“I love this pizza spot. Food, cocktails and atmosphere are all great.
The crust on their pizza really sets them apart. It is a corn meal crust and gives a great crunch.
I recommend coming here for date night or as a casual catch-up with friends. They also have a wonderful lunch and happy hour menu.“

“An absolute SF classic that lives up to the hype! The English cut prime rib was perfectly aged, tender, and juicy, spun tableside from the silver dome cart—pure theater. Loved the Yorkshire pudding, creamed spinach, and that massive baked potato. Cocktails are strong and old-school. The retro vibe with white tablecloths feels like stepping back in time. Reservations essential, but it's worth it for a special occasion meat-lover's feast.“

“Casual bar with some really great (unexpected) cocktail options (and beer too of course). They also had a variety of food on their menu. The indoor space is cozy and intimate, and they have a large back space (both covered and uncovered) for larger groups of people. We hung out at the back, there was plenty of room on a Friday night. Service was excellent (didn't have to wait too long at the bar to place orders, they also do table service if everyone is on one tab). I tried one of their gin based cocktails which was excellent. Didn't order food but what people were having looked good. Would definitely come back.“

“Great bar and bartender! Arno was a pure gentleman! Great spot for a late night drink after the crowds have cleared North Beach. We were the only two people in there on NYD at midnight but the bartender made us feel welcome and happily gave us great service even though the streets were dead. He also pointed us to a premium sandwich shop for lunch the next day. $14 specialty cocktails and $5 beers too!“

“An incredible spot to enjoy some top quality draft ciders. I'm not an expert on ciders by any means, but I've had some incredible stuff here (I've particularly loved anything I've had from Yonder). The vibes here are great, the bartenders are lovely, and they have some great merch for sale! My mom who visits from out of state has bought a tote bag, hat, and sweatshirt from Redfield just so she can flex to her friends back home how awesome this bar is. If you enjoy cider, or even if you just want to stop in for a quick beer, this is a great and classy place to come to. Love Redfield!“

“I thought this would be a dime a dozen dive bar type spot, but thankfully I was wrong. It was pretty poppin for a Monday evening, but not enough to where it was overwhelming. The trees are fantastic, and the cocktails were actually good! We even got a nifty NA cocktail as a nightcap. I'll be coming back next time I'm in the area.“

“Amazingly weird, a real gem. Strange and wonderful interior with a wildly good beer selection and the owner, Remat, is a genuine “only in SF” character. Go for the decor, stay for the sour beer, and support a neighborhood bar that could never be imitated.“

“Waldy was the bartender and was super hospitality and welcoming! He was great at recommending the best drinks and food. The quesabirria and the barbacoa nachos were delicious and you have to do a Mexican candy shot (pictured). Music was also great.“
“Visiting town, stopped in for a quick drink. Stayed for six. Great drinks, good prices, nice spot, and the bartender Francisco is both an excellent bartender but also an absolute class act with how he treated another patron that was having a hard time. Would’ve stayed longer if I could have. Will be coming back next time I’m in town.“

“The atmosphere and bar itself was so much fun, the bar staff was incredibly friendly and kind. However, we paid for a private party and the DJ refused to take requests. I understand it is under his discretion to play what he wants, but he refused to play the songs the private party requested. I personally asked him to play a song and he told me he would, I never heard the song so I went back to him to ask about it playing and he told me it was going to be played soon. I never heard the song and when I asked him one more time, he said it’s no longer within your parties time frame and I can play whatever I want. I said that’s disappointing because I asked him to play the song during our private party event at this bar and he told me that’s not longer his problem and he was extremely rude. Very disappointing because this bar and the rest of the staff were amazing, but this DJ was rude and a real let down. Especially for how much money we spent for this bar for a birthday party. Do not suggest the bar hires this DJ again based on how he talked to customers.“

“It’s a great place to meet friends for fun food and have a glass of wine… it has a cozy interior or you can sit out on Dolores sidewalk and enjoy the lovely neighborhood. The owner and his wife make make you feel relaxed and welcome. It’s also a great date spot and the tables are set up for comfort or intimacy if you prefer- it also offers food to go! Most people who try it want to return!“

“I don’t know how long this will last, but right now there’s a lunch deal where you get a free martini with lunch. I got the burger which was great, and the martini was modest sized but packed a punch! It was perfectly made and really hit the spot. “I have found a new favorite bar. Wandered in because I was curious, and was pleasantly surprised. It's a historic bar with GORGEOUS interiors, friendly service, fun historical anecdotes, and there was live music when I was there. I will definitely be back, and hopefully in time to catch the sandos!“

EDIT: I love Asiento even more now, after we hosted our wedding afterparty here! Debi, the owner, is an absolute rockstar. She was so incredibly helpful throughout our planning process, and genuinely cares about your event and guests. She specifically brought custom meals to guests with dietary restrictions, engaged with our friends, and was so fun and attentive at the same time. This place is such a gem and I’m so grateful to Debi and her team for creating such a wonderful bar. Everyone raved about the cocktails and food! Whether you just want a night out or want to throw a party…Asiento is the best!“

“I had a great drink here and will be back — good conversation and playful banter with the bartender. Local spot on Chestnut with a pool table in the back. I stopped in solo just to check the vibe, since I live in the neighborhood and had never been in. Everyone was welcoming, and the staff was happy to chat.“

“I love this bar,! it’s a classic dive bar with decor of top notch classic musicians hanging on walls. The atmosphere is comfortable and the bartenders are so attentive and know their stuff (drinks) what’s really cool is they introduce an eclectic stream of good live music groups. The owners are also top notch friendly classic woman who look amazing!“
