“I was looking forward to enjoying the spring salad. When I got it. I was disappointed that the spiced pecans were missing. When I mentioned this to our server, she told me I there were no pecans because they were'experiencing a shortage. I think that she should have told me this when I placed my order as I probably would have ordered something else.“

“This place is perfect for grabbing a drink on a hot summer day. Oue server Abby was super kind and patient while walking us through the options. She even noticed one of us was cold and brought over a blanket without us asking. Little things like that really stand out. Honestly, one of the best waitresses I’ve met in a long time. Easy 5 stars!“

“Unique experience! Not into heavy metal myself, but I grew up in a blue collar town, so I can deal. And anyway, the superb pulled pork, brisket and other delights are worth every note of guitar feedback played over the speakers. Had the platter and highly recommend. Pickled veggies too? Yum! Quirky and fun decor, excellent service and quality food made from scratch. Will come back for my carnivore fix again & again! Oh and did I mention, the best cornbread ever???“

“Interior was very cool with the pink neon lights. I got the rootbeer float which was delicious. Nice and intimate inside, not a super big place. My only gripe was the price but I’m not sure if that’s something the bar can even control that much w inflation. Out server Amanda was awesome, she recommended some cool places for us to check out on Main after.“

“The Lido quickly became an East Van staple when it opened approx. 10-ish hears ago. It’s authentic & unpretentious, and frequented by folks that are non-mainstream / unconventional / alternative (to use the limited descriptors we humans use 🤣). The bar staff have always been friendly & real. The interior is stylish & creative without trying too hard. The indoor space has lots of places to sit as well as a small dance floor / audience area with a stage - and fun ceiling decor! Live music shows & DJ nights of various genres happen regularly, from jazz to metal. The outdoor space is a hidden gem of the city, as it is fully covered & fenced, making it cozy, private & sheltered from the elements. Highly recommended“

“I went on a Friday evening for the first time. It hit crowded and we had to sit in the entrance. Other than that staff held the crowd in balance and everyone was eating and the food is scrumptious.
Atmosphere is Soothing after a week of work.

“I was served by a dish of wings by a very nice lady named Arantxa tonight. The staff here are always quick , attentive ,welcoming and polite. The wings were excellent and generous in their serving size . I have told many friends about the positive experience I have on a regular basis at Bar One. Whether it's Arantxa, Victoria, or any of the other staff , whose names I don't have at the moment . Credit where credit is due... The food and service make for a good meal.“

“We sat out on the covered patio to enjoy the weather, the inside was a retro pub vibe I really enjoyed. We ordered the pitcher of mojito, corn ribs and spinach dip. Good food and drink prices, the staff were very friendly and attentive. It’s a great pub to visit. Vegetarian options and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They have daily specials available, even on Saturdays, making it an affordable gem on the drive.“

It's very unassuming and contrasting from the loud and busy exterior. It feels like your in a whole other world as soon as you step in the door.“

“My friends and I had an amazing time at Granville Room! The vibe was perfect, with great music and a welcoming atmosphere. The cauliflower wings were crispy and flavorful, and the vegetarian tacos were fresh and delicious.

“Been here twice in the past couple of weeks. Great venue! Lots of ping pong tables, and lots of long tables to socialize and play board games at. Ping pong balls and paddles were provided, and were in great condition. Staff was friendly. Only thing I would suggest for improvement is have more food options, and drink options for people that don't drink beer or wine. Like Smirnoff Ice, Palm Bay or growers cider. Like how the staff didn't mind people ordering pizza from elsewhere and having it delivered there!“

“We went here for my dad’s 70th birthday, I had accidentally booked the wrong number of seats and knowing how new and busy they were I called frantically about changing the reso last minute. They were so nice and very accommodating and were able to make it work (I think we got the best table in the house!)

Besides that, the food & drinks were OUTSTANDING (we got like 3/4 of the menu - the duck was unreal). The service was so good, she was knowledgable and put up with my old mans bad jokes. I can’t recall her name but she had nice red hair and she was 10/10.“

“I have been there on a few occasions and the music is great!!!! I love that the lounge has a live DJ and bar service is great, the servers make sure to check on you.

