“

“I ordered the tantan ramen , it says 1 spicy. But it wasn't that spicy at all , it barely had a kick with each bite. It was still good. The broth is bursting with flavours , the noodles were cooked to perfection not too soft. Not too hard. The beef that came with it was good. Had two large slices. The Pork Gyoza was good however, it was just a tad bit too crispy. Overall a good place for some quick ramen. In the mall.“

“A bit on the pricier side for the portions, but the ramen and other dishes are solid and delicious. The food comes out pretty fast and the in-store seating area is cozy and private for small groups if you don't wanna eat in the mall dining area“
