“Had jalapenos chicken & mongolian pork today with a take out container of that bomb curry chicken !!Chill vibe friendly customer services here & spacious parking for all vehciles including bob tailed trucks ( truck & trailer can park on the side of the streets near by )The Curry chicken so good ... i had to drive 115 miles just to get some hehehe“
“Service - the service was fast and friendly. The representative was nice with how she carried herself. At that time they didn't have water so she offered a small drink as complimentary.Quality - the food was warm and at a great temperature. The food also was season correctly. I ordered the big plate which comes with 2 entrees and 1 side. The orange chicken was good, lo mein was amazing and the super greens were also good.Cost - the price of the plate was less than 12$ in which made me happy. I was able to eat at a low cost. It is definitely budget-friendly.“
“This was one of the two places i visited on new year's and by far the better of the two restaurants! So happy with their lu rou fan!!! Realmy brings me back to taiwan. The other dishes: dumplings, tantan noodles were on par with what I've eaten in Taipei and Tainan, and dare I say better. The only difference being the price, nearly 10x, but that's the reality of living in LA.My friends were happy as well, and it was a great way to introduce some of them to my culture as well. Thank you Pine and Crane!“
“The Real Deal. From the hot and sour soup to the orange chicken, honey walnut shrimp, garlic green beans, eggplant, lo mein, it’s got it all-we’ve been twice after a Kings game and have not been disappointed- we over order just to get the variety of flavors in our mouths. The food is fantastic, the staff is genuine and gets the importance of hospitality.“
“Place is always wonderful. Spacious, fast, and clean. This branch is particularly great. Individual pots, lots of variety and fast servicePeople are very nice here and are very attentive. Cannot as for better service.Food here is always great. They come out very fast and they always have fresh food.“
“I am a picky person when it comes to eating out. When my sister said a noodle house I wasn’t sure about it. But I decided to really try it. Well it was great I would recommend this place and go back again. Quiet little place in Arcadia. Very clean. Very helpful servers and reasonably priced.Parking: Behind restaurant plenty of free parking.“
“A bit pricey, but it's an excellent Pho restaurant. Food are really delicious ? Parking might be difficult. Tiny plaza with narrow parking spaces. But people come and go quickly... I took out 1 ⭐ for their parkings. Really hate their parking.“
“My go-to spot in Chinatown Los Angeles for Pho!Very quick prompt service. This place tends to get filled with hungry, happy customers pretty rapidly.Don't worry, just tell them your party size and they'll get to you sooner rather than later. IT'S DEFINITELY WORTH THE WAIT! With quick service, you'll be seated in no time.I've been coming here since, like 2012.There is street parking and some parking lots around. So you have the luxury of choosing your perfered parking. Basically, there's free parking and paid parking all around the restaurant.Treat your stuff to some amazing Pho, and lasty, don't forget about the spring rolls with peanut sauce for appetizers !My girlfriend is vegetarian, so she ordered #22 on the menu: vegetarian tofu with rice noodles or egg noodles. Size small or regularI ordered the #15: well done brisket, fatty brisket, tendon, and tripe. Size largeWe prefer to get the rice noodles!Vegetarian options: #22 on the menu is vegetarian tofu with rice noodle or egg noodle Pho“
“The food at Henry's restaurant is delicious, with top-quality ingredients. You can't get enough of the Vietnamese lobster noodles, and the beef tenderloin melts in your mouth. It never disappoints. You can try it, you will definitely like it!“
“I love trying new vegan places but finding a new one where you would least expect, is awesome! Showed up around noon and the place was empty. The employees were really courteous and helpful and recommended a few items I should try which made ordering an easy choice. We (family of 5) ended up ordering 2 Chinese combo plates and a taco plate (one of each). Took about 15-20 min to make which isn’t too bad considering I didn’t call ahead. The Chinese food was good but the Taco plate was excellent!!! Definitely going back to try out more of the Mexican dishes. Plenty of parking.“
“Authentic Chinese food specializing in noodles. Beef and pork on the limited menu, no chicken.House special fried noodles with pork was excellent. Also had pork meatballs and cilantro pork dumplings. All excellent and a nice proportion.Only 6 tables, luckily 1 available when we arrived at 1:20 pm. We will come back.“
