“Working in the area, stopped here for lunch! We really enjoyed the food here. The staff was friendly and it was very quick! I ordered a carnitas quesadilla, which in retrospect was a very greesy order. However the flavor of the meat and cheese was outstanding. Very well made product. Also thje burriots gotr thumbs up all around. Torta also got a great reveiw from my buddy. Overall I would say this establishment is worth a try and it wont dissapoint.“

“This place has something called the grande burrito and they mean it this burrito is huge it can easily feed 2 people twice for just under 20$ and it's good you can order it anyway you like it if you ask them to thay will cut it in half and put it into two containers for two people I have a friend that is lactose intolerant and if you tell them they will put the cheese and dairy on the side and a little container so you can choose to add it or not me and my fam always give them a complicated order and they usually always get it right if thay don't they fix it in my opinion it's a low priced option to eat a lot of halfway healthy food in this day and age“

“I'm like a food critic, and I'm from Alaska, and I came to this place from a gentleman named Vito Martinez who recommended this place to try out and introduce me to the owner. I have massive high-quality taste buds for tacos ? and more on the menu to try out. They chilaquiles Rancheros are by far the best I've tried in Bakersfield so far since I've been here for about a month, and they customer service is well mannered and helpful with a warm smile greeting, I'm a BIG fan of guacamole, and it tasted just like homemade of the way it should taste. The tacos has an amazing crunch and unique light flavor stuffed taco that I really enjoyed, and the Enchiladas de Mole was on point and the Shrimp Cocktail was a mouth watering flavore with unique texture and very big chonky mix all in one Big Cup, overall very fulfilling due to the massive portions?, so overall what I tried so far was perfect massive portions for just tacos for the right price to have a happy belly of enjoyment. If you wanna enjoy they food and stay cool from the heat, then come inside and park or walk here and enjoy the amazing atmosphere they have and the clean environment while dining in. They salsa and condiments are really homemade flavored salsas with a perfect thickness, so it doesn't run down my hand while or make a mess while enjoying my food. I highly recommend them for when you're hungry or family dine in or if you're in a hurry. One recommendation I would request is big flyer singns or lights of a guid to the restaurant when people drive by on the main roads for a more viewable seen and attraction. Wonderful experience here and they have karaoke on Taco Tuesdays and Fridays, and I'll be for sure coming back for more and other food to try on the menu. It's perfectly hefty and incredibly satisfying. An easy 5/5 stars for breakfast supremacy. Customer service and speed of service were great.“

“Came here today for the first time. I was debating between chicken or ribs. The cashier/owner was friendly and helpful explaining menu items. I bought two whole chicken family meals with all the sides. Chicken and salsa were on point. The owner ended up giving me two free large ribs for my wife and I to try, oh man, meat fell off the bone. “I am so fortunate to live nearby the Arizona Cafe, some of the best and most consistent menudo in town and personally the one restaurant I have been able to count on for good, simple menudo that is pretty close to what my abuelito used to make. Over 20 years it’s been the same simple indulgence that I have firmly come to know as a staple in my life. Really appreciate the simple food and the simple service even on busy Sunday brunch days. Thanks for being a cornerstone and my go to menudo spot since I was a kid. With or without a hangover, it’s very good.“

From their delicious, flavorful, mouth watering and award-winning carna asada tacos, to their seafood/aquachillies food; you'll come back every day begging for more! My family and I fly out to Bakersfield 3 times a year to visit family. When we fly in, we visit this taco truck every day, 5-7 straight days in a row to partake of this beautiful and tactfully prepared food truck. Sometimes we go here twice in one day (not kidding, good is that AMAZING). Food: Mouth-watering, juicy, and lots of flavor that has your mouth, tongue, mind, and stomach craving more! Service: The people that prepare the food are super nice, clean, and have high standards for the food they cook and serve. Atmosphere: Getto surrounding. They have benches with covered eating area. If it's cold outside, there are no heat lamps at all. Don't come here for an eloquent night out; come here for the incredible and delicious food! If I lived in Bakersfield, I'd go here 7 days a week. UPDATE: I fly out from Arizona to Bakersfield just for a day to eat lunch at this place (yes, either I'm crazy OR this is the GREATEST mexican taco food truck in the universe). I'm a big mexican taco truck lover, but this taco truck takes the win for the most flavorful mexican food ever! Food & FLAVOUR: Heart stopping, mouth watering, and tons of flavor that make you beg for more food. They must put drugs in their food because I'm addicted! Try their carna asada tacos and make sure to also try their aquachillies plate! Location: This taco truck is on the corner of Mt Vernon and Brundage. Be careful though, there's 2 taco trucks on this corner. Price: Comes out to $1.00 per carna asada taco. It's $5 for a plate of 4 carna asada tacos and rice and beans (great deal). “We visited La Costa Mariscos and overall had a pleasant experience at first. The food was good, especially the steak fajitas, and the drinks were enjoyable as well. The live music was a lovely surprise; the gentleman playing guitar and singing romantic songs really added a sweet, charming atmosphere to our evening.
The service itself wasn’t bad, but I was expecting it to be faster and a bit more attentive. Even so, the good food and music initially made us consider giving the place a second chance.
However, after our visit, I decided to give them my feedback so I read more customer reviews and came across several comments from other guests mentioning sightings of roaches. Finding multiple reviews with similar concerns is very unsettling and disappointing. Because of that, we’ve decided not to give the restaurant a second opportunity. Cleanliness is extremely important, and it’s unfortunate to see repeated complaints about this issue.
I hope the restaurant addresses these concerns, because the food and atmosphere have a lot of potential—but cleanliness and proper maintenance are non-negotiable for us!“

Food is always on point and consistent and hasn't gone up too much w everything else going up. Fast service. Can't say enough. “If you LOVE chilaquiles then this place is for you! It’s a small food truck.

My husband ordered the chilaquiles plate w/ chipotle sauce, asada meat, 2 sunny side eggs & the toppings they offer minus cilantro & he really loved it he said it was the right amount of spice without over doing it.

Now they do offer tacos & tortas as well but I would stay clear of ordered just a torta as it doesn't have any spread nor the bread to meat ratio is way off. I felt like I was eating more bread than anything else. My mom got 2 tacos & she also said they were okay for the most part. So that's why I would just recommend the chilaquiles since my husband seem to enjoy his meal the most.

Besides the food, they do have a little shop where you can sit and eat, it's small but it will do. When we went it wasn't busy so there was room for us to sit & also it felt nice inside not hot at all. The food did take some time to get to us but they had the tv going and our conversation with each other flowing we didn't notice how long it took.

Anyways if we're back would be just for the chilaquiles but might be awhile until we're back as we're not usually on that side of town.“
