“Very busy, yet very well run restaurant. We were there with a group of 18 last night, and in the pouring rain they were swamped. We had 2 excellent servers and the manager kept coming up, making sure we were well taken care of. The Stuffed Chicken Marsala was superb.“

“The best pizza I habe ever had glad I grew up in La Puente. I have overnightes pizza to friends and family in other states from here. Pizza in NY cant touch scardinos and comparing any other pizza to scardinos pizza is extreamly unfair to the other pizza as its in a class of its own. When I was a kid I remember one of the older italian owners at a grocery store complaining to tge manager that the freshness and quality of one of the I'm ingredients was not fresh or quality enough. I dont recall exactly. But I knew when I grew up to own a business I would be that crazy about quality. This is a family own and ran business and I cant express what this place and the food means to our community. We are so very lucky to have them! You have never lived until you have had scardinos pizza or tried one of everything on the menu and I mean this from the bottom of my soul. -SGV“

“This place is like Subway, but with pizza instead of sandwiches (and much fresher ingredients). They have a menu of pizzas, but you can customize all of your toppings as you watch a staff member put it together for you every step of the way - from saucing to firing it up in the pizza oven so it comes out fast and hot. The crust is consistently perfect (thin and crispy), there are a ton of fresh, quality ingredient options, and the flavors are amazing. This is a place I have frequented for years and I can honestly say that I have never had a pizza I didn't like. I've tried a handful of them, but my go-to is the green pie (pesto basil sauce, mozzarella, feta, zucchini, eggplant, artichoke hearts & fresh tomatoes). My husband does not like vegetables too much, but even he has learned to let them make it as-is, without customizing it, because it is SO GOOD! The chicken wings are juicy, meaty, and delicious. The salads and Mediterranean plates are great as well (chicken/beef kabob, falafel or chicken shawarma served with rice, salad, hummus, pita bread, and garlic sauce). There is even a dessert counter where you can usually find an assortment of treats like macarons, Dubai chocolate bars, and Baklava. They also serve beer (bottled and on tap).

Aside from the great food, the place has a great ambience with a large & spacious indoor dining area as well as a large shaded patio area in the front (facing bustling Citrus Ave), big screen TVs, and even a little game machine for the kids. They do a great job of keeping it all nice and clean. A small touch I really appreciate is that they conveniently keep extra plates, silverware, condiments, and to-go boxes out in the front so you can use as much as you need without having to ask for them.

On top of all that, it's in a prime location in downtown Covina so there is plenty to do if you have some time to walk around. Great for families and casual date nights.

To go with the food prices is a great pizza! Way better than expected. The $8.99 for 2 slices and a soda is perfect for the after school kids to meet up after school. My son said it was some of the best garlic toast he's ever had too. I will be returning.“

They even have a window to the kitchen so you (or your kids) can watch the magic happen in the kitchen. The first time I went there I was reminded of my Dad and my time in Palermo. “Great place to stop and have a bite to eat , they serve beer and absolute kind service, can get busy during the weekend and parking can be difficult, but their is a parking lot across the street for local patrons visiting the village eateries that are here in the area. Great atmosphere with people very courteous, overall a great area to visit .“