“If you haven’t been here before the setup might be confusing. You should head all the way to the back, go to the cashier, tell him the number of people, get a table number from him, and then get a bowl and start putting stuff you want in the bowl. The bowl is weighed and charged by the pound, but you don’t pay until you’re done eating. Then you hand the bowls to the cashier to order what type of soup you want. They hand you order numbers and you go to your table and just wait for them to bring you food. You can also make sauces at the sauce station. When you’re finished, bring your bowls back to the front and pay. Also note that you get one tong for picking up all the foods, so if cross contamination is a concern or you have food allergies, this might not be the best place to go.The lady in the front was not helpful and just shouted Chinese at us and acted like we were in her way for not knowing the rules. Some of the customers tried to help us too, but they should really just post the rules outside the store or in front of the front door to help newcomers. I think if you look East Asian, they will assume you speak Mandarin, so you should mention that you don’t speak it to clear the air. The rest of service was fine and nice, just the initial confusion didn’t feel very good.“
“This skewers are very fresh. We chose tomatoes and medium spicy mandarin duck pot at the bottom of the pot. There are many varieties of beef skewers. The friends gathered with the mentality of trying casually, but I didn't expect that the quality was very good. We will come back regularly!“
“I absolutely love this restaurant. It's a must stop for my daily when we are in town. Food is amazing and super cheap. The staff always remembers us when we come back.Parking: Parking lot in the back and parking on the street. Both are free.Kid-friendliness: High chairs and boosters provided.“
“They have the best xiao long bao! I tried XLB at other restaurants and it's not the same. I also love their friend rice, spicy wonton, spicy noodle, cucumber salad, and taro desserts! Besides the good food, the service is also excellent. Although, the wait can be really long! So make sure to make reservation or come right when they open to avoid the long wait. There's also yelp waitlist so that might help with the wait a bit.“
“5⭐ specifically for the Boon Boon Noodle - Pork. Perfect sauce, perfect texture, absolutely nothing to complain about. Solid 4⭐ for Chicken rice 2.0.Not sure if the tea ceremony was worth it, but it's fun to do it once. I actually enjoyed their regular tea more. The Aged pear was a fun one.Cute space, accommodating staff, and you can make reservations with Google assistant, which is great for busy (or lazy, like me) people ?.“
“Definitely my *fave* hotpot spot in LA right now! Their soup broth is so hearty and the meat is beyond fresh!!! High recommend the spicy, tomato and bone broth combo. As for the dishes love love love the fried pork, fresh pork meatballs, beef short rib and pork belly! Totally skip the beef balls and hand cut beef.“
“So good! We had the spicy beef soup with wide noodles, the chow mein with triangle noodles, and the pork burger. All were very good! The beef noodle soup was great and the chewiness of the noodles was fantastic. Will have to return and try many more things. The chili oil was on point. The man who took our order was very friendly.“
“Had an excellent weekend lunch experience here! Boston Lobster Seafood is the type of place that lets the food speak for itself. I love the large family dining setups, easily allowing groups of 10 or more, equipped with dinner-turntables / lazy Susan’s!I love that their lunch specials (11:30-4pm) apply on the weekends as well, and we got a steak order from that menu. However, it was clearly the lobster that won our affection, perfectly spiced and cooked, presented with endless ginger, green onions, and jalapeños. Other notable standouts include the mapo tofu and gai lan (Chinese broccoli).Would definitely recommend this place and will be back!“
“We went for dinner on the earlier side with four adults and four kids. It was delicious! The staff were kind and accommodating. We got the rice bowl, noodle bowl both with ground pork, my brother got the Taiwanese beef bowl and he loved it. The kids liked the plain noodles, and it's nice you can add sides like egg and bok choy. The pot stickers are nice too. Everyone enjoyed the food! Really good and would love to go back soon.“
