Saw the Guacamole appetizer and were sold! Well, the experience there is even better than the photo. Would give more stars if I could. Miguel Angel was top notch with his service. The food was unmatched. Will definitely eat there again!“

“yes. my girls and I first time eating here. everything was tasty. I got the Costa Azul shrimp, My nieces got, sopes plate, chilaquiles, chicken enchiladas and carne asada nachos. “My friends and I made dinner reservations at Tulum OC and it was by far the best experience. Pedro, our server was so attentive, funny and overall a pleasure to interact with during our dinning experience. He gave us recommendations and guided us through the menu. He also answered all of my questions, which was very kind of him. Drinks: I personally ordered the Spicy Jalapeño Margarita, my cousin ordered the Margarita Flight (Mango, Strawberry, Cucumber Cilantro, and Watermelon), and my friend ordered the Smoked Pineapple Margarita. Overall, the drinks were FANTASTIC! Very delicious! They paired really well with the free chips and salsa (Side Note: THE GREEN SALSA WAS SO GOOD!!) But the drinks were truly perfectly balanced, not overly sweet like your typical margarita. We enjoyed every sip! We can't wait to come back and try other cocktails. Let me start off by saying that I was expecting the fajitas to be very bland, but it was beyond savory! The steak was thick, and every piece was so flavorful. I enjoyed every piece. The Fajita veggies were perfectly seasoned and paired perfectly with the steak. And the guacamole and salsa added a perfect balance to the plate. I would get this again in a heartbeat! The Lobster Enchiladas were a SURPRISE. We truly didn't know what to expect since we've never encountered a plate like that before. But it was quite the surprise. Every bite of the enchilada had lobster in it, which was surprising. And the creamy lobster enchilada sauce was truly a surprising and flavorful treat. It blends perfectly well with the enchilada itself. It needed to be spicy, but we managed with the table green salsa. Overall we truly LOVED everything we ordered and can't wait to bring my parents and grandmother to have dinner here in the future. Shout out to Pedro for being so fun and accommodating. He also brought my cousin a cute detail for her birthday. Truly couldn't have asked for a better waiter. Give this place a chance. It's fairly new and they have a very delicious menu.“

First time here, I asked for a recommendation and went with a wet burrito chorizo. I also asked for a quesadilla and he said it would be too much food for me so I only got the burrito. Once he saw I was about to finish the burrito he asked if I still wanted the quesadilla I said yes. It was a lot of food but I finished it. I will definitely be coming back. Awesome service.“

Portions are plentiful and tastes is solid. A notch below los cholos, nazo, don Goyo etc. I wouldn't drive out of the way, but if you are in the neighborhood stop by

Birria Taco or burrito comes with extra sauce that's spicy and gives extra kick.

My goto is pastor and tripa, you can ask them to make it crispy tripa.

Radish and cucumbers rotate as sides. Red and green sauce , only two, wish they had more. Lime and onions are provided.

Outdoor seating. Lunch and dinner gets busy. 10-15 people waiting busy.“

“This is also Don Carlos #6.I lived near here once, but never really went in. To be fair, I was there only until I learned how to read.It was a pleasant experience. I've heard the bathroom is dirty, though.The portions were great for the price. Plus the sides. I found the burger I had to be a bit weak in flavor, but the basket made up for it. Charlie's Best Burgers wins out on burger flavor slightly, but they lack sides. Big time. Expensive for so little. Don Carlos gets the sides right.Unlike the other two Don Carlos hybrids I've been to, this one has a large focus on the burgers, including an easy to read menu with basket combinations. They're called lunch boxes, and if I were closer, I'd get lunch boxes regularly.The other two places basically assume you know. If you do, you'd ask for a basket combo, but if you don't, you get a basic burger with your combo.This location also has a nice salad. Don Carlos in Fullerton don't carry ingredients to make a proper salad, which is also topped with salsa. Perfect depending on what you're eating, but doesn't compare to this location.The sides are comparative to Varsity Burgers, though Varsity wins out in terms of onion rings. Even so, despite all comparisons, this place is great.Boys Hamburger #5 and Don Carlos #6.Not to be confused with Don Carlos containing Boy's Hamburger #11, in Fullerton.Also not to be confused with Athenian Burgers #3 and Don Carlos #5, in Buena Park.“
