Starbucks in Victoria

“Been here twice with an X-boyfriend, his treat. Busy, clean, professional, accommodating re special requests, china cup vs not standard ‘Take Out’ paper waxed tall cup for a double Cappuccino.
Food is brought in. Made with margarine guaranteed. I definitely wouldn’t spend my money on their snack foods. They’re not a bakery :/ and Heaven knows when those products were made.
Their regular coffee needs half cream to taste palatable. Cappacino and Café Lattes are 💯 Great Staff also. Very hard working.

Parking: Oak Bay location. Most people walk to this location.“

“This is a clean location with good service and two bathrooms. It did become really busy mid morning when the nearby students came in for a pick-me-up, but nothing wrong with that.

Wheelchair accessibility: It seems very accessible.“

“Nice customer service, I haven't seen a few very curtouse staff recently. I don't know if they were switched to another location, but there are still a few of them. My drink is capuchino, latte, strawberry frappuccino, mocha crumble cookie with cream, cheese Denish.“

“Staff here are always amazing, they never mess up my order and usually make my drinks super fast. I have had some creepy experiences with other customers bugging me here, just while I'm trying to sit and enjoy my drink- so vibes aren't always it. But im always happy with my to go orders.“

“Had the best experience yesterday!! Abi and another guy with glasses accommodated all my needs and I had a fun time trying out a new drink. I wanted to switch out my spinach feta wrap for a grilled cheese, he did it with a smile and Abi helped me figure out customization for my drinks, they deserve a raise! Lol“

“The space is relatively small, with four (4) small 2-person tables as well as some additional outdoor seating. Two of the tables are right next to power outlets, and the WiFi is great, so if you need to do some work on a laptop it's a nice spot if there's available tables. I was there from 11:00 am - 2:15 pm on a Monday and the only time that all the indoor seating was occupied was right at the beginning after I arrived, but by the time I received my order a couple spots had opened up.

Parking: The Tillicum mall parking lot is right outside and ensures plenty of available parking.

“Love this cozy place, conveniently located. Today we tried their iced matcha lattes , one with strawberry cold foam and the other one with lavender cold foam. Both were great and we loved it💖 Staff are very friendly and helpful and they paid attention to detail. Thank you Henri and Thomas for your great customer service, really appreciate it.“

“Love this Starbucks and the atmosphere here is great. The Barista's are nice at this location but the Barista's at the Government St Starbucks are the best. I would recommend trying out this location if you like reading while you enjoy your tea or coffee as this location is a bit more quite than some of the other ones.“

“Seemed to be a bit more of a wait than I'm used to. Not to order, that was quick and asked the right questions to get the right product.Waiting for the order to be filled. There were four people ahead of me in the store, yet it took fifteen minutes to get two drinks.Oak Bay Avenue and the Yates Street location seem quicker.“

“I was having a bad day and I asked the employee about what kinds of cold brews they had as I was actually unsure of what I wanted. Despite there being a long line, she was patient and so happy to genuinely help me. I asked if she knew how to make a special drink I saw one time a while back and she went to make it for me. Went above and beyond and made my day a little better. I think her name is Vernix (might be spelling it wrong). Thank you!“

“One of my favourite Starbucks in Victoria! It is spacious, not too loud with music, and a friendly environment. Phil, the manager, is always kind and takes time to say hello or ask about our experience. Shoutout to Marcus who absolutely makes our day!! He is positive, kind, friendly, and makes the drive beyond work worthwhile each and every visit!“

“All is good at this Starbucks... its back to being an efficient location with a warm vibe. From time to time this location can get backed up when tourism is in full swing so be mindful if you're on time constraints. The new faces are killing it, good work team!“

“Alex ( i think ) was working at the starbucks by my work today and they were super understaffed and he was rushing around like no other and he found out a bunch of mobile orders didn't come in so he rushed to make those as i was waiting for my order to be done he got yelled at by some guy for something stupid and took it so well he found out someone else was trying to make me my drink so he gave me two he was so funny and calm and efficient someone get this guy a raise“

“I've been getting breakfast here almost everyday before work lately. Very convenient

One of the few cafes open in early mornings. No indoor seating, but understanding with the store space size. That bench out outside is nice to eat at during summer

Wonderful staff. I recommend as there's not a lot of places open this early for a quick breakfast“

“If I remember correctly, when I was relaxing on April 27, 2024, I was guided by a barista who was so cute ☆☆ Thank you! ! While I was drinking, a quiet staff member just gave me two promos and I was so happy. Hey there! ! It’s strawberry and chocolate☆! ? Good to have! !

Today, 2024/07/28, I came here for drinks, and again I received a promo chai from the gentle staff, which I didn't like at all. Thank you for understanding how kind I am! !

“Always cheerful people working and drinks might be a bit more expensive then timmies but taste much better plus they don't charge for extra whip cream :)

Shout out to Emma and Emily. The 2 ladies closing shop for the day. The door was not locked yet and I entered turned out it was 2 after 8pm so they were closed. It's the end of im sure was a long Sunday shift and they welcomed me in with a smile instead of kicking me out and still made the much needed coffee for me. Thank you ladies“

“I had the best experience today at Starbucks. I'm older and often feel like young people are pretty generic; usually not giving me the time of day. However, today was different. Jessa was so kind and tolerant. Answered all of my questions about the app. I walk with a cane so I can't really carry things. Jessa very thoughtfully carried my stuff, asked me if my coffee was the right ratio of milk to coffee, and finally asking me if I needed anything else. A very refreshing young person! I think they will do well in life. They really stand out!“

“One of the better Starbucks in the greater Victoria area. Staff are nice and hardworking and always try their best to keep up with customer instant orders and demanding customers. Big shout out to them.
It is a larger space Starbucks with indoor and outdoor sitting areas.
No Drive-Thru here.“