“Read about this place in the paper. Bae and I are always saying things like "we should explore the culinary delights of the sgv" but are often intimidated because we don't speak Chinese and have little familiarity with the cuisine beyond the white people Chinese restaurants of our respective coasts (she east, me west). We ordered from the internet even though we were there because we had our dog with us. The noodles were extremely, extremely good, the other ingredients (beef, chicken, veggies) were pretty standard. If i was to return I just get noodles straight up, I feel like the other stuff just distracts from the main event. Bae couldn't eat hers because she comes from a place (new england) where people say stuff is too spicy because there is PEPPER in the dish. Like, the pepper you have at your house. I cooked a dish with pepper once and her mom wouldn't eat it for that reason. Also the service was good, they actually called us because they were out of something we ordered and wanted to make sure they gave us a refund or something else.Unless you are a monster two people can split one dish here, any dish. If you order more than one dish per two people left overs are a given. Also, we drove around for an hour before we got home and the food was still warm.Vegetarian options: Noodles! Tofu!Dietary restrictions: Gluten!Parking: Free lot in the shopping plaza but lots of venerable people entering and exiting so be careful. Free street parking out front.Kid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“This place is great with lots of food options and it's self serve so you can grab your own meats and veggies as you can choose whatever and how many you want. They offer alot of meats and veggies and well kept in fridges. Been going to this place and enjoy it, will return once again soon.“
“I was so hungry one night and I had no food at home. I live in El Monte so there's really not many options to choose from . I checked yelp "restaurants open near me " and boom this place popped up! I was shocked huh when did Elmonte have a dumpling restaurant?!? There weren't that many reviews at the time because they just opened but all that I saw were positive 5 stars. So I gave them a try and O man their food is great! It's kinda scary how frequent I go there but their dumplings and fried rice are soo delicious. It's a nice family run business so their service and quality of food is always consistent. I love this place !“
“Refined and elegant Cantonese food that highlights ingredients like duck, beef, and pork to take it to the next level. Amazing service from the whole team made it a lovely experience for our family of 4. We look forward to coming back soon!“
“I would highly recommend this place for dim sum. However, I must mention that the deep-fried pandan bun (斑斓生煎包) falls below the standard. Nevertheless, every other dish is definitely worth trying. It's a popular spot, the shop is not big so expect to queue before getting a table. The service is average.Parking: You can just find a spot to park in front of the shop. It’s easy to find a parking lot.“
“One of the most unique flavors in the area and done well! We've been here several times and recommend to friends visiting or anyone wanting to try something new.PARKING / ARRIVAL / VIBE:Two small lots are available for customers and street parking if those are full. When you walk in you see white cloth tables and some paper on top of those and pretty multicolored lighting, with TV screens and music playing traditional views and tunes. We arrived about an hour before closing (group of 5 on a Friday evening) and were seated promptly, and it was busy! We were there to chat and dine so got comfortable. Menu has traditional options, appetizers, entrees, vegetarian, desserts, and drinks (in particular they have traditional teas!).SERVICE:Our servers were friendly and efficient, making sure all is good, plates are cleared, all that good stuff with making you feel welcome!FOOD:Fresh and arrived as they are ready. The SHREDDED POTATO was excellent! Potato slivers soaked in flavor, not too spicy and just the right amount of tangy, so good. The large BONELESS BIG PLATE CHICKEN is indeed large and heaped in a mound of chicken and potato chunks atop large flat noodles with sauce; a staple order and the chicken toothsome and flavorful. The LAGHMAN hand pulled noodles with stir fried peppers and beef has a wonderful flavor and the noodles are very springy, you can even see the slight difference of thickness which proves they are hand pulled. the PEARLED NOODLES are kind of like a chopped version of the LAGHMAN - spoonfuls of beefy and chewy noodle goodness, kind of like a rich pasta dish! I would recommend all four of these dishes, they are the perfect size and amount for 5 people.Dessert: their BAKLAVA is one of the best I've had, lots of layers that shatter through to plenty of pistachio filling, nutty and not too sweet like a lot of other baklavas! Delicious end to a delicious meal :)So glad they're in the area and will always recommend this place to friends (or take them here!).“
“Looking back at some of my favorite meals of 2023 and Chifa is high on the list. I went in skeptical because growing up this place used to be a pet shop! The place is now obviously completely renovated and the food is absolutely incredible. I was not expecting to love it this much, I find myself craving the Lomo Saltado and I’m not even a big red meat fan to begin with. Veggies and noodles had tons of yummy flavor. Definitely worth a try!“
