“This is our favorite spot for a late breakfast/brunch on the weekends. Order a couple of dosas or idlis and filter coffee. If you are still hungry, a fried rice and gobi Manchurian to share. Or some of their fritters. We love their outside patio and can easily spend an hour or two when we are here. It's the perfect lazy weekend experience for us! Love their rose milk and badam milk too.
Oh and I got to say this, I especially love their sambhar. I haven't noticed any veggies except for pearl onion, yet it is very finger licking good! Better than my homemade version with all the vegetables. This might be my favorite sambhar at a restaurant actually. Maybe ever! They have gotten the sambhar powder/masala perfectly.
Request to owner - If it's your own creation, please consider selling the sambhar powder. I would love to try and recreate the same flavours at home. Thank you!“

“ordered the Chicken Biryani and the Chicken Masala, and wow both were absolutely delicious! The flavors were rich, perfectly spiced, and you can really taste the freshness in every bite. The chicken was tender, juicy, and full of flavor plus it’s halal, which is a huge plus.
The portion sizes were generous, definitely great for sharing (or keeping all to yourself if you’re hungry like me). The food came out hot and fresh, and the aroma alone had me excited before I even took a bite. Oh yeah, it’s super cheap too. $10 a plate for huge portions in 2025!
If you’re looking for authentic, flavorful Indian food that hits the spot, this is the place to go. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more dishes from the menu highly recommend!“

“I come here once a month to stock up on Indian food. The frozen curries are enough for 2 or 3 meals each with rice. the samosas are great and the lentil soup or dal is great for protein! I'll also buy a masala Dosa or idli's to eat with a mango lassie before going home. It's a great deal!“

“Even though I don't have much background on Rajshtani cuisine but I loved the Maharaja Thalia. 3 different kinds of lentils were my most favorite. Not sure what their name was. Bit expensive at $30 per person but very well done though.“

“We want to thank Hemal, Hetal, Saumil and the entire Rasraj team for being amazing caterers for our wedding day and reception! Hemal, Hetal, and Saumil worked with us months in advance to create an amazing all-day wedding menu that was unique, delicious, and incredibly creative. They walked us through numerous options and ideas during our tasting with our family and were extremely professional and on top of things on the big day.
The food was absolutely delicious! Our guests couldn't stop raving about the dishes, and we even had family from India commenting that some of the entrees were the best they had ever had. The fun presentations, like drinks and appetizers served pre-ceremony, were a big hit and added a special touch to the event.
Rasraj was fully prepared with all the equipment and supplies and arrived on time, ensuring that no one went hungry. The service was seamless, and their attention to detail was impressive. If you’re looking for amazing catering for your wedding or event, look no further than Rasraj! Thanks so much, Hemal, Hetal, Saumil and the Rasraj team!“

“The food was tasty but there were some disappointments- we asked very clearly for very spicy and I made it clear that my wife is from Thailand and we are both accustomed to eating extremely spicy food. The food was not very spicy at all. I was disappointed by the lack of condiments and chutneys and also disappointed they brought so much bread at once and never offered fresh, so it was no longer warm and crispy by the time we finished. These are things I would overlook at a budget restaurant but this isn’t a budget restaurant. The food was good but I don’t think we’ll be back“

“Curry on Pie is honestly a great find — finally a really good pizza spot in Artesia 🍕 This was my second visit, and it definitely did not disappoint. The location is in a perfect, convenient spot, which makes stopping by easy.
The first time I visited, I tried their vegan pizza, and it was really good 🌱 The pesto pizza slices are also very flavorful and well made. You can tell they care about consistency and quality, which really shows in the taste.
Customer service here is great 😊 The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to offer recommendations. They genuinely seem to care about what they’re serving and about the customer experience. The place itself is clean, and there’s street parking available, which is a plus.
Overall, a solid pizza spot with good flavors, good service, and consistency. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area 🍕🙌“

“Sambar and chutneys were excellent. I was craving something spicy and andra kara masala dosa hit the spot very well. I also liked how it didn't felt too greasy or had an overwhelming buttery taste. However, the dosa came out soft and pale. It would have been a perfect meal if they didn't undercook the dosa.“

“it would be nice if you start sealing the bags. I purchased bunch of farsan and none of the were sealed. The new zip lock bags are poor quality. The food is amazing. It would be nice if it was less spicy. People who enjoy spice just give them chilli paste. Thank you.“
“New, clean and food tastes excellent!
Location of this place is amazing. Quite a small space to dine in but fits in a group of 2-3 perfectly. Best would be to take out.
Pizza was amazing. We tried vegetarian options of Peppy and cheese makhani pizza (with additional paneer). Size and price of the pizza were worth it.
Only point to note was, the service could have been faster. The cashier himself had to bake the pizza. However, he did a great job when the pizza was served.
Overall must try place especially for vegetarian options.“

“Rasraj in Artesia is a gem for lovers of authentic Indian street food. Their dhokla is perfectly soft and fluffy, with just the right balance of tanginess and spice. The variety of chaats is outstanding—bursting with flavor and freshness in every bite. The freshly squeezed sugarcane juice is a refreshing treat, especially on a warm day, and their paan is the perfect way to end the meal, packed with authentic ingredients and a delightful touch of sweetness. A must-visit for anyone craving vibrant, flavorful Indian snacks!“

“Excellent catering experience at Ambala Sweets & Snacks, Pioneer Blvd! Ordered samosas and jalebis for an event—ordering was easy, they helped with quantities, and everything was ready on time. The samosas were fresh and still hot even an hour later, and the jalebis were absolutely amazing. Pricing was reasonable, and the service was thoughtful, including help loading the car. Special thanks to Vijay and the older gentleman for great communication. Highly recommend!“

“Plenty of parking nearby and lots of space inside, with a clean and traditional vibe that makes dining in comfortable.
We ordered the Chef’s Special Paneer Dosa, Chettinad Chicken Curry, Garlic Naan, and the Podi Dosa with Potato Filling the podi dosa was the highlight, absolutely superb!
Prices are around $15–$25 per person, and they also sell a nice variety of spices to take home. The menu has plenty of options, making it a great spot for dosa lovers and anyone craving authentic South Indian flavors.“

“I ordered Aloo Paratha to go, and while the 25‑minute wait was frustrating, the taste made up for it. Back in 2018, when I was in India, I often enjoyed parathas, but I’ve never found that same authentic flavor anywhere else—until today. For the first time, it felt like I got that taste back.“
