The Brie Apple Panini has a balanced taste and suits my empty stomach very much. Perfect way to start the morning with.
The chocolate croissant is airy (in a good way). I can have it every day~ it's one of the best croissants I have tried.
The bakery is located approximately 5 mins away from the terminal. Do stop by and grab something to eay during the ferry ride.“

“Delicious and cozy. Every time we come here we’re greeted by the lovely staff and have a delicious cozy meal. The eggs Benedict id delicious and every time I visit I can’t resist a pecan turtle bar and their herb sourdough is unmatched!! Though I wished they offered slicing for take-home loaves.“

The interior is beautifully decorated (designed and built by Annabelle and her partner I believe), and the coffee is delicious, I loved the iced americano! The hojicha latte my friend got was also really good, saying this as a hojicha hater. The pastries were also yummy, especially the guava goat cheese hand pie.
I arrived around an hour before closing on a rainy day so it was pretty slow and had the opportunity to chat with Annabelle! She is so lovely and you can tell that all the regulars love her!

Any cookie lover, gluten intolerant or not, would love them. I bought an assortment and am working m way through them. Yes, the coconut ones are amazing - and the almond - and the chickpea flour, and on and on.

“If you’ve never tried walnut cake, please go for their “pastry red bean” first!!!! 🥰🥰🥰 It was soooo good!!! I bought pastry, butter, whole red bean, chocolate, and matcha today, and I would said that the pastry is the best!!! And my second favorite is “whole red bean”. You can really taste the red bean, and the sweetness is lower. The third one I will recommend “chocolate”~~~~

As a matcha lover, I would said that I’m a little disappointed about their matcha cake… There was not much matcha taste..🥲

Also a suggestion for owner, for the Ang-butter flavor, if you can change the regular butter to “salted butter”, then I think it would tastes better! The salted butter might balance the sweetness of red bean paste😄😄“

So I bought them, they're so fresh from the oven they smell so nice and taste so delicious I could eat the whole baguette myself with a slice of butter. “I always loved this place but I wasn’t sure if it was Vancouver good or everywhere good, because I hadn’t been to a city known for good Jamaican food. Well I went to Toronto, I ate more than my fair share of patties, and I don’t think anything came close to The Patty Shop.

These patties taste better than all the other patties I’ve ever tried and they come with way more filling too. The flavour and spices are excellent, and I like the pastry texture here more than the golden style patties. The price is basically the same as any other shop so the value is still great. Somehow the patties are also piping hot fresh (literally too hot to eat) 80% of the time I come here.

For the quality of what you get, the amount of filling the patties have, the flavour and the price, this is the best patty shop.“

“Visited Bahar after seeing a friend post on IG about their drink that came with a little coconut pistachio treat. They said it smelled so good in there, had a warm atmosphere, and that the owner was lovely.

THE HYPE IS REAL! Ali at the counter was so cheerful, helped me find some dairy-free treats, and even introduced me to the owner. They said they might eventually have more options. All the pastries looked and smelled amazing, I was incredibly jealous and also grateful.

Loved the lil macaroon that came with my matcha latte (they have dairy-free milk options), and the almond cookie was so soft and chewy (but strong!), great for dipping into an unsweetened drink.

It’s a small/tight space but they do so much there and it’s amazing to see. Definitely will come back when in the area!

“Can't say enough about Uprising Breads Bakery! We travel across town to eat there at least once a week. Their soups are so good and the desserts are wonderful. Coffee is great, too. Staff is friendly and welcoming.“

The staff were kind and patient with my 9 year old who was understandably overwhelmed by the choices. Each item we chose was delicious. The coffee was great too.