“This is a good karaoke spot with typical prices for K-town but actually friendlier & more personable staff than most! The system with the drinks minimum is what it is, when I'm not in the mood for an extravagant alcohol soaked party I just go to the mall in little Tokyo, but this spot is nice for that classic Korean karaoke atmosphere. I also wanted to make a comment referencing some negative reviews talking about "escorts". Korean karaoke bars do not allow escorts. If you see attractive women wearing heels, they are karaoke hostesses, and their job is to sing and bring a celebratory atmosphere for parties that are looking for that. Calling them escorts is just misogynistic and kind of xenophobic honestly.“
“Happy Bee, Happy MeFormerly Rice on Dish, Happy Bee Kitchen has been on my weekly food rotation. Delicious Chinese food, served by friendly & caring staff who remembers their customers. As per usual, lunch specials are what I go for when it comes to Chinese food.Stir-fried beef w/ ginger & scallions-So tender! Beef, in all it's iterations, is my litmus test for a Chinese restaurant, and Happy Bee's stir-fried beef w/ ginger & scallions is a winner. Packed with flavor, I'd order this again in a heartbeat. That is, if I don't choose Mongolian beef.Peking duck-Love that crispy skin! The Peking duck was succulently decadent. The meat was unctuous with all the duck fat, and when paired with baos, vegetables & sauce, a filling & satisfying entree.Curry chicken-Normally I don't order curry dishes, as most restaurants (usually Thai) serve curry with more potatoes than protein. Here, at Happy Bee, I'm delighted to say their curry chicken was predominantly chicken. Oh so tender chicken! The bell peppers & curry provided a good amount of heat, enhanced by the addition of chili oil on my part. Really good!Service has been excellent. The staff have always been hospitable & cheerful the times I've been at Happy Bee. A good amount of seating via tables & booths, with 1 large banquet table w/ a Lazy Susan. Parking is at the 99 Ranch Plaza, with Happy Bee located next to It's Boba Time & Let's Sea Bag n' Roll at the southside of the plaza.Wonderful food, wonderful people. Happy Bee Kitchen is one of my favorite places to eat weekly. I'm having a delightful time exploring their menu, and am looking forward to what culinary delight awaits me next. Highly recommend!“
“Ordered the non-spicy beef noodle soup (hand-cut) and added my own level of heat. Nice broth. Wish I had seen their cold drinks lineup before getting my green tea order from the bakery. Will try their milk green tea next time along with some other dishes (lamb, cold noodles).Nice sitting area shared with the hot deli. Reasonable prices and solid portions. The lady that took my order is nice & served the food to my table. Unexpected and much appreciated!“
“2023.09.16 \First visit/Originally, I wasn’t very interested in eating noodles in LA, but Flavor Noodles changed my mind. This time I ordered fatty beef noodles in sour soup, Sichuan style fat intestine noodles, and red oil noodles. I can’t choose which one is more delicious, I like them both! Looking forward to ordering something else on my next visit that I didn't have the stomach for this time.2024.01.09\Second interview/I finally had the opportunity to visit for a second time, but today I was a bit disappointed. I ordered beef noodles with raw pepper, Sichuan-style fat intestine noodles, and red oil noodles. The Chao Shou was more delicious than the last time I had it, but the taste of both bowls of noodles was a bit bland. Last time the sausage was very full, but today it looks thin. The beef noodles with raw pepper are quite spicy. Will be willing to visit again to see if today was just an anomaly, but will order back the beef noodles in sour soup next time.Recommended: Fatty Beef Noodles in Sour Soup“
“Good Chinese food USED to be easy to find not so any more. This was the best Chinese food I have had in years, literally! The Door Dash delivery was horrible but that is a separate issue and as bad as it was it still did not diminish the meal. I can't wait to take my wife & daughter to the Pasadena location.“
“Very interesting place , the food is top notch , they served you super well portions and the flavor is super , the lady that welcomes you is a character in a good way , is super nice and attentive, but with a little hyper crazy personality... their only fault is place needs to be a little more organized as you can see boxes and tables for storage and plain view ... but overall a good place ... that tea wasn't that good either ( super hot be careful)“
“Denny is enough of a reason to go here as any! Great service and he's someone who clearly cares about his customers (checking in with everyone and even helping someone retrieve their phone from an Uber). The atmosphere was comfortable - not fancy, but homey. I'm veg, so not the best judge of the food (I heard the beef soup noodles were great), but I enjoyed the food as well.“
