“I took my wife here tonight on our way back home because she wanted her cappuccino blast drink. I drive by this Baskin Robbins everyday but never visited this location because it's inside a gas station and there no left then when exiting the plaza.

When we came tonight an hour before they close, they were not busy at all. There was only one lady working tonight. I got a small strawberry smoothie and my wife got her medium cappuccino blast. It took awhile for her to make our drink but we were understanding. Another guest came after us and waited for the lady to finish making our drink.

Our drinks were good and we didn't have a bad experience here.“

“My wife wanted her Mexican dessert and I looked up a place close to us and saw this location. So I told her to give it a try since it's near us. We found parking easily tonight in the plaza this store is in. When we walked inside, they had people eating inside and 4 people ahead of us in line with only 2 girls working. My wife got the Strawberry and Creme dessert. It didn't take them long to make her dessert but the other customer in front of us took a while since they each got like 4 orders of stuff. My wife said her dessert was okay but the strawberry wasn't that good, maybe it's because it's not in season right now. She like the yogurt and granola though. The inside of this place is like a kids play area because of the colors and decorations.

Parking: This plaza can get busy so be aware because find parking during the busy time can get difficult.

Kid-friendliness: This place is definitely kid friendly once you get inside.

“I’ve been a faithful Van Leeuwen customer for years because, whether I’m in LA or NY or my fave grocery store, I can always get ice cream that fits my dietary needs. They are so patient with letting me try things and they have a comprehensive allergen guide I can access on my phone. Thanks to them, I don’t have to give up ice cream! “2025.06-06_1945: When they first opened, I saw there was a huge line to get in so I didn't want to try it. The first time we went a couple weeks ago, I saw that it wasn't a dine-in ice cream shop like BR and I was relieved. The line went super fast because they have four windows open and plenty of staff. I made the mistake of walking to Handel's and wanting to eat it at home so I really couldn't enjoy my Taro ice cream during my first visit. It was DELICIOUS but I was walking and eating my ice cream. That was just a bad decision. When we visited today, it was perfect.

Parking wasn't an issue and they have a few tables and stools so you are able to enjoy your ice cream immediately, especially on a hot day.

The staff was super awesome, friendly and very helpful. I love the fact that the lovely young lady that assisted us warned us that the Monster Malt was 44 oz. Holy moly, that's huge. We're so happy because we didn't want to go into a diabetic coma as well as be up all night. She absolutely rocked! I was able to sample Handel's Frosted Animal Cookie and the Mister sampled the Black Cherry. In both samples, there were chunks of cookie and cherries.

Today, I ordered the Green Tea and the Mister chose the Bluebery Cobbler 22 oz. malt shake. The Green Tea was delicious and tasted just like Green Tea with cream. The Mister's Blueberry Cobbler tasted exactly like a piece of Blueberry Cobbler with chunks of comforting cobbler crumbles. You'll definitely need to use your straw or a spoon to get the pieces from the bottom of the cup during the final moments of devouring the malt milk shake! So comforting!

We'll definitely be back to try the sorbets and ices. I really want to try the Mango and Mixed Berry sorbets as well as the Lemon Ice!

The pricing to portioning can't be beat. It's more affordable than all the competitors I've visited so it's perfect to take the family for a treat!

“I had an incredible time with Katyna at their Airbnb event. I learned so much and the food was so delicious! She answered all the questions I had in such a patient and gracious manner, I learned SO much. She made the entire process so exciting. She told me so many stories about Fatamorgana and her background, so memorable. She took the time to print out some really helpful information about Gelato and helped put everything into context. “I took my wife to this La Michoacana location tonight because we were in the area and she wanted ice cream. She decided to get the paletas de leche which is the Mexican French Vanilla popsicles. “My recommendation is to come here if you're looking to stock up on goodies for a party, especially during the summer. Things like Piñatas, Ice Cream, Block of Ice (for shaved ice and candy. For things like cups, straws, plates you could find better deals at other big stores. It's more about what you won't find in those places that you can find at Northridge Ice Cream.

During my visit I picked up a big block of ice for $10, big piñata for 20 and some candy.

Overall, this place serves local vendors with ice cream, snacks and anything in between. I visited this place out of curiosity, but ended up leaving with bags of imported candy. A good half of it you can find in big supermarkets like Vallarta, but not all. The variety is good and organization methods. The folks there were very friendly and helpful. It felt like they were happy to have visitors in, but maybe you're just a happy person if you sell ice cream all day.“

The kids chose a lot of toppings including the chocolate and it was fun place, I would have loved to give them 5 stars but they were out of the link Waffle bowls, which he I requested. But they said, it's just gone out of stock. For the quality of the frozen yoghurt, it's an excellent place. And price around 82 cents an ounce, it's worth it. “I I think Kevin is his name but he is awesome. Any place that will help a person with mental disabilities is a plus in my book. A homeless woman came in while I was there and she got a tiny little cup for free and then I gave her $5 and she came back in and ended up getting an actual small cup and filled it to the rim with a few strawberries on top which was definitely over $5 and he still gave it to her for $5 and I think that is amazing. Also they have graham cracker for the yogurt which I feel most places don't have it but is definitely needed with my yogurt.“

“Small shop but quick and clean. Even for its size the shop had 12 machines so 12 different flavors. The topping selection was smaller than other yogurt shops I’ve been to but still had most of the essentials (except for peanut butter and Reese’s peanut butter cups - I only mention because these are some of my favorites). The AC worked great and there was plenty of parking. It’s small inside and most of the people that came in after us took their stuff to go, but there are three small tables for people to sit at inside and two tables outside. The staff were helpful and the store was clean and everything was stocked. They had at least one no sugar added flavor and one sorbet based flavor which I think was non-dairy - unless I misunderstood.“
