“Authentic Palestinian food prepared by a lovely Palestinian family. My favorites were the kousa makhshi, which is stuffed zucchinis cooked in a yogurt sauce, and the tabbouleh. Loved the kousa so much, ordered an extra one to take home. The service was incredible and they included complimentary pickled veggies. We drove hours to get here and it was well worth it.“

“I’ve been going there many times, and yesterday I saw a girl on the line that I’d never seen before The amount of respect and kindness she showed me was unbelievable She told me I looked really pretty explained everything to me and made me feel so special Even when my card kept declining she stayed patient talked to me and offered solutions Honestly the way she treated me was amazing and I really hope I get to be helped by her again next time I go and I’m really sad that I didn’t get to know her name but overall she had two braids💕“

“this is the best place in the US, in the past 25yrs we finally find a place has the best taste we were raised on.. very fresh, it was ordered for shipping, we didn't have to add any syrup, we just heated up for a little and I can say the neighborhood not only our house smelled knafeh.. thank you so much, we tried the hareseh also very fresh and tasty... can't wait to try the Helbeh and Warbat.. 😍😍😍“

“Shout out to Baran Mediterranean restaurant. We had a superbowl/ 50th birthday party yesterday and everything was literally perfect. Food/staff/ decorations/ cake, everything was perfect. There's nothing I would change or do differently. We had a party of 80 and everyone has been texting today saying how good the food was. Go try them out, you won't regret it. Owners are pretty amazing too, super friendly and down to earth. Thank you Baran!!!!❤️“

“Most welcoming people with delicious food. Couldn’t go wrong with anything on the menu. We tired this place to beat the crowds at Disney land and honestly had a much better and wholesome experience at this restaurant than anything we could have gotten at DL. “I'm a pretty simple gal. Don't go out much to eat, but once in awhile for special occasions. My first time here the atmosphere fit my liking-no mass no fuss. We ordered the family style meal for 7. To my amazement they brought soo much food. So, if you visit this place you better be hungry! Good taste & reasonable. I'm pretty sure I will be going back here soon. Be aware though because this place is across Anaheim City Hall, you have to park at a parking structure, if there is none in the street.“

It may take many baklava places to try, but Sarkis is the premier choice. Baklava melts in your mouth, made with tradition, soul, and love, not what you usually get with any other Arabic pastry shop. The workers never hesitate to help, and are always great with recommendations.

Many shops have dry sweets, but Sarkis always packs with favor and moisture. If a blue moon appears to not like Arabic sweets, Sarkis also has Western-style pastries that are just as yummy.“

“I haven't had too many shawarmas in my life but this was so good. It didn't have too many ingredients but it was tasty! The chicken was soft and it was really good in the soft pita. I had to get one the next day somewhere else just because of it lol“
