“Tasty Point is a really delicious Taiwanese/Chinese restaurant on Santa Clara. They have many hot pot options, but their other dishes are stand-outs too! Nearly everything we've tried has been super tasty. And their boba and other drinks are great.“

“Great experience at MUMU Hot Pot in Emeryville! The quality of the meat was excellent—very fresh, nicely marbled, and perfect for hot pot and grilling. The broth was flavorful, and the dipping sauces were well-balanced. Service was friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere was clean and comfortable. Definitely a great spot for a satisfying hot pot meal in the Bay Area. Will be back again!“

“Went for CNY dinner with a party of 6, spent about $30 per person on AYCE, but it was worth it, wide variety of meats and vegetables to choose from on the AYCE menu, sauce bar wasn't necessarily lit up well, hard to see some of the options, but it didn't take away from the experience at all! Great place for hotpot in the East Bay!“

“Ben Ben Hot Pot was the coziest hot spot experience I've had. I ordered the ox tail broth. It came with tender oxtail meat. There was a generous variety of ingredients to add and open access to tea and drinks. Our waitress knew just when to offer more broth and meats. The music was calm and the ascetic was clean and cozy. Great value at a low price, I will defiently be back !“

“I've been here with my partner a few times and it has always been a nice treat. The service and staff has always been super friendly and fast! I understand the QR code ordering can still be a shock to some, but I can say it has improved since the first time we've used it a few years back. It's fast, clear and I find it more convenient as I can always add to the order at anytime.
We were a party of 4 with one who only eats veggies. We ordered a split pot, premium beef combo, the big veggie combo, lotus, noodles, and fried tofu. The choices of broth are plenty. The mild, to me, is a bit spicier than usual so if you're not used to it, I suggest the normal broth and just add a little hot oil to your liking. That was perfect to start our table off. We added a couple of items later, but that was a good portion for 4 people. Lots of ingredients and broth choices. If you like more customization to your hot pot rather than an all you can eat business model, this place may be a better choice and in some cases, a better value.
After having been there more than a handful of times, I can safely say that I've never had a bad experience there. Always a great date night for me and my partner. With businesses coming and going in today's climate, I'm always happy to see this little corner spot in the mall still serving.
Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options ala carte! My partner is vegetarian. The problem with all you can eat business model is that she can't eat most of the stuff yet paying a premium price. This place offers ala carte so we can do a split pot. She orders the veggies for her side and i can eat the meats on my side. Works out for the both of us!“

“New favorite KBBQ spot in Oakland. I was really impressed with how fresh the meat was, and they have a huge variety to choose from. It’s hard to find a place this good that doesn’t totally wreck your wallet, but the price here is really fair. Definitely coming back with a bigger group next time!“

“This place always serves their DIY hot pot piping hot like roof-of-your-mouth-burnt hot. It’s one of our favorite hotpot’s in berk. I’m sad they close in between 2pm to 5pm because I always crave it around 3pm!
Once you come in, you navigate towards the bowls and you can grab whatever you want with the tongs. Then set it on a scale and choose the soup base. The cost is per pound of food. I like the classic bone broth. But even mild or not spicy, is quite spicy. They also have a dry pot version, where they just sauté all the items you picked out in some sort of mala sauce. But I find the soups much tastier.
Atmosphere is not much. They have a tendency to turn Tables over pretty quickly. And many will just eat and bounce. Not really a linger type of restaurant.“

“We initially tried to come here on a Friday at 7 PM but there seemed to be a long wait so we decided to check it out on a Wednesday and we only had to wait about 10-15 minutes for a table. This location was originally a Taco Bell, but I love the atmosphere there, friendly, good service and comforting food! It's a cozy place perfect for a cold wintry day to have your own little boiling hot pot of tasty broth and hubby and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals! Hubby ordered the Lau Pork Bone Marrow and I had the Lau Oxtail. I ordered the Oxtail without the tripe, just more oxtail! The hot pot came out boiling with oxtail and beef balls. All I had to do was cook the egg noodles, taro, tofu, cabbage, veggies into the soup as there was plenty of delicious oxtail and meat balls in the delicious broth! Great for a bone chilling night! Next time I'd love to try the shaken beef!“
