“Update: 2023Tried it today, and it was great! Fast service, nice people. We had mixed tempura and 3 different rolls. We will come back again now.Service has gone down terribly. Like the last review, had to beg for everything. There was 1 guy at the bar like us and one table of a few people, I wouldn't say that's busy. At 2:30 we were told last call. Too much rice, too much eel sauce. Not worth a hundred dollars for sure. What's going on?“

“Incredibly authentic Japanese establishment focused on good food and service. The chirashi bowl had some of the freshest fish I've had in CA, which is surprising since this is the AV. The Japanese speaking staff is awesome, and this restaurant teleports me back to Japan. There's a reason why every AV local recommends this place!“

“If you go hear, treat yourself to the Tonkatsu Ramen. It's my go to Everytime I come here, and it feels like eating a hug.
Reasonably affordable, around 20 to 30 dollars a person, as of January 2026, for you to eat and feel full, maybe even have leftovers.
Signature rolls like the Palmdale, the Xbox, and the Lancaster are delicious, and quite spicy for some.
Staff is respectful and polite. The dining area is quite open with most seating being chairs and tables. Drink and food variety is great and they have a mango ice cream you HAVE to have.

“Delicious, I visited the sushi bar. The chef was polite and attentive. I love the teppan grill very much if that's the proper name. I 've eaten with them for years. The whole menu is good stuff. Today I ordered sashimi and ...a Kirin beer. yum yum, yes I am very happy "again" yum lolssss T“

“Yesterday I walked into this restaurant, the Chinese food here is always good, the lady who was helping me was being nice and patient with a rude customer who wouldn’t leave her alone. The customer proceeded to tell me that the lady wouldn’t be able to help me or charge me for my order. I feel bad for the employee I also work in food and some costumers can be rude.“

“My wife and I stopped by one morning and got there right at opening. We got an order of the Bulgogi Gimbap and a Baked Salmon Roll. I gotta say, it was beyond delicious. I highly recommend stopping by. I highly recommend the Bulgogi Gimbap.“
