“Flew in from Canada to try corn man.
Thought it was sketchy buying corn from a man in the middle of the night. Turned out to be a life changing experience. 5/7 Corn was as sweet as the dream I had that night. Would buy corn from sketchy man again.“

“Huuuuge portions of really tasty food. This place is a sleeper- great value for LA. The food is prepared with care and the flavors don’t disappoint. I have had the Habibi a few times with chicken and it’s such a good burrito. Cucumber salad was tasty and the Jamaica is really tart ! Just the way I like it.“

“This cart is a great example of what I love about the LA food scene: tucked off the boulevard, in front of the municipal parking, is high quality, hand made food at a great price.
Asked for suggestions of what to get and was suggested a mix of Huitlachoche and Chicharron. The blue masa is pressed and cooked to order, cooked with cheese, and then finally cooked with the fillings. A nice addition to the salsa bar is the cotija cheese which went great with my Quesadilla.
The Quesadilla was phenomenal; the Huitlachoche was cooked well and had an almost stewed like texture that was cut by the saltiness and crispness of the Chicharrons. The crisp cheese and fresh tortilla were great as well.
For $9 this was a great lunch, looking forward to coming back again.“

“Hands down the best wood-fired pizza in town! The crust is perfectly crisp, the toppings are fresh and flavorful, and every bite is pure perfection. Its not greasy and doesnt make you feel gross after. Just perfection. I LOVE this place. Friendly staff and quick service make it even better. A must-visit for any pizza lover! 🍕🔥“
“Its nice to try different culture foods. This year there's a $6 entrance fee, but it's bigger and has more food & retail vendor options. We tried hawaiian, mexican and Korean treats. Be mindful since it's a festival type it's a bit pricey.“

“One of the best places to get tacos in the Eagle rock area. Friendly people who are not bothered by this white girl mis-pronouncing my order 😂
You stand in line, order, then pick up your order at the window. Only issue is there's no parking...you park like a block away, if you're lucky. Sometimes I drop.my son off to get the food while I circle the block a few times. They do not have a parking lot.“

“super affordable and the best authentic mexican food i’ve ever tasted! better than some big time restaurants. The portions are 10/10 on the burrito i just ordered. Food so good I had to leave a review 5 minutes after i was done eating. best part is that they open late if u want late night mexican food
In the picture here me and my mom ordered one FAT carne asada burrito (i requested no beans) and 2 tacos! They have onions and cilantro, limes, sauces on the side if u want some to go with ur food.
I will be coming here again with all my friends“

“These tacos were recommended and Should I say I am thankful I took the recommendation. The Al pastor tacos were delicious. Suadero tacos are good as well. The cabeza tacos are not bad at all. I need to try the rest. I will be back. Prices are very decent especially for the food you pay for. I strongly suggest these tacos.“

“I stumbled across “nugtown” for late food in the area and was pleasantly surprised! Not only was the food made fresh to order - I literally watched him batter and fry them - the owner was the sweetest human who genuinely cared about his services. He even threw in every sauce (which are bomb btw) so we could try and report back. I brought them home to my boyfriend and he couldn’t stop telling people that we found a new go-to spot! Wishing Nugtown the utmost success!! ?
Also PS $20 for 20 QUALITY nuggets!“

“I've passed by this place many times. Sometimes there's limes of people. Always wanted to try their char siu bao. They have both steamed and baked types. I bought both types. I usually like the baked type more. But here both were good but I preferred the steamed ones more.“

“They are the best tacos I've ever had at a good price, and the tortillas are handmade $1.50. The meat is very tasty and don't tell me the al pastor ones are good. I've bought these tacos since day one, they hardly had people, but now what happened here they are full of people that means they are progressing congratulations for the boys,,,,,,, The tacos are very good“
“I got here by chance on a Saturday night, the parking lot was full and the line was long, so I assumed it was good. I am not lying when I tell you that these are probably the BEST TACOS I’ve ever had in my life. If you want to have the real street food experience in LA, this is absolutely it. Its opened every day from 1PM to 2AM. • Llegué aquí por casualidad un sábado por la noche, el parqueadero estaba lleno y la fila era larga, así que asumí que era bueno. No estoy mintiendo cuando te digo que estos son probablemente los MEJORES TACOS que he probado en mi vida. Si quieres tener la verdadera experiencia de comida callejera en Los Ángeles, esto es. Está abierto todos los días de 1PM a 2AM.“

