“I was a client that came here awhile ago about 4-5 years ago and I did not like the food. I stopped coming for that reason. I decided to give a second chance and everything changed for the better. “This place is located in the plaza where Tokyo Central Market is located. The lunch special menu was very extensive. I tried the pig hock rice dish and it was decent, but the lean portion of the pork was bit tough to chew. Each dish came with a salad, but no dressing?!? There were also a good variety of hot pots for $15, which nowadays is reasonable. The service was friendly and efficient. Overall, it was a good lunch and we will return to try other items.

“I'm a huge fan of charbroiled burgers, right? I was in the area, so I decided to check out this place. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger combo, and let me tell you, it was bomb! The burger was grilled perfectly, and the char flavor mixed with the bacon and thousand island dressing was insanely delicious. The fries were perfectly salted and had so much potential, but they had a slight aftertaste of old, burnt oil, which was a bit of a bummer. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'd definitely make the 10-mile drive again to try their other food and have another one of those burgers. Trust me, you won't regret it!“

This is Chinese food that caters to one type of person: the person who wants Chinese food but healthy, not greasy, without MSG. So if you’re the type who always thinks Chinese food is too greasy and heavy, this might just be the place for you. Because of this though, the flavors don’t taste as authentic.

XLB (pork): too sweet for me but the skin is very thin and so overall it’s not bad

Pan-fried pork bun: amazingly crispy bottom. No juice on the inside but flavor is good (not sweet like the XLB).

Potstickers (pork): definitely was not fried with much, if any, oil. Wouldn’t order this again.

Beef noodle soup: broth is very light but has decent flavor. Wide noodles are GREAT.

Gua bao: definitely not greasy and it was pretty big too. Flavors are fine.

Overall the food is not bad, but nothing I would go out of my way to have. The service is great, very nice staff both times I’ve been, and the place is extremely clean.“

“I happen to go to the tea place next door and saw this place and the menu caught my attention. I was fascinated by the port cutlet and the nice Japanese omelette over the rice with curry. I walk in and I get greeted by the lady who is so nice and friendly. Ordered the pork cutlet with rice and egg omelette and it was delicious

Cutlet was nice and crispy combined with the curry sauce. The was nicely done and added a twist to the rice. Definitely coming back here again. Friendly staff work here“

The chicken was mediocre , the soup stock tastes like warm water which is really puzzling with all the chicken that they served. The 2 dipping sauce were not enough for the entire chciken plates. The house salad was healthy (not just iceberg lettuce) and had a generous portion for one person. My friend said it was super delicious - Sunset roll, blue crab roll, and miso black cod were on point flavor wise. “Loved the hotpot here. Lots of variety and you can pick an choose to your hearts desire. The free side bar has plenty of sauces and dips to choose from. Good selection of deserts and fun foods. The restaurant itself is dressed in a vintage Chinese Cabana style decorand there are a few divided cabins you can sit in besides the main floor. Adds a little bit of ambiance to your dining experience. Service is very exceptional and fast. They are very attentive and alert to all your needs and requests. Very polite and professional. Hotpot can be very monotonous but the different dishes they offer here will surely satisfy anyone's craving whether it be meat, veggies, seafood or other exotic dishes they offer. First time here for me and definitely my new hotpot hotspot.

The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside!! It came with green onions and tempura flakes on top. The curry was tasty and had a great consistency. Very delicious and a nice option for an udon eatery. I added to my meal from their tempura selection: zucchini, potato and egg. All delicious and crunchy!
I'd give it a solid 9 out of 10. It definitely satisfied my craving.

The only problem I had was they charged a micheladas triple the price ($18) instead of happy hour price ($6) they had the sign on the table for happy hour Mon-Fri and said it is not correct they have it until Thursday they need to remove that sign.
