“VIM'S is THE BEST Thai food that I've had in Los Angeles. I've been going to their various locations since 1987! I've even celebrated my birthday parties there. The food is cooked to order (spicy to mild) and served family style. I have taken hundreds of friends and co-workers to Vim's for lunch or dinner and it's always a hit! It's still cash only after all these years. The taste and quality of the food has remained consistent over the decades.“

“This place is pretty good for quick food similar to L&L BBQ. The food came out quick, was fresh and the people working were nice and friendly. There is limited seating and parking. We ordered the Bento. 1 Teriyaki chicken and 1 katsu chicken. Both came with macaroni, 2 fried dumplings rice and some salad. Overall, this place is yummy for the price! Will come back again!“

I grew up in Boston eating seafood, lived in Seattle eating seafood, and used to shop at Santa Monica seafood (no shade to them, they’re a solid choice). The only downside is this place is tiny so it’s on-the-shelf selection is limited. But it’s seriously good at very reasonable prices. Plus, if you want to secure something in advance they’ll arrange it for you. Incredibly helpful and knowledgeable folks!“

“Andy’s is a great place to grab tacos or a burrito. We usually get the quesadilla and sometimes nachos to round it out. Great prices, the tacos taste fresh with crispy veggies. It’s the kind of place you might just pass by because it’s tucked away in an old mall but you’d be missing out.“

We had a graduation dinner of 40 people scheduled for a dinner downtown that had to be canceled due to protests/curfew. We called last minute to see if Leona’s could take us. We got lucky since it was early it the week. The owner and his team jumped in to accommodate us and were so helpful! We got so lucky. Even though we were a last minute booking, they treated our large group with such care. The staff worked so hard and our evening was perfect! “Absolutely love this place! My boyfriend and I live in the area and we love being able to walk to places in our neighborhood. This is definitely a new favorite spot! I rarely write reviews but I had to share my great experience to support this business. The food is fresh and delicious and the staff is very kind.
We ordered the Rainbow and the Spicy Yellowtail rolls for pick up orders through their online website, had a lovely sunset walk during Golden Hour to and from there, and the service was timely and efficient. When we got back home the food was packaged and presented beautifully and it kept well. We thoroughly enjoyed this whole experience and will be happy to order again soon! We look forward to dining in person there as well. Definitely find out for yourself and enjoy this awesome little gem!

Really nice serving size, especially on those fries. Those things are a meal in themselves. Order got to us correct and with napkins and utensils ready for us. “Leo is the best chef. So kind, personable, and knows his sushi. He makes just about everything from his ginger to his soy sauce from scratch even though he’ll tell you, “no soy sauce” for most of the sushi that comes as it should be eaten. Best sushi restaurant on Ventura Blvd by far. Make sure to try his dry aged fish!

“This was our first time trying Fish Grill and it truly was a fantastic experience. Shout out to Julian, an employee, who helped take our order at the kiosk when there was a bit of a wait at the register. We dined in and he checked in to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and had everything we need. 10/10 recommend the food here. The fish, sides, and clam chowder were even better than some of the more upscale restaurants we’ve tried previously. Everything is tasty and fresh and reasonably priced for the generous portions given. We’ll be coming back again! Thanks!“

Now for the food...fire. I got the chicken tacos (two orders) and my girlfriend got the carne asada tacos. Salsa...on point. Taco size...on point. They have great drinks too!

This place has a vibey atmosphere and I really appreciate them staying open late! There's nothing better than a late night food run for tacos.

We definitely plan on visiting again!
