“I wanted to send something special for my daughter-in-law’s birthday while she and her family were in Disneyland. I found this fabulous bakery and selected them, as I loved their story l, plus they have a 5 star rating. They were so amazing to work with and did exactly what they promised. They followed up quickly and even had it delivered to the hotel along with information and pictures on who they left it with for her birthday. Great service, communication, beautiful cupcakes and they loved them! Don’t hesitate to call them whether you are in town or out of town like us! Thank you!!!“

“We also have Paris Baguette in SD, but this one is much much better! And the food taste much better too! Now we know what we should bring when we visit Disneyland again.

Also the staff Grace F (she can speak Mandarin) is very nice very friendly! I would love to visit again.

“I drive all the way from Las Vegas to get the kunafa and he is the best making it and I am picky when it comes to it . they are super clean and friendly and I will drive again and again to get what I wanted from this great place . and I recommend it highly if you want Arabian sweets . keep up the great work and who ever left a negative comment is someone with a brain issue lol .“

“Starbread has the one and only señorita bread, they make them fresh and they are warm fluffy Salty and sweet 😋 so delicious! If you have not tried you must. They offer different types which includes Nutella, cream cheese, etc. They also have other selections of donuts. You won't be disappointed if you like Vietnamese sweets.“

“Champurrado taste good not too sweet not too sugary or cinnamoney and good thick consistency. Bread was average and did not feel or taste fresh made. Atmosphere was nice when I entered as the older lady owner spoke with her granddaughter but as soon as she left environment got tense and the sweet old lady turned serious 🧐 wouldn’t make the drive again but definitely if in the area looking for champurrado this is a good place to stop.“

“Visited the cookie plug yesterday and just wanted to say I love that the cookies are not obnoxiously sweet like other cookie places I have tried. I tried to Dubai cookie and it was very good. It was cooked all the way through and not raw in the middle. Service was great. The lady behind the counter was very friendly.“

“On Saturday 04/23/22 I bought a small cake, the person who attend me was name jazmin. She mention told me that the cake was tres leches, but when we cut the cake it’s flavor was chocolate. I didn’t think much and decided to keep it. But today 04/26/22 I bought another cake, again jazmin told me that the cake was chocolate bread flavor with mocha. When I cut the cake it’s flavor was vanilla cake with mocha. This time I did call the bakery and explain what happen, they told me to go back and they would give a chocolate cake. Upon my arrival to the bakery, jazmin was rude and didn’t want to give me a cake but instead give me the refund for the cake. On both occasions, she was rude and seemed like she was on a hurry. Would answer questions in regards the cakes with attitude and rudeness. I have been a faithful costumer for years to this bakery, and love the pastries and cakes. But this new person, needs to get better training or be replace.“

“Loved this Red Ribbon location! The Yema Cake was rich, creamy, and perfectly sweet, and the Ube Flan was super moist with a smooth flan layer on top. Classic Filipino flavors done right. Tip: it’s better to order online and just pick it up—it’s faster and more convenient. Definitely coming back!“

“They made my mom’s birthday cake it was a work of art and it was delicious. We chose my mom’s favorite. Carrot cake with a whip cream frosting and custard filling. It was the most delicious carrot cake I ever had! Even family members who exclaimed they did not like carrot cake tried this one and changed their mind it was that good!! We also got a flan pie. Same thing. So delicious. I wish I knew about this baker for my wedding cake but going forward I will get all my pies and cakes here. I highly recommend it!!“

“This is a very welcoming small store. they had lots of choices and we're fully stocked with lots of bread.
The person at the front was very nice and helpful.

“This place is awesome!!! They made my wedding cake and dessert bar 5/26/19. Everyone loved it I got so many compliments on the quality of the cake. The desserts where also a huge hit. As soon as the dessert bar open at 9 it was almost cleared out. We didn't put everything out at once and had to restock it in 7 mins. My daughter even said she didn't get a chance to have anything but a cake pop because it all went fast. Back to the wedding cake, they did such an amazing job recreating the cake we wanted. It was exactly how we pictured it. And was so fresh and moist. My husband loved it and he is not a cake eater hes super picky. Also the fact they are family operated made gives them that intimate connection to there customers that gets lost in most places. This is our new specialty cake spot for sure. “We are from Michigan and my son got married in Brea. I contacted LA Ideal bakery about doing tres leches cakes for the wedding. Not only were they extremely helpful and kind, the cakes were delicious (the best I've ever had) and absolutely beautiful. Great attention to detail. Soany guests complomented how good the cake was. Julie was very easy to communicate with and offered a lot of suggestions. Take your business here. We will definitely stop in next time we are in California and try more goodies from here.“

It may take many baklava places to try, but Sarkis is the premier choice. Baklava melts in your mouth, made with tradition, soul, and love, not what you usually get with any other Arabic pastry shop. The workers never hesitate to help, and are always great with recommendations.

Many shops have dry sweets, but Sarkis always packs with favor and moisture. If a blue moon appears to not like Arabic sweets, Sarkis also has Western-style pastries that are just as yummy.“

“Ordered some snacks at this spot after noticing they sell Korean corn dogs. I always wanted to try one and wasn’t disappointed. I tried the original Korean corn dogs and it was so crispy but soft on the inside. I can only imagine what the potato and hot Cheeto corn dogs taste. I also got a watermelon smoothie which was the perfect combo. Will definitely return to try the donuts and Chinese food.“

“I can't speak for the food as I was only looking for lemons wedges to help with my moms heartburn but I want to acknowledge the awesome customer service of Raya. “Honestly this bakery is very humble, but the bread is very tasty. The staff away makes you feel welcome. Probably the only bakery that opens this late. Perfect when you have unexpected visit. Friday & Saturdays nights they also sale tacos. They are next to a liquor which could be very convenient or not l, depending how you look at it. :)“
