“Fun, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Cozy and comfortable. A really good place to see local and touring bands. Meeting up with other people who share the same music likes is excellent. Door greeters are welcoming also. You feel like you belong here ! I recommend it highly. Recently, I enjoyed seeing one of my favorite California bands, Haunt, and a favorite L.A. band, Intranced, at Ivy Room. Easy to find also, with room to park nearby. Am looking forward to going back soon.😀💕🎤🎸“

“I love this pizza spot. Food, cocktails and atmosphere are all great.

The crust on their pizza really sets them apart. It is a corn meal crust and gives a great crunch.

I recommend coming here for date night or as a casual catch-up with friends. They also have a wonderful lunch and happy hour menu.“

“One of my absolute favorite restaurants in SF. Visited a few times and this past one really reminded me why this place is special. The food is fantastic, but never pretentious. Maggie mentioned her favorite item was the salad which I couldn’t believe, but to be honest I think it was my favorite too. The black cod and the daikon rice cake were also insanely good. The service was exception, huge shout out to Maggie for her help with our allergies too. Highly recommend!!“

“Great night at Casements during SF Carnaval’s Fat Tuesday Season Kickoff! Free live music, fantastic vibes, friendly staff and Pliny the Younger on tap. Our Finnish friend (a serious beer lover) called it the “holy grail of beers” and has been dreaming of trying it his whole life.“

“I threw a birthday party here and I was so pleased with how everything turned out. Debi, the owner is very professional and quick to respond to email and a pleasure to coordinate with. All of the staff were extremely friendly, from the bartenders, waitress and the doorman (who greeted all my guests!). The bar has a lot of seating and is very spacious with great decor. Food is also delicious, which my guests enjoyed. Highly recommend the quesasdillas. Thank you Debi and team for making my birthday so memorable. I recommend throwing your next event here.“

“Great bar and bartender! Arno was a pure gentleman! Great spot for a late night drink after the crowds have cleared North Beach. We were the only two people in there on NYD at midnight but the bartender made us feel welcome and happily gave us great service even though the streets were dead. He also pointed us to a premium sandwich shop for lunch the next day. $14 specialty cocktails and $5 beers too!“

The vibes here are great, the bartenders are lovely, and they have some great merch for sale! My mom who visits from out of state has bought a tote bag, hat, and sweatshirt from Redfield just so she can flex to her friends back home how awesome this bar is. “I thought this would be a dime a dozen dive bar type spot, but thankfully I was wrong. It was pretty poppin for a Monday evening, but not enough to where it was overwhelming. The trees are fantastic, and the cocktails were actually good! We even got a nifty NA cocktail as a nightcap. I'll be coming back next time I'm in the area.“

Sebastian introduced me to two incredible cocktails made with it. It's rare to find a bartender that is so willing to share their love of their craft with an ignorant beer guy like me without being snobby. I can't wait to go here next time I'm in SF.“

“The atmosphere and bar itself was so much fun, the bar staff was incredibly friendly and kind. However, we paid for a private party and the DJ refused to take requests. I understand it is under his discretion to play what he wants, but he refused to play the songs the private party requested. I personally asked him to play a song and he told me he would, I never heard the song so I went back to him to ask about it playing and he told me it was going to be played soon. I never heard the song and when I asked him one more time, he said it’s no longer within your parties time frame and I can play whatever I want. I said that’s disappointing because I asked him to play the song during our private party event at this bar and he told me that’s not longer his problem and he was extremely rude. Very disappointing because this bar and the rest of the staff were amazing, but this DJ was rude and a real let down. Especially for how much money we spent for this bar for a birthday party. Do not suggest the bar hires this DJ again based on how he talked to customers.“

“Had such a lovely time at this quaint B&B in SF. The staff was very friendly, as were the other guests. The breakfast had a nice selection of pastries, and the coffee was plentiful 🥐 ☕️ The room was cozy and pretty clean. Loved having the wine social hour in the evening - twas a perfect chance to hang out in one of the many outdoor areas 😍 Great neighborhood too!“

“This is a FABulous, family-owned and operated bar that absolutely does take credit cards, despite many reviews (connected to prior owners perhaps) saying they don't.

We were there for Thanksgiving and Sully was working non-stop behind the bar, his wife turned the pool table into a Thanksgiving day spread that could have competed with grandma's dinner!

All were invited to a California-style holiday, where you could bring the family you chose to spend the day with, while making new friends if you were interested in doing that. No shopping, cooking or cleaning up. And amazingly they didn't even charge visitors for the meal!

Everything was wonderful!

Another guest brought an addictive, spicy, NOLA influenced oyster stuffing that we must come back for next year! OMG

I don't know if there's any food normally, but we were very lucky to have discovered this bar, any day of the year!

And with Sully and his wife's decades in this business, they've created a very friendly, but also extremely professional , local neighborhood bar. They've also lined the walls with great, music-themed photos and Bay Area concert posters that add to the vibe!

And while their Irish coffee is as good as The Buena Vista, the price is much more palatable !“

“This was my 1st visit to San Francisco on my birthday! Hidive was welcoming, with great staff, good drinks, and a great bar top food menu! Started the day out there with margaritas, and stopped back in for some wings and a nightcap at the end of the day. It was great!“

“The place was very nice, we're visiting the area for a work conference and came here with our colleagues and partners after the training for the day was done. We felt a little out of place since most of the bars where we come from aren't as unique, they only have ingredients to make whats on the menu and can't make regular requested drinks. The bar tender gave us funny looks when we asked question, but did his best to explain things without making us feel dumb. I would come here again, but I feel I need to educate myself on fancy bar etiquette.“
