“FIve Star Catering is INCREDIBLE!I am not one to leave reviews (I think this is my first ever haha... but I had to this time!I cannot sing the praises of Five Star Catering enough! From start to finish of the wedding planning process they excelled in communicating, understanding our vision, working with our budget, and making us feel so taken care of. The wedding day could not have gone more smoothly. The appetizers were gorgeous and our guests raved about them, the drinks from the bar were so creatively done and the hard huckleberry lemonade they helped us to create as one of our signature drinks was a HUGE hit with the guests! The wedding feast was absolutely delicious. My husband and I were so impressed by the presentations and especially taste of the food. IT WAS SOOOO GOOD. Five Star Catering's wedding food is not your typical "wedding food." We all felt like we went out to a five star restaurant and guests were non stop talking about how tasty all of the food was. The service staff was just wonderful. They were all so kind and professional! Every glass of wine was full, plates were cleared quickly, they switched to coffee and desserts seamlessly, they didn't miss a beat. It was wonderful. And the late night nacho bar was so darn good!! Us and our friends and family were so well taken care of all night. We did not have to worry about a thing on the night of our wedding thanks to Five Star Catering. Our wedding reception was made so perfect thanks to Laura and her Five Star Catering crew! “Mark and his team were wonderful from the start. He was always prompt to respond, kind, and quickly provided any updates to the menu/guest count/linen color change/ etc. We felt so comfortable working with Chef Mark right from the start and that was even more confirmed when we were able to finally meet him on our special day. Mark was adaptable to our decision to move where we were hosting dinner with such a supportive response "It is your day, we are serving dinner where you would like to" with no complaint at all. He arrived a few minutes early to make sure he and his team knew the venue layout and quickly got to work! He was personable making many guests laugh and smile (and even gave them sneak peak tastes into dinner and dessert!). Chef Mark also came down while we were eating to make sure that all guests were satisfied and boy were their smiles on everyones faces! We started with an array of appetizers from olive tapenade to turkey meatballs (my fav!) to ceviche. Our dinner was delicious- chicken, salmon, rice, asparagus, salad, and for dessert, chocolate cake and cheesecake (we ate it all!). All of the food was so good that we were getting texts the next day about all the specifics to our menu from our guests. I would HIGHLY recommend booking with Chef Mark if you want comfortable, reliable, and good vibes on your wedding day!“
“Barbara & Company recently catered our 30-person wedding party at our home. The food, service and care was first class every step of the way. Despite ours being a small event, Marina and her team gave us excellent attention. They met with us well in advance of our wedding to discuss the menu and enthusiastically helped with our choices. Marina advised table ware and linens from Alexis party rentals and made perfect recommendations. On the day, the crew was the definition of efficiency, professionalism and kindness. The food was prepared in a portable kitchen outdoors and it was EXCELLENT! Many of our guests complimented us on how delicious it was and wanted to know where we found such a good caterer. When the evening was over, the kitchen was spotless and leftover food neatly packed. We highly recommend Barbara & Company and will definitely use them again. When we were in the whirlwind of the wedding day, Branddi and her team set aside a few of the desserts to make sure we had a chance to try everything later. You get to choose from a wide range of amazing desserts, and several different options for the display - fit to match your wedding vibe. “Ok my cousins wife got catering from these guys for their kids going away to the marine corps party yesterday & I just have to say I’m eating the leftovers a day later and it is still so amazing. “We booked Feast for a King for a combination birthday/New Years Eve party involving a buffet + passed appetizers + dessert for 50 people. Our planner's menu suggestions were perfect - we got a ton of compliments on how tasty the food was. The tuna won tons topped the hit list, but we also loved the salmon and potato bites. The short ribs were fork-tender and the warm autumn salad was a perfect antidote to the cold rainy weather. We were able to work out even the smallest details, like how to break down unobtrusively while the party was still going on. The crew went above and beyond in not just keeping the food refreshed and the party area tidy, but also chatting with guests and helping clean up spills. All this during an epic rainstorm that knocked out 2 of the 3 roads leading to our house. Would gladly work with them again.“
