Went on the ole Door Dash and saw Backwood Burritos was available! 20 minutes later these piping hot, life giving beauties were on our front porch. Of course it would have been fun to visit Britton in person on this beautiful day at his cart on G Street. But for today this was an amazing option. So delicious and the jalapeños are kicking our colds butts! Thank you!“

“I got the House, Birria and Grilled Chicken tacos. They even served consumme when I asked for it. Amazing food. Meats were juicy and tender. Tortilla was thick enough to soak all the juices without breaking easily. Eat bite was heaven.

Wife got Shrimp and the Mushrooms. She loved it too.

“Hands down some of the best quesabirria tacos in Humbodlt! Shells are crunchy and not overly greasy like every other Mexican restaurant/truck in county. The consume is absolutely dialed in. One of the best parts, they actually give plenty of consume. Nothing worse than getting mediocre consume and then they barely give you enough to dip 3 tacos in. “I really liked the tacos except 1 of them was too spicy. Sorry I can't remember if it was the steak or beef taco. They were pretty busy with so many locals but no one had to wait long at all! It had a picnic table and to the side it had a dirt area that children seem to love playing together at. Very nice people worked there & seemed to go outta their way to help anyone. It wasn't close to the hwy but its worth the drive to get there🙂“

“It's a taco truck on a relatively busy road, so the atmosphere isn't really a thing to be concerned about.I tried a couple of items, a shredded beef California burrito and a carnitas chimichanga.The California burrito was large and the shredded beef was very good, but the filling seemed to be mostly potato (fries). It might have been the way it was rolled, with all of the meat at one side, but that's just how it seemed to me. I don't know if I'd go for that one again or not, it is almost a wash for me.The chimichanga was loaded with pork, the meat was very flavorful, and the tortilla was nice and crispy without being burned. The container ended up with quite a lot of clear-ish liquid though, seeming to be from a combination of the salsa and the fresh tomatoes. This did soak into the bottom of the tortilla after a bit, but it was still delicious. I would definitely order the chimichanga again.“

“Extremely good food, on a road trip so i had some time to scour the internet for good food as we’re passing through different cities. Started to get extremely hungry and decided no matter what we needed to stop in eureka. None of the other restaurants or food spots really stood out it was either poorly reviewed or extremely expensive seafood. Found this place and the food was very well proportioned and extremely good, were from SoCal only 2 hours from Mexico so I’d say we have pretty high regard for Mexican food and this place definitely hit the mark for us.“

“Great food, nice options, fast service and tasty specials to try. We came for dinner and drinks the other night and they had some live music going. The kitchen had a good turnaround time and the food was delicious. I snagged a table while my partner went to order and grab some vino & brew and we settled in to watch the talent while we waited for our buzzer to go off. Just know this is a self serve & bus your own table place so grab your napkins and utensils at the station provided. Easy peasy and fully satisfying.“