“A hidden gem in Boyle Heights. Don’t let the humble appearance of the place fool you, because I actually l found the front yard house set-up quite charming. You’re not going to get your mind blown by the sights or senses, but if you need to satisfy that basic craving for a good pizza with no frills, this is your place. You can get the “home-made” experience for take out so If you’re in the area I recommend stopping by for this one of a kind experience. Street parking only, but I never had any problems finding parking.
Parking: Street parking only. Parking is easier to find in the adjacent residential side of the neighborhood (when you get off the main street)“

“This spot sells mesquite grilled chicken as a street stall. Prices are reasonable and their seasoning is SO good. Very good street food.
their chicken was charred and cooked perfectly, still juicy with each bite.
Included is: Grilled peppers, some salsa which was light and easy to dip, grilled tortillas, pickled peppers and onions, Spanish rice, and some of the best beans I've had. Beans were smoky sweet and flavorful with chicharron inside.
Would come back for some bomb grilled chicken that's for sure!
Entire chicken and all the sides were only $23. Cash or zelle accepted
Parking: Near the food4less“

“Great tacos and burritos! Rice and beans are very flavorful. Love their asada, lengua and tripa. Just wish they had more salsa options, or at least one that was spicier. If you’re in the area with munchies, recommend you try them out. They take cash, Zelle and Venmo.“

“I had read an article in Conde Nast Traveler about the place so we decided to stop in for a bite. Didn't realize it was "those type of quesadillas", how embarrassing LOL. No worries! Got to meet Gabriella the owner, so nice and invited us to tour the kitchen, even though it was late in the day on New Years Eve. Such a great story with her and family recipes handed down from her grandparents. Worth a stop in! And I imagine calling her in advance she will give you a tour as well...“
“Short Stop Pizza - Thanks a lot !This is the number one dining place I can think of for the best places to eat any meal of the day. They have an excellent variety of food as well as accommodating servers who always put their customer's needs first.“

“Delicious food! Gluten-free very readily available. Seating is outside only and is limited.
We are from Europe and had some difficulty deciding, but we received good help. Just pay attention at the distribution counter, the communication is friendly, but there something went wrong with the order. We started talking to two brothers who also ordered there and know what is tasty. Cozy and excellent food!
Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free food available“
“Had the bowl elote but I should've gotten the Sally's Snack Bar on the cob. The bowl is just too much but eh some ppl might like that. Only 4 stars just cuz of the wait you have to endure other than that he's friendly and would definitely come back!“

“Corner stand, they sell Burritos-10$, Quesadilla-10$, Mulitas-5$, Tacos-2$.
They are the smaller tortillas but at 2$ definitely worth it. Had Al Pastor, Asada, Pollo, Buche, Tripa and Chorizo. They sell sodas and Horchata. Avocado salsa had a small kick, red sauce was very good, had a hint of sweetness. Did not try the green salsa.
They there daily with exemption of Wednesdays, usually in the afternoon into evenings.“
“This is a small weekend cafeteria that supplements a visit to the Norton Simon Museum and it is perfect for the task of refreshing visitors taking a short break from the process of art viewing. We had a roll and coffee each with various less healthy add-ons and then sat admiring the lake, the surrounding sculpture garden and watching people, a perfect mid Sunday relaxation. Service was good and friendly, food was adequate quality and the price was fair.“

“Classic Street Taco stand. Al pastor on a spit, asada, cabeza, lengua and tripas. You can also get your choice of meat over a baked potato. Good is generally tasty, although I thought the pastor was a little oversalted on my visit last night.“
