“It’s definitely a local place since the staff know the majority of folks walking in the door, asking how are they doing? Their family, works, etc. it makes you warm and homey feeling. Easy parking and the place is clean and bright and spacious with both inside and outside seating. Plenty choices of bagels and morning cake (coffee cake). Plus variety of coffee and smoothies plus fresh squeezed juices. The bagel is soft and delish with great texture outside and toppings. The homemade cream spread is delicious and comes with varies choice of favor. Fantastic service overall. Will definitely comeback for more. Prices wise, decent & affordable.“

“What a great hidden gem in Los Alamitos! I ordered an Americana bagel on jalapeño bread, a hot tea and an iced vanilla chai, everything was delicious. Plus they have ice nugget machine which I prefer instead of the big ice chunks for iced drinks!
The iced vanilla chai was SO good, much much better than its big corporation competitors. I will definitely come again. Both girls behind the counter were very kind and patient and gave me the WiFi password and gave me recommendations. They really made you feel at ease. What a delight to visit, I would certainly recommend this cafe to anyone looking for good prices, good food and yummy drinks!“

“...and ive been coming here for years now so i guess i keep coming back for a reason. the bagels are always fresh and have that perfect chewy inside with a nice crisp outside just how i like them. service is usually quick even when theres a line which is impressive for sucha small place. had the veggie cream cheese this morning and it was spot on with plenty of real veggies not just a spread. wish they had a little more seating cause sometimes its hard to find a spot to sit and enjoy. i think teh coffee could be a touch stronger but its still decent. defintely my go to spot when im in town“

“I love the donuts here. They are so fresh all the time everytime. The gentleman that served me was so kind and friendly. The blueberry glazed donut is so delicious and Again very fresh and I've been there lately night and early afternoon times when the donuts shouldn't be so fresh but not at Top Donuts it seems no matter what time of day they are always fresh. If you want a delicious donut come to Top Donuts!“

“Last week my kid and I were in a pinch because we forgot that our weekly park meetup was “ Potluck”. We were so excited to find Einstein Bros and then Karen took amazing care of us. She hooked us up with fresh bagels and cream cheese. She even gave us napkins n knives. These bagels were so fresh and delicious. I can’t wait to comeback. They were a hit with the kids. “I can’t believe this place is still here. I moved from Long Beach over 16 years ago. Back in the late 80s to late 90s my family would go every Friday to the video 1 next door and then pick up some donuts and ham and cheese croissants. Glad it’s still around.“

“Got 4 items for $31: 2 Large drinks 1 medium drink (ranging from $5-$6) and a bagel that cost ~$14. It was all yummy especially the thai tea and cookies and cream. The bagel shop is filled with cute funny bagel decorations as well which added a nicer touch. Will be coming here again!“

“I got the donuts and Vietnamese coffee first. Both were delicious and the donuts were soft when we got them and even a day later. Still soft as if it were fresh. I got the croissant sandwich the second time and it was also excellent. The prices aren’t too bad either and it’s supporting a family owned business too. They were really friendly.“

“Well, its not THE best anymore, but I still like it. It is a bit pricey for what you get, which is fine if its quality. The iced latte was warm, the bagel was doughy & had just a little piece of soggy bacon. It has always been expensive for a bagel shop, but it use to be small & family operated. I was glad to see it expand, but now miss what it used to be. The drive through is convenient for me. Others complain about the cashless aspect which for me is not an issue… It will not be my go to for coffee & I hope they fix the bagel because the lunch sandwich looked good & I would like to try it sometime. 3.5 stars 🌟 for this location.“

“I have been coming to Grounds Bakery & Cafe since the day they opened. They have some of the best fresh breads and pastries. Such a massive selection. My favorite are the sandwiches. Honestly the best tuna sandwich in the world. And literally, I mean the world- I have tried them everywhere. And their is not single place other then grounds that gets them right and perfect. “I don't know about the rest of the day, but at 8:30 in the morning the donuts here are delicate and delicious. Highly recommend the raspberry filled jelly donut. Haven't had one that good since I was a kid. The ladies serving me were very helpful and friendly.“
