“We really thought this place was cozy and relaxing with great service and large portions. The inside decor and patio were great. Food was a little bit disappointing in that there was no fresh squeezed orange juice or real maple syrup. Also when I asked about the corned beef hash I was told it came from a can. Last minor disappointment was that that had these great looking sticky buns in their display but you had to order quantity of 4 and could not have one with breakfast. Overall, I would recommend it as a nice place for breakfast as long as you are okay with the couple things noted in the review.“

“The food in the cafe is very good. I like to order the steak and eggs, it is very good. The soups are ? delicious. The chocolate cake and the ? ? apple cake are my favorites. The hamburgers are my favorites. the salads ? even the coffee is good“

“Good food and great service. Be sure to arrive with an appetite. The portions are quite large. We enjoyed the potato skins and split an avocado bacon burger that came with lots of sweet potato fries with orange marmalade -- so good! We ended up taking half of the potato skins home.“

“We enjoyed a very nice brunch here recently. There was outdoor seating available which was nice but small. We opened the large umbrella over the little table at some point to keep it out of my son's face. When closed, the bottom edge was too close for comfort and convo. My son ordered the country fried steak and eggs with biscuits and gravy. Although we both thought the gravy could have had more sausage, the biscuits and gravy were pretty delicious. I didn't try the steak but he loved it. My meal of chicken and waffles was quite tasty. The bone-in chicken was incredíbly crispy, large, and delicious. The waffle was cooked to perfection, also with great crispness and a lovely golden brown color. The details I longed for, maple syrup and browned butter, were not present. The lovely waffle was a bit lacking in flavor. Still, the food earns a solid 4 stars and minor adjustments could bring more. Service was friendly.“

“I have eaten here twice today. Lovely staff - very attentive. My dinner tonight was PHENOMENAL! I had the pasta with prawns. I'm pretty picky about what food I feel is truly satisfying flavor-wise, and that dish was SPOT ON. It has capers, which I'm not a fan of, but there are very few of them, and perhaps I'm warming up to them as long as they don't overpower the dish.

It was the perfect sized portion, by the way.“

“The best burger I have had and Thomas was awesome. The bummer, I thought the restaurant was opened. There's never anyone to guide and tell you. When I walked to the bar area, Thomas was totally awesome! I thought I needed a reservation but I didn't, it was seat wherever you want.“

“This was a lovely restaurant I came to for my friend's birthday. Every guest seemed to like their dish. I ordered a club sandwich (no bacon, no tomatoes) with a side of fries but I was a bit disappointed when they brought it with bacon and tomatoes. They sent it back and corrected the order, and it ended up being pretty good and very filling. The restaurant has an outdoor terrace that has a beautiful view on the pool area.“

“This place gets pretty busy on weekends! The parking lot may be full but you can still park along the street. It’s pretty large so there’s usually seats. I love the borracho fries, so good! Also the pulled pork and the cheeseburger are tasty too. The service is good as well. My one complaint is they run out of their popular items by 2pm, tri tip and hot links get sold out really fast. I know they can only bbq so much but maybe add some more of the popular meats?“

“No mention of the lazy river, it’s the main reason I go in the summer. The only problem with it is the loud crappy music so early in the morning. Such a beautiful place to relax… in silence or at least relaxing music. No one wants BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! So early.. lord! 😩 One thing for sure, management won’t listen, maybe it’s to drive older people out of there and into casino to gamble… lol“
