“This place is pretty good for quick food similar to L&L BBQ. The food came out quick, was fresh and the people working were nice and friendly. There is limited seating and parking. We ordered the Bento. 1 Teriyaki chicken and 1 katsu chicken. Both came with macaroni, 2 fried dumplings rice and some salad. Overall, this place is yummy for the price! Will come back again!“

“VIM'S is THE BEST Thai food that I've had in Los Angeles. I've been going to their various locations since 1987! I've even celebrated my birthday parties there. The food is cooked to order (spicy to mild) and served family style. I have taken hundreds of friends and co-workers to Vim's for lunch or dinner and it's always a hit! It's still cash only after all these years. The taste and quality of the food has remained consistent over the decades.“

I grew up in Boston eating seafood, lived in Seattle eating seafood, and used to shop at Santa Monica seafood (no shade to them, they’re a solid choice). The only downside is this place is tiny so it’s on-the-shelf selection is limited. But it’s seriously good at very reasonable prices. Plus, if you want to secure something in advance they’ll arrange it for you. Incredibly helpful and knowledgeable folks!“

“Andy’s is a great place to grab tacos or a burrito. We usually get the quesadilla and sometimes nachos to round it out. Great prices, the tacos taste fresh with crispy veggies. It’s the kind of place you might just pass by because it’s tucked away in an old mall but you’d be missing out.“

“This was our first time at Leona’s Sushi House, thanks to a friend who suggested we meet there—and honestly, we fell in love with the place right away. The vibe was just right—relaxed but lively—and we scored the best seats in the house, right by the open-air window on Ventura. Couldn’t have asked for a better spot to people-watch and soak it all in.

Our server was very friendly and made us feel at home. She even joked about losing her voice at the Beyoncé concert she’d just taken her daughters to—definitely a fun icebreaker.

We all went for the Omakase, and it was such a treat. It kicked off with a mushroom miso soup, then halibut sashimi topped with truffles (so good), followed by a couple of trays of assorted nigiri, and then a crab handroll. Even though we were stuffed, we couldn’t resist dessert, so we shared the chocolate lava cake, and banana puff pastry, and brought the caramel flan home.

All in all, it was an awesome night—great food, great company, and a place we intend to visit again.“

“Absolutely love this place! My boyfriend and I live in the area and we love being able to walk to places in our neighborhood. This is definitely a new favorite spot! I rarely write reviews but I had to share my great experience to support this business. The food is fresh and delicious and the staff is very kind.
We ordered the Rainbow and the Spicy Yellowtail rolls for pick up orders through their online website, had a lovely sunset walk during Golden Hour to and from there, and the service was timely and efficient. When we got back home the food was packaged and presented beautifully and it kept well. We thoroughly enjoyed this whole experience and will be happy to order again soon! We look forward to dining in person there as well. Definitely find out for yourself and enjoy this awesome little gem!

“Delicious food! We ordered delivery so I can't speak for the service or atmosphere, but the food was great. We got the loaded fries with chicken, shrimp burrito and mahi mahi burrito. Really nice serving size, especially on those fries. Those things are a meal in themselves. Order got to us correct and with napkins and utensils ready for us. I would say it's a touch pricey, but honestly, that seems like the norm with inflation these days. Enjoyed the good, would try again :)“

Shout out to Julian, an employee, who helped take our order at the kiosk when there was a bit of a wait at the register. We dined in and he checked in to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and had everything we need. 10/10 recommend the food here. The fish, sides, and clam chowder were even better than some of the more upscale restaurants we’ve tried previously. He makes just about everything from his ginger to his soy sauce from scratch even though he’ll tell you, “no soy sauce” for most of the sushi that comes as it should be eaten. Best sushi restaurant on Ventura Blvd by far. Make sure to try his dry aged fish!

Now for the food...fire. I got the chicken tacos (two orders) and my girlfriend got the carne asada tacos. Salsa...on point. Taco size...on point. They have great drinks too!

This place has a vibey atmosphere and I really appreciate them staying open late! There's nothing better than a late night food run for tacos.

We definitely plan on visiting again!
