“It had been a long time since we had been to Tony Baloney’s. This is definitely an establishment in the region and is a down to earth/hole in the wall environment. This was one of my grandfather’s favorite places to grab a sandwich especially their pepper steak sandwich. We highly recommend a pepper steak sandwich with some of the Carolina sauce on it. “Not sure exactly where to start but this restaurant has some serious customer service issues and that's just one category we were very disappointed in. We ordered online last night to try it out as we saw so many great reviews for the food so we broke from tradition and on my birthday we decided to eat here. All we ordered was a Helen, Cheese Fondue, and the Meatball rigatoni. I received an email stating the food would be ready in about 45 minutes. We left 35 minutes later as it's only up the street from where we live. As we arrive we noticed it's a little corner spot with patrons and appears to be more of a quaint little sit down restaurant and my wife and I thought maybe next time we just come in instead of take out. We stood there for about 2-3 minutes and then guy yells from across the room that he will be with us in a minute. He didn't seem to have anything he was really doing but ok. So finally an older guy comes over and asks us if we have been helped. We told him we were there to pick up our order, and he says he will go check on it. After a few minutes he comes back and says he tried to call us (no record of any missed calls on my phone) and that the rigatoni with meatballs was not available and he wasn't sure how it let us order that online. We don't know either and we definitely know you didn't try calling us to tell us that. Anyways he provided the option for a refund or to make my wife another dish. He mentioned shrimp scampi as the alternative, now the rigatoni was $25 a plate and they didn't even have shrimp scampi on the menu so I was skeptical since usually if they make something good it would be on their menu. So we waited for another 10 minutes for this SCAMpi. I capitalize scam because that's exactly how we felt when they tried to give us this alternative dish and we looked at it. I wish I had taken a picture of what they brought out for $25.... It was literally a small portion of large macaroni noodles, and no more than maybe 6-7 small chunks of shrimp in some greasy sauce that looked totally unseasoned... Gross. I wouldn't feed anything that dish and they should have never tried to replace a main dish like that with something as disappointing as what we received. So I took the container back into the restaurant as we hadn't left the parking lot as I wanted to see first just what they felt was comparable to the $25 we just spent. I found the guy who helped us and just explained that we wanted the refund and the scampi was not acceptable. He said ok and said right after that the refund was already processed. Now to the other food. The pizza was $23 and the cheese fondue was $13. Normally $23 for a pizza isn't crazy, but this was literally the size of a medium if that, and was extremely bare of ingredients. It taste pretty good, but wasnt worth the money at all. I don't eat a lot, and I was able to eat half of this pizza alone without even blinking. The cheese fondue was ok but not memorable. So now today I get up and take a look at my bank account to see if the refund was actually processed, and what do I see? Instead of a refund, I was charged again for that SCAMpi and not actually refunded! I wouldn't dine here again with the lack of customer service, value, and lack of integrity. I will be going back in again to get this straightened out and am not happy about it.“

“Just finished dinner. Had salmon with asparagus and roasted potato. It was excellent. The service couldn't t have been better as my water glass was never empty. refilled 3 or 4 times. Would definitely recommend.“

“This location provides awesome customer service. Reception, manager and staff were friendly and check in with you constantly. Our server Alexa and Heidi ensured our food was delivered on time. They replaced the calamari as it was too salty to my preference with no issue . Suggested the new spicy honey chicken and it was great . I really think it should be on their menu forever. Manager came to check in with us as well . Well this is how I remembered Olive Garden used to be previously in the Bay Area as well . I’m pleasantly surprised that this location still upholds the standard. Food was delicious too. Thank you“

“I was brought here for my birthday. Had a good shrimp carbonara and took a fettuccine home to enjoy the next night. Yum. Service was top notch. The music was too loud and annoying when we arrived. We asked the waiter to turn it down and he did! The meal ended with a delicious dessert, a birthday candle and 3 forks. A very pleasant meal.“

“One Star- The food was not what I expected. The flavors of Italy was not there. The seafood pasta- clams and Musscles, we undercooked, shrimp and scallops were low quality and bland. 0 flavor. Sauce was very lacking in flavor. Couldn't tell if there was garlic in it or not. The bread had a distinct hint of burnt flavor on the back of my tounge. Not sure if you need to request bread or parmesan or what but I saw lots of people getting extra service. I definitely won't be back and maybe thats the point of giving some folks bad food or service is so their kind won't come back? Who knows but mission accomplished. I nor anyone I know will be back.“

“Love this place! I'm so glad it's closeby! The pizza is good but the other stuff is even better! The cheesy breadsticks, wings, calzones and pasta! I'm not a fan of the chicken tenders but they made have changed them because I think I got them during the pandemic when supplies were sometimes hard to get. Staff here is always awesome!!! And prices have not gone up crazy like the other pizza parlors nearby. I love their pizza sauce - it's just a little bit sweet! Also I love the pesto drizzle!“

“I found Crossroads Pizza & Pub completely by accident after randomly buying a Groupon, and it turned out to be one of my best impulse purchases in a long time.

From the moment I walked in, everyone was incredibly welcoming and friendly. I arrived a little early for the live music, but it looked like a great band was setting up, and the atmosphere already had a fun, laid-back vibe.

When I got home and finally tried the pizza, I was blown away—it was absolutely phenomenal. Great atmosphere, outstanding customer service, and amazing food… what more could you ask for?

The overall experience was pleasant, but the service could have been better. At the beginning, a female server was very attentive and checked on us regularly. However, after her shift ended, our server was a male employee who rarely checked on our table. We waited quite a while for assistance, and I even had to ask another server for help when I wanted to request a birthday ice cream.

“While we enjoyed the pizza at this place, they are indeed closed permanently. At 4:00 pm the other day, they did not open and then we saw through the windows all the tables and chairs had been removed. Since there was no signage outside to indicate they were closed, I searched the internet and found an article from mid December, 2025 that they were closing permanently on 12/31/2025.“

“You know I don't give 5s but I tell ya. I walked into this pizza place on a whim and boy oh boy was I impressed!! I have NEVER found or understood the whole New York concept of folding your pizza over until now. My goodness the pizza experience elevated immensely.

The crust with the sauce and pepperoni all flowed and literally melted in my mouth. I always sprinkled red pepper and parmessan but this pizza didnt even need it.

There was a family that came in while I was waiting and they decided to leave. I know they are kicking themselves because this pizza is IT!!

“It’s been a while since we’ve been to The Place, and it will now become a part of our regular places in Roseville. The food and service are excellent. The Place has an old and authentic Italian feel about it. We started with the seasonal caprese salad, which included heirloom tomatoes, and it was wonderful. The rosemary focaccia bread is amazing, and hard to not fill up on it before our pasta. We had the Macceroni e Formaggio and added meatballs and the Boscaiola add Italian sausage. Both were delicious and large servings, leftovers were plenty for another meal. Pretty much everything on the menu looks great. Good selection of wine, beer, and craft cocktails. Next time we’re going to split a salad and pizza; they have a wonderful selection of Neapolitan-style pizza. Overall, a great experience. I highly recommend The Place and encourage making reservations. Enjoy!!“

“The last 4 times I've ordered pizza for the kids have been from Pizza Twist. This is a new favorite and my new go to for a quick pizza. The place is welcoming and the staff is pleasant. The pizza itself is amazing. Personally, I think this pizza is much better than Round Table Pizza or Mt. Mike's, for a more reasonable price.
