“Rustic Bakery gets pretty busy during farmer's market days. Luckily we found seats outside by the bike rack. It is the type of restaurant where you order at the counter and they give you a number to put on your table. We ordered a couple of sandwiches, a Caesar salad and some pastries. Everything tasted OK. Nothing stood out as extraordinary.“

“Came on a Sunday around 10 am and waited in line for around 15 minutes to order. The interior is super cute but very limited seating so we had to wait a while for seats to open up.

Maison Nico had an amazing selection of pastries but my friend and I decided to get some classic ones- a plain croissant and a brioche slice. We both loved how airy and light the croissant was and the brioche slice was also amazing- it had a perfect sugar glaze and was super crisp on the outside yet light and airy on the inside. Both paired well with the lattes that we got!“

“Got two boxes from this eatery as part of the Too good to go initiative. Would otherwise have never heard of this place or ventured in, as it is inside one of those big downtown buildings that one has no business visiting unless one works inside. There is no seating for the eatery itself, it’s basically a order counter for to go orders. The man taking orders and preparing the food is super friendly and very efficient. Food itself was tasty although I only tried whatever was in the surprise box so it wasn’t any of the actual menu choices.“

“This place had the best tuna melt I have ever eaten. I have been on 3 cross country road trips and to so many diners and cafes. Tuna melts are one of my favorite things to order. Hollywood Cafe's tuna melt is seriously the best. It was perfectly grilled and had just the right amount of mayo in it. The place is located right next to the Powell Mason Cable Car line. “Ok.. I just hit the jackpot with this Cafe'. I have been craving a hot pastrami sandwich for the longest time thinking the only place to satisfy my craving will be in New York until I gave Sweet Joanna’s a try. I was lucky to be there when one of the owners, Mr. Zaro, took my order and confidently assured me that their sandwiches are the best. He was not lying. I got the best looking layered sandwich of pastrami, cheese, pastrami, avocado, pastrami lettuce and tomatoes on a warm Dutch crunch. I had to take a photo of this master piece to post here. I was in heaven when I took the first bite. The bread, the cheese and pastrami were heated first, explained Mr. Zaro, then the other fixings were added. That way you get an amazing crunchy bread with warm pastrami, melted cheese and the fresh veggies. This place will be my first stop when I am in San Francisco. It is clean with friendly staff and a great service.“

This place doesn’t look like much from the outside – just a small corner shop. But the food hits way above its weight class.

Got their egg sandwich on a croissant with added ham. Ready in minutes, which was clutch. The croissant was fresh and flaky, the egg and melted cheese were spot-on, but the real standout was their mixed vegetable spread. Whatever they put in there turned a solid breakfast sandwich into something actually memorable.

They always make a perfect latte and are quick and efficient. never have to wait a long time to get a latte as they are very hard-working and cognizant of peoples time. Both are super friendly and always beyond satisfied with their perfect latte.

Tucked in the Woodland neighborhood in a residential neighborhood and you can get breakfast sandwiches, lunch in addition to their wonderful pastries and cookies. I took some home with me too. How this place doesn't have a line out the door all the time I don't know, but people need to know about this family owned place. They took over from the previous owners and they are so nice. Its calm and has a back patio too.“
