“The atmosphere was OK because there were musicians in the restaurant and they were extremely loud. To the point you could not hear the person next to you. Service is great, food was delicious, the mezcal old-fashioned was good too. I hope this place does well , I will definitely go back to enjoy the food. Probably earlier in the day when the musicians are not around.“

“Came hungry, came thirsty, and came in need of a good spot to let my creativity flow. This is it. This place has it all. The ambiance gets you set to sit, relax, and unwind. The drinks are on point, delicious and well served. The service and welcoming environment is just the beginning. Food is gourmet, lighting is perfect, service is amazing, and the rest; well, come and find out for yourself. Great experience. I'll definitely be a returning visitor.“

“ITS A REALLY COOL, CHILL SPOT TO HAVE A FEW BEERS AT. THE BARTENDER LADY IS THE BEST. SHE IS ON TOP OF WHATEVER IT IS THAT SHE HAS TO DO. MY BROTHER AND WILL GO EVERY OTHER WEEK. WE'LL HAVE A FEW BEERS AND PLAY ON THEIR DART MACHINES. IT'S A REALLY GREAT ENVIRONMENT IN THERE ALL THE TIME. “We have dined here a couple of times when we come back to visit family. We are never disappointed. The food is quite good. Portions are on the larger size, so expect to have leftovers to bring home (or just go nuts and indulge).
However, the dinning room is comparatively small and not intimate. That isn't that big of a deal, but you should be aware of it going in. I would recommend a reservation if dining later in the evening. If you arrive earlier, they can usually seat you.
Parking is on the street (but that is par for the course in Sierra Madre), but be prepared to have to drive around a little to find a spot.
The only negative was on our last visit. The front of house was clearly understaffed. The one waiter was doing double duty as the bar tender. So, speed of service was not on the menu.
A solid choice for dining and will we will undoubtedly visit again.“

“This place is somewhat outdated, however even with that being said, it's a nice atmosphere. Our waitress Sylvia was extremely attentive. She always had a smile! We never had to wait very long for our drinks or dinner. Bathrooms were very clean?

“I just love this place. Since like forever. I love how it can be 100 degrees outside but you step inside and it’s a cozy winter cabin. I really only come here for the salad and bread but I will say I’ve had the small steak the last couple visits and it’s amazing.“

“I was there for a 30 yr old birthday with a friend and it was a nice atmosphere Kareoke was good lots of nice voices ( I can make a choir out of them) LOL. All in all it good. But I left early cause I don't like staying out to late so 10ish was a good time to go home.“

“This was a nice little joint I happened to come across looking for a locals style restaurant. I showed up a bit after 5, so it wasn't to busy yet. The tv near the ceiling as a list of all the beers available on tap. Some of their beers are not my type, but that's fine. When you sit down, you have 2 fermentation tanks in the dining area that makes for a neat experience. The beers are pretty decent. They do have a happy hour, but I'm not sure of the times. I did order the bratwurst, it was ok. I do think the menu should be expanded, as there wasn't much to choose from. Several photos from years back showed a significant menu; but not anymore. Overall I'd come back. I enjoy the small atmosphere and the locals feel that is involved.“