“One of my favorite Chinese restaurants for really great food. I believe this place is Michelin rated. I'm not surprised. My favorite is the crispy shrimp/prawns. They must use super hot oil to get the shrimp shells to be so light and crispy. You can eat the whole shrimp, shell, tail and all!Today, the 2 of us had the beef brisket with quail eggs and the zhajianmein, a noodle dish using black bean sauce. Both very good. Very flavorful.Good service. They have set a high bar. Many new restaurants are trying to outclass and outdo Bistro Na. I was surprised to get seating for 2 on a busy afternoon after church. Maybe the others are out trying the new contenders?“
“Wait for a table was fine, didn't take that long. The interior was very nice and clean. Food was yummy. Only complaint that I have is that all of the food didnt arrive at the same time. One person in my group got the pho and got it by the time most of us were almost done eating.Parking: Even though it's free parking for the lot, it's really small. I recommend parking in the street and walking over to save time.“
“I enjoyed all the food I ordered. Scallion pancakes, pork bun, braised beef soup with thin and thick noodles, and the best fried rice ever. I would definitely order from here again. Too bad I didn't take any pictures of my food as I gobbled it all up. One thing to note is that, and I believe, there are 4 types of noodle options, thick, thin, flat, and wide!Parking: Shares a small lot with the rest of the plaza“
“It must be ages to me to remember when was the last time I was here. This time, I was here after the LA Chinatown firecracker run. And boy, the food quality amazed me, and the service was top-notch. We are a group of 11, and we ordered lots of food. The dish that stood out was the salt fish tofu hot pot. It was so good that our group ordered two. The taste was good and the smell of saltfish made you wonder where was this dish my whole life. I will go back to try other dishes.“
“Looking for authentic Sichuan and Cantonese cuisine? There’s a hidden gem in San Gabriel that’s worth trying. They have some really spicy dishes but if you’re like me and can’t handle too spicy, they have some wonderful non-spicy options. Check out their lunch specials!Andrea, Jessica and the rest of the staff are wonderful with customers! They are so welcoming and attentive, treating everyone like friends and making the customers feel at home. They have separate rooms available and are perfect for parties as well. I love the outdoor patio area! Now, let’s talk about the food…Everything was absolutely delicious!! Big portion sizes as well. It was enough to feed me and my 2 boys and still have some food to take home. The Smoked Duck was tender and succulent! The Lamb Chops were fall off the bone tender and so flavorful! Love the crispy texture of the Stir-Fried Noodles with Beef. You can get them soft or crispy. The Diced Beef Tenderloin was our favorite!! So juicy and perfectly cooked! Great balance of flavors! There’s a small parking lot so you may need to park on the street. At first I wasn’t sure if I was at the right place, but it was lol So, if you just follow the directions, you’ll find it.We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back!“
“The food never disappoints!! I've been going once a week since finding out about this place! The food and price you pay no one can beat it! The service is great too they get you in and out for to go order. And if u do place a to go order online and place it on their website!“
“We celebrated the new year luncheon here. You need to make a reservation first cause they have lots of customers. Their flavors of dishes here are all awesome. It's an authentic Cantonese cuisine. The special bun is astonishing. It has shrimp, chicken and vegetables in it and filled with the soup. Tasted great. The seafoods here are very fresh. We ordered the gold lobster, fried squid and cashew nut shrimps. All of these tasted great. The services here are friendly and warm. They will help you to counter help. And the atmosphere here was nice. Though is not a big restaurant. But full with feeling of hometown. Recommended. It is an independent store that has been operating for more than 40 years. It tastes really good and it is authentic Cantonese cuisine. Every time All the dishes are exquisite and attentive. I like the pomegranate buns they ordered. They have shrimp, vegetables, chicken and full of soup. The skin of the duck with taro paste is crispy and very tasty. The skin of the glutinous rice chicken roll is also very chewy. I have eaten here before. The most authentic taste, the golden lobster is quite big and can only feed 11 people. It is delicious with salted egg yolk and the meat is plump. The fried squid is very crispy and the meat is very tender. Even the stir-fried soybean sprouts are very delicious after inhaling the chicken broth. eatThe overall taste is really first-class, the price is moderate, and the service is very attentive and will always help change the plates. Business is very good. It is recommended to make an appointment in advance. The overall experience is great. Highly recommended.“
