The service is quick and amiable, and the food is well made and delicious (from what I've tried at least). My friend loves the egg flower soup and broccoli beef. I enjoy the orange chicken as well as some of the sides. Definitely recommend visiting, and there's also some good choices for dessert nearby.“

“Plenty of seats. Extra like fifty cent charge for cards. Lady barely seem to speak english. Food taste a lil cheap. Got the mixed veg and fried rice. It was ok. Steam table food. The thing with these type of places is that the veggies taste clear/fake or something lol paid 15 with extra side of broccoli. Try it out if u will. Id go back last. I can remember try out favorite classic dishes like the original orange chicken,broccoli beef and other item we enjoy including new items that Panda Express interduce. “The best “Chinese food” (in this case, actually Szechuan) in all of LA. This place has been around for years and it’s actually gotten better since Covid. Large shareable portions, reasonable prices, great service (they even pack up your to-go), and most importantly legit awesome flavors. The green beans are a favorite, and we recently loved the cold green pepper oil chicken and veggies on skewers and tomatoes with egg. You can’t go wrong here.“

“This place is different than other Chinese food. The flavor is unique in its own. But don’t compare their spiciness with the likes of Chengdu or Hunan…it’s milder and delicate in fragrance. If you eat super spicy, don’t come here because you will not get the heat fix you want. If you want to experience different kind of taste and explore different kind of Chinese food this is the place. My kids even enjoyed it. The service from bottom up is awesome, patient and accommodating.“

“Had lunch at Jade Wok near Chinatown and honestly, it hit the spot. The standout for me was definitely the sweet and savory spareribs. They’re sticky, flavorful, and perfectly tender with just a bit of chew. Exactly how you want Chinese-style spareribs to be. The glaze is rich and garlicky with a nice hint of sweetness, and the green onions and sesame seeds on top gave it a nice little pop.

We also got the stir-fried greens, which were super simple but fresh and cooked just right. A little crunch, a little tenderness + great as a balance to the heavier dishes.

And the braised tofu with minced pork came in a deep, savory sauce that soaked into the tofu beautifully. The tofu was fried just enough to give it some texture on the outside while staying soft inside. Super comforting.

It’s not a fancy spot, but the food comes out hot, portions are generous, and everything tastes like it was cooked with care. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area and want that classic Chinese comfort food vibe.“

The service was absolutely 5-star and fast! We were encouraged by the fact that most of our fellow diners were Asian, and there was a steady flow of traffic. I can't get over these egg noodles in this wonton mein! seems like most places serve it up clumped together and you need to split your chopsticks to break them apart - BUT NOT HERE. they are silky and bouncy! and the soup is nicely flavored, enhancing everything in the dish. you also get four big wontons filled with plump shrimp and pork. I also love their hainan chicken, well seasoned, and the filet mignon has a nice kick.

Nice selection of traditional asian dessert options in individual serving sides (tofu pudding with ginger syrup, "che thai", ube tofu, etc.) and they also sell their wontons/dumplings frozen + noodles in packages.

“We ordered the signature beef hotpot set, the oyster pancake, a pork claypot, and a soup noodle. The beef cuts and the pork meatballs are unique. They all tasted great and didn't suffer from a dreaded common occurrence where every dish tasted the same, like it's made from one sauce. Service was pretty good too. Price wasn't too bad, $115 before tip for those said items. As far as I know, this is the only place that serve this style of beef hot pot (one reviewer said otherwise). Place is kinda small so i can see waiting maybe an issue, the Parking space is right just for the amount of tables they have.“

The vibe was classic and nostalgic: red carpets, framed press clippings, a very cash-blessed Buddha at the entrance, and servers who move with the quiet efficiency of a place that’s been doing this right for decades.

We ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and the fried pork chops with jalapeños — both excellent. The noodles were perfectly chewy with a subtle smoky wok flavor, not too oily, and generous with chicken and vegetables. Service was kind and fast. Portions were generous. Prices reasonable. There’s something reassuring about a restaurant that isn’t trying to be trendy — just consistently good.

“This restaurant is very affordable, every dish looks big and is packed with great flavors.

If you come to this place with a group, there is a mandatory tip so don't get surprised by that (it will be included in your check).

I got various items from the menu, some of the highlights were the garlic and shrimp fried rice and the Chinese sausage fried rice.

The service was great and included tea. My party kept drinking hot tea and the waitress was always on top of it and refilling it. Even when we finished our meal and we were just chatting amongst each other, the waitress still offered tea, it was a very nice gesture and made us feel welcome to stay more.

Pending on how much you eat, I recommend getting the number of plates = the number of people in your party. If you cannot finish everything, they offer boxes to take out the rest of your food. I recommend dining in, it is clean and spacious.

The only bad thing is that some members of my party went to the bathroom and it was not clean, one of them even said that it ruins part of the experience. For the owner: Please clean the restroom, it would have been a perfect experience.“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lee's BBQ & Boba Chinese Food. I was thoroughly impressed! The flavors are absolutely delicious, with each dish prepared perfectly. The meats are tender and flavorful, and the variety of options on the menu made it hard to choose just one. I highly recommend the chicken Chow Mein and the dumpling soup — they were simply outstanding!

“I googled "best Chinese in LA" and then this popped up as the #1 place. So we drove - and had a very good meal. However, if you expect the classic Chinese dishes, you will be disappointed. This is Shezuan, "a different animal". So no rice, no sweet-and-sour-this-and-that. So be prepared for very spicy Szechuan food. Noodles. No rice. Try the dumplings, they were delicious. We ordered mild (1 out of 5 spice degrees) and we were burning inside (we had two separate orders of dumplings - but spice grade 1. There is no consistency, so be careful). So if spicy is what you are "in" for, you'll love it. The ambiance is sort of authentic ;-) - the sign on how to use the toilet (outside the restaurant in the alley) says more than words. But then, it was $100 all-in for the four of us only. My advice: I could barely understand the service language. Better check the menu before you go. As we were first-timers, I wanted to share three starters and three mains among the four of us and leave it up to the waitress to make us explore - she did not understand. I asked if they served beer. The answer was "noodles or dumplings". :-)“
