“Myself and a friend were looking for an ice cream joint in the Walnut Creek area, and happen to come across this place.

The owner is very friendly. We tried a variety of flavors, and then ended up getting the Roasted Cashew, Lemon Creme and the Strawberry.

The ice cream was very creamy and thick, with the right amout of sweetness. Extremely tasty. I always try ice cream at local joints, and this one exceeded all expectations. Will definitely come back, if I am in the area.“

“It all started at 8:30pm when I walked in. The person at the front register, I think his name was Shamir, greeted me with a lovely smile while beautiful symphonies played above me. He welcomed me with a greeting only a Canadian could come up with. He was able to provide me with detailed explanations of each item on the menu including the ingredients and what they would pair well with. As I made my decisions, he knew perfectly what size and toppings I wanted and gave me the most perfect scoop I’ve seen since Vietnam. As he rang me up, I asked who made this wonderful cream made of ice; his answer was Maryn, with this new knowledge, I stood up onto the counter with the cream made of ice in my hand and yelled “the best ice cream ever! Hoorah!” And proceeded to purchase my ice cream and included a huge tip for both of the amazing workers that treated me with such care. As I sat and ate my ice cream. The symphonies playing above me made the ice cream much more enjoyable and it felt like I was eating clouds made of sugar. They continued to serve people with their amazing manners and swiftness, and I continued to eat my amazing ice cream made by gods. Everyone should come and eat this beautiful dessert that was made with love and care that was made solely to gift the world with peace and love. In conclusion. This “Cold Stone” location was nothing but pure bliss, with the amazing workers and their amazing ice cream, I had an experience worth having again. Thank you Shamir and Maryn. Six or seven stars is what this place deserves <3“

“The ice cream flavors are unique and unusual in some cases. I had peanut butter brittle with caramel and fudge – it was delicious! My daughter had strawberry, balsamic vinegar, and black pepper. It was quite unusual, but she said it was really good. Give it a try.“

“When we first drove into the parking lot, it seemed very sketchy initially. But one of my friends was insistent we eat here. The decor inside was gorgeous and very traditional and the owner came to greet us and she was very sweet! The menu did seem a bit limited but the amazing part was talking to the owner who mentioned the traditions of the restaurant and how long she had owned the place. The portion sizes were perfect and the chicken I had was so so amazing. Definetly recommend!“

“I saw a sign for gourmet ice cream and I obviously had to stop in. This place beyond exceeded my expectations! I got the saffron pistachio ice cream and it is one of the most delicious ice creams I've ever had. Perfect balance of sweet and mild and I can see myself craving this. The people there were so nice and friendly as well. 1000% recommend!“

“This place is so popular! I went on a Saturday night and there was a pretty constant stream of groups coming in to grab the yogurt. It’s clean, all the flavors/machines were functioning and all the toppings were well stocked and clean/fresh. There were some seating as well. There’s probably enough space in there for a few more seats along the wall on one side, but not complaining because at the pace of customers coming in, there was plenty of seating. Self serve, so minimal interaction with the staff but they seemed nice.

“8-Twelve is a true neighborhood gem. It is the kind of place where kids can grab a snack and a fun drink for a reasonable price, and then just relax after school. Even though it is not as close to the middle or high school as some of the other hangouts, it has become one of our favorites.

I appreciate that it has lasted the test of time and I hope it continues to thrive. One of the best parts is that they offer non-caffeinated tea drinks for the kids, which is rare and so thoughtful.

“I've never tried Yomie's other locations in Sydney and elsewhere, but I was curious about their concoction after reading reviews and drove over on a Monday around dinnertime. It shares its space with Full House Cafe, between Bank of America and H&R Block. There was absolutely no wait at all, and my drink came out in under 5 minutes. Although the prices are a little high, I personally enjoyed my original purple rice yogurt drink ($6.15, w/o tax). I tried to ask for it at 50% sweetness, based off other reviewers' opinions that the yogurt was too sweet, but the staff said it wasn't possible for this particular drink.That said, I thought the tang of the yogurt does come through (it reminds me of Yakult, but nicely thicker), and found the purple rice pleasantly toothsome and not too overcooked, as others have stated. For what it's worth, my husband isn't so much a fan of purple rice, and did not like this drink (haha). Honestly, I'm not sure the combination was a match made in heaven, as I was very aware of the yogurt flavor and texture, separate from the rice texture... but I enjoyed the snack overall! May at some point come back to try their other flavors, perhaps if there's ever a promotion...“

“This coldstone is pretty good. After eating at Don Hao, which is the best Chinese Food in the Bay Area and right next door, we ordered a Oreo inspired ice cream cake to go. It was $40 which is on the pricey side but it was so damn good! I ate like 4 servings which was a crap ton or calories but so worth it! 😉

He helped us with the purchase of an ice cream cake and went above and beyond providing outstanding customer service! Paul offered us the option of having the cake personalized. We didn’t know that was even possible since it was a smaller size cake. Not only was he able to write Happy Birthday, he even added a name.
