“Ramen Boy is an absolute diamond of a spot. Walking in, the atmosphere catches your eye in such a comforting and cozy way, immediately making you want to stay a while. If I could give the atmosphere 6 stars on its own, I would.
Greeted by kind waitstaff, I was already feeling like this place would be worth coming back to again even if the food wouldn't be up to par.
Luckily, the food wasn't just a par, but a hole in one. I ordered 3 starters, the California Roll, the Spicy Tuna Roll and Takoyaki (Octopus), originally listed on the menu as Ebiyaki (Shrimp). The California roll was very good, and the Takoyaki certainly surpassed expectations. But the star of the starters was far and away the Spicy Tuna Roll. Never in my life had I tried a Spicy Tuna roll so full of character. For such a simple roll, Ramen Boy found a way to make it extra special.
For the main course, I tried the Donkotsu Black Ramen. The broth had so much more character, depth and flavor than anything I was expecting. The noodles were soft and creamy, the pork was cooked perfectly where it was falling apart, but crispy on the edges. The entire bowl came together in a symphony that Beethoven himself would be jealous of.
No doubt in my mind, this is place to come back to over and over again. It is near perfect in every way.“

“I loved everything about this place. I ordered 15 minutes before they closed and the food was still amazing customer service was a 10. My family of four ordered 2 chicken and beef large bowls, beef loaded fries, noodles, and crunch sushi roll. I’ll definitely recommend and I’ll definitely be back for more❤️“

“I f-king love real wasabi. It absolutely beats the pants off that super green horseradish paste every single time. And guess what folks? This is the place you’ll find it. Legit. I sat down and asked for uni, my go to, then for Otoro, the love of my life. Neither were to be found this night, but I discovered something more. After pouring a beer at the bar, I filled out the usual form, mostly chose the usual things, and sent a beer to the chef as well. He casually asked if I’d prefer to skip the menu and just let him cook, I obliged. This man wants be a legend, he wants to be remembered for something great, his passion burning fierce as his hands move the blade, steady and focused, slice, rice, squeeze, plate, sauce. All so meticulous, formless without form, thoughtful without thought. The plates were handed over the bar, 2 pieces at a time, art work for the senses and the mind, fortune fame jealousy and lust over steamed rice from tattooed forearms. Indulgence. The heat of a smooth beer buzz rising through my veins, an ode to Ichiban and a prayer to the gods who hold reverence for spirits, as the tuna hit my plate while he shucked an oyster behind the bar. These moments are treasured, yet lost, as the curse of being in the moment itself is fleeting. As per the usual when you see a chef coat, don’t ask for a menu, instead be bold, be curious, and ask for creativity. Two thumbs my guy. Smoke. Cook. Eat.“

“Kyle was amazing. We had a blast celebrating my daughters birthday. The food was cooked to our liking and the service was on point. Kyle was an absolute blast and entertained beyond expectation. Thank you Kyle for the effort and the laughs. If your looking for a place to enjoy a relaxing and entertaining meal, you’ll be pleased with this place. If your looking for a black tie affair your an idiot to post something negative about this place because this isn’t and never has been that type of restaurant. I see some reviews on here that are just wrong on so many levels. This is by far an entertaining and enjoyable place to spend an evening with friends and family. Moses is another great chef that does a great job and has been there for a long time. We have enjoyed so many occasions at Tokyo steak house and they have always been great food and good service. I have been going to this place for almost 30 years and I have never been disappointed. Thank you to all the staff and special thanks to the chefs that make it just over the top fun.“

“An amazing little jewel of a resturant. The chef's choice Sashimi was delicious, both scallop and spicy scallop sushi were awesome and all of the tako tasted great. Very creative fresh, fried, and baked rolls and a nice atmosphere with talkative chefs! Try the Candy roll for a delicious fresh roll or the Rattlesnake for a fried bite with a crispy finish!“

“We were traveling and found this place 30 minutes before they were set to close. The young man working the counter was GREAT! We ordered quickly and he opened the dining area for us. The food came out fast, it tasted fresh and delicious! We had the teriyaki chicken and fried rice and the teriyaki beef with noodles. The portions were enough to feed two with one order. This was as fast and cost as much as going to a drive through.“

“The food here is truly top-notch. I've gotten the chicken kaarage and chicken teriyaki bento box so many times it's difficult to count at this point. The food is always just so good, and their gyozas are out of this world. The macaroni salad on the side is also pretty nice. Overall, pretty good food.“
