“I don't often go to Mexican restaurants but I was invited by a co-worker and I ended up discovering a new favorite to add to the list. I specially love it when they make things that are a pain to make it home. I had a chile verde burrito and was floored by how good it tasted. Just like Mom makes so now I stop whenever I'm in town.“
“Okay, so tell me how I JUST discovered this little ice cream shop last year? My friend and I were craving something sweet, but we don't like any ice cream shops from coalinga. We didn't mind the drive so we decided to Google around. We stumbled upon this shop and decided to give it a try. Well, my kids fell in love with this place too. Speaking to the owners in conversation they mentioned they literally make their own ice cream!! You guys, I am shook! I love their mango ice cream, fresas con crema, cueritos, and torta! I recommend this place guys. I don't mind the drive at all. This place is authentic.“
“The food is authentic, not reheated El Pato from a 303 can. The furniture is plain and the customers know what authentic food should be like. The wall menu prices are out of date, the table service informal. There is no pretending. This is grandma's cooking“

“Food was really good and fresh. I got the roasted veggies and frankly thought they tasted better and fresher than the fajita veggies I usually get at Chipotle. The lady who took my order was very nice and friendly. She took my order quickly and made everything quickly as well. Not a ding on Baja Fresh itself, but the bathrooms and atmosphere here aren't amazing. They're decently clean, but it does feel a bit depressing (though of course this is at a rest stop). I thought the price was reasonable (got a burrito, bowl, and chips/guac for $30). The burrito was filled very generously, and there's a salsa bar where you can get as much salsa as you'd like.“

“I stopped by this family owned restaurant recently and was seriously impressed. You can tell right away that they put a lot of heart into both the food and the service. The place was clean, welcoming, and had a comfortable, down-to-earth atmosphere. The staff treated me like family, super friendly and attentive without being overbearing.
The food came out fresh and well-prepared. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this spot definitely earned it. If you’re looking for a place that cares about what they do, this is it. Will definitely be coming back.“