“I would have given 5 stars straight across the board but I was taken back when I ordered a salad that the ingredients didn’t mention cashew’s. I have a tree nut allergy and was quite disappointed to see cashew’s in the salad I ordered. After speaking with our waitress about it who was very forgiving she said they’ve been trying to get head office to list the ingredients or at least mention ‘ contain’s nuts’ . The manager ’Travis’ was super apologetic removed the salad from our bill. Hopefully the issue gets fixed before something bad happens to someone else. Other than that it was fantastic!“

“After spending 7 nights in this truly fabulous hotel, we ended our final hours in the Ginger Juice Bar, and the service of course was service at the very best, and atmosphere was relaxed and happy. This hotel is amazing ❤

Wheelchair accessibility: We are 2 adults in a wheelchair, and within our 7 nights stay never came across any problems, which added to the comfort of our stay here“

“Our food was out of this world good and the prices were so reasonable. The cocktails were terrific. The Burrata Tomato appetizer had tomatoes so fresh I think they picked them off they vine out back! The Bolognese was very good, the Wagyu Lasagna was outstanding, and the Steak Special was fabulous. Angela knew every detail of the menu and gave great recommendations, and was perfectly attentive all night long. We are so glad CinCin was recommended to us by the concierge at our Hotel (The Loden).“

“I love it because I could do my dancing without being bothered feel like I'm in my own living room dancing I call it my gym I go there when I feel tense and I just get on the dance floor and dance but since I had my two strokes recently infecting my balance so I need to rest hopefully it comes back cuz I miss going dancing and it's also the my favorite because I'm allowed to bring my dog with me“

“We went for lunch at the recently renovated The Grill at Terminal City Club. Though only accessible to members, I really enjoy dining and lunching here with friends. It has an outdoor patio area that overlooks waterfront to the North. We really appreciate that the restaurant gave us well-portioned meals even though we asked for the dishes to be split. Our salad and our club sandwich with all the fries were a good portion for each person. Lots of choices between soup and salad to compliment your sandwiches. Coffee and tea are part of the meal. That grilled salmon caesar salad was so delicious, healthy and light, I was craving it the next day. Fries were very crispy and delicious too.“

“Life of a transit operator, we see lots of things when we work. My joy is trying new restaurants, coffee shops, dessert shops and curiosity arise to my eyes when there is lots of customers in a place. I try Bells and Whistles today with my daughter. I admit the fish tacos was delicious for appetizer. We order popcorn shrimps and try one of their new feature cheese burger with jalapeños plus fries too. My food was good and I like my food hot not cold. The waitress was very helpful and courteous.“

“Great time at Bimini's! They accommodated our special request to book out their mezzanine level for 50+ people for a joint birthday party, with a very reasonable deposit, and allowed us to decorate the place, bring in birthday cake, and have a mini karaoke corner using our own portable system with a laptop mirrored to one of their TVs as the karaoke screen. Service and food were great as well! We ordered a few rounds of appies for the group, and everyone purchases their own drinks and could order additional food as needed. Sam the manager was very good at checking in to ensure all was going well throughout the evening. Would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a great special event space. Thanks again Bimini's and we will be back!“

We came in close to closing time with a large party, and even though she was working alone and I know we were a handful, she was able to accommodate us with so much grace and professionalism! We had such a special night and felt so lucky to celebrate at such an iconic Main Street spot.“

“Was the most magical night of my life. Evan the bartender went over the top to make my night. He made me this green peppercorn cocktail . I've never tasted anything like it, was the best drink I've ever tasted in my life.

“Really enjoyed our visit before the Teddy Swims concert. Great local beer selection, burger was delicious! The place was rocking!!! Asked the bartender if it was always like this on a Saturday and he said he’d never seen it so busy. Bartenders were slammed.“

“Breakfast pub dining and the food is delicious. We had the Huevos Rancheros and the bean base was delicious. Excellent portion sizing and they also have an expensive cocktail selection. Limoncello spritz! Which we didn't try but will next time. Coffee was very diner coffee.“

“This is a real speak easy hidden at the back of the Hundy burger and chicken sandwich counter. Dark comfy interior with a nice mix of soft music. The drinks are really good but pricey, luckily the sandwiches are good and reasonable. The spicy chicken, fries, salad and poutine are creative, delicious and unique. They're a bit understaffed so be patient and enjoy the ambiance.“