“The beef chow fun is literally, no exaggeration, the best plate of noodles I've ever had in my life. Not only the kind of flavorful that goes through your whole body, but the beef was tender as butter. The hot and sour soup was also exemplary. I'm kind of a man of habit and it takes a lot to add a restaurant to my regular favorites rotation; Fu Plus jumped to the top of the list and it's likely to stay there. Holy cow.“
“There's a reason why NBC Seafood has been in business for so many years. If you know Monterey Park and Alhambra area well, you'd see restaurants come and go so often that it would not be a surprise if you go to the same restaurant the second time and the name has been changed .NBC Seafood is a very good and authentic Cantonese food restaurant. Great place for a family gathering. Food is fantastic and quickly served. Everything seems to come out all at the same time so you'd get to enjoy everything at the same time.We had a party of 9 and we had a great time. And they always give free desserts.I highly recommend this place.“
“100% recommend this place. Ordered: -Potato Noodle -Fried Chicken Pro: -Potato noodle was really good. Chewy and savory. We got the seafood meatballs but they also have a beef one. The broth was spicy and not too heavy tasting. -The chicken was savory sweet, a bit sticky and a delight to eat! There are a lot of bones and the meat is slightly chewy which makes a pleasant texture. -Interior was clean, bright and cute -Plenty of parking inside the structure -Price is reasonable Con: -No credit card payment under $30“
“Very nice and authentic restaurant. All the workers have very kind hearts and are generally very kind people. I'm surprised that such an epic movie was filmed here. If anyone reads this, I was the kid in the black hoodie with a smile. 03-14-24.Very nice and authentic restaurant. Every worker is very kind hearted and they are overall very kind people. I am amazed that such an epic movie was filmed here. If anyone reads this I was the kid with the black hoodie with a smile face on it. 3-14-24.“
“I moved her about a week ago and Uncle John's was one of the first places I stopped at and I now have to look no further for anything else. I get coffee here every day and have had two of their lunch boxes (today was bbq pork w sesame cold noodles, minus a few bites I took before the photo) for only $8 and what great portions and quality they give you. The place is always filled with people eating and talking, customer service is the best. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!!“
“Everything tasted great. Beef noodle soup, spicy beef noodle soup, mala beef noodle soup. Now caution should be used with that devil spicy beef noodle soup. That is like ghost pepper crazy spicy.Pan fried buns and XLB were also good. The beef rolls were okay.ALLERGEN NOTES: No milk or egg used lol“
“You know a spot is good when the only menu displayed has faded photos of various dishes with no descriptions or dish titles. Only the real ones know. Every time I come here, I meet a local who’s been coming here since the 80s or 90s and it is so comforting to know that a place like this exists. Love the food, owner, consistency, quality, and history of this place.Run by one guy and one guy only, make sure to be patient while waiting for your order if it gets packed, maybe clean up the tables around you while you wait. Doesn’t hurt to help.“
“It's always the places tucked away in a corner that are the best. You would never see this place from the main road unless you go into the business park. I've only been once and tried the orange peel chicken with fried rice. They forgot my fried rice and gave me white rice but I live near by and they were quick to fix it when I came back. The quality and taste of the food keeps this a 5 star. The chicken didn't taste cheap or full of salt and didn't upset my stomach after like other places. I would surely come back!“
“Absolutely astonished by the cheap prices! In a time where inflation is forcing us to live check to check, eating out has become a luxury for many Americans. I expected to spend about $20. I understand that mom and pop shops have a lot of overhead with less margin for loss, which in turn has caused many small businesses to go under and or raise their prices astronomically to cover their costs (this in turn, pushes away customers also) In times like these, all the huge businesses/chains have bail money and resources. With that said, this place simply doesn’t care! They price their food at $5.99 a pound. And that pound is a GOOD pound! They let you weigh it out in front of them, as they ring you up. My food was $7.50 or so. Also, I ordered the taro smoothie with boba. My grand total was $11.70. Please give this place a try, if you are in Montebello area!Parking: Plenty of parking!Kid-friendliness: Kids items and dishes.“
