“There's definitely a reason this place keeps coming up everywhere as number ones bartenders are nice with a touch of sass like you'd like at a dive bar, but it's elevated. The prices are pretty pricey, but for the love ingredients and originality of the cocktails I guess it's alright, but I'm not staying for more than two lol. We ordered 4 cocktails and two mocktails and it was about $100 so time to go home lol. They have yummy little snacks and overall we were happy with this new Long Beach spot.“
“Awesome pizza, good vibe. Love supporting a well run local family run business. The owner is passionate about the stuff he makes and is there working, firing up the pizzas in the oven. Really enjoyed talking to him while sitting at the bar.“
“I was on a delivery call out to Artesia and after driving for over an hour to get here I got hungry so I looked at my surroundings and as far as restaurants go there were slim pickings, but out of the corner of my eye I saw this Mexican restaurant across the street from the fast food place I was going to settle for.I'm glad I looked around because I discovered gold!I've been to many Mexican restaurants all over LA county and this one is in my top 3 from hundreds of others. The food is original and the flavors really come through onto your palate.I could taste the fresh chicken inside my enchiladas, I could taste the freshness of the green sauce, I could taste the lemon on the onions that topped my enchiladas, I could even taste which chiles they used for the hot sauce they brought with my chips while I waited for my food. Everything had its own flavor but it was a compilation of true freshness that can only be achieved when you truly value your craft and this amazing restaurant is head and shoulders above the rest when it comes to honest, fresh, and flavorful Mexican food!If I lived nearby I would eat here 3 to 4 times a month. The variety of dishes gives you so many options it's impossible to repeat the same dishes in 30 days! LOL.I loved the atmosphere within his family friendly and I definitely loved the food. You can trust me on this, Oaxaca Village is as authentic as going to a Mercado in Guadalajara or a Fonda in Huatulco.Get here as soon as you can, you'll thank me later.Parking: A few stores in this little strip mall but you can also go around the building to find more parking.“
“If you happen to find yourself in the Bixby area of Long Beach around lunchtime, do yourself a favor and stop by the southwest corner of Carson and Atlantic to Thunderbolt Pizza. One of the best sandwiches I've had in a while. I had the Hellfire sub and loved it. They bake the bread to order and cram it full with so much flavor that you'll savor it to the last bite. Capicola, spicy soprasetta, pepperoni, arugula, ricotta, chopped cherry peppers, spicy mayo.“
“Great local place that has a cute store next door with a variety of beer/wine choices and some upscale snacks.Food, drinks and vibe of the bar are always amazing. Every one always seems to be having a good time whenever I’m there. The staff is super nice and helpful with any questions I have had.“
“Highly recommended!Great customer service, good atmosphere and yummy food. I love their deal which is 2 tacos with beer, great deal and the customer service is so kind, feels like I'm a part of a family!!!I love this place! I will definitely come back!!Thank you so so much.“
“I went to Beer Thug Brewing recently. I played a round of pinball on a Jurassic Park themed pinball machine. I thought the place looked decent, but it was a bit empty. There was a DJ playing music, but I thought the music was a bit too loud. I liked that there were music videos being streamed and projected on a wall. I liked that there was karaoke at one point.“
“This place is one of my absolute favorites in Whittier! The burgers are amazing, and I love their selection of Belgian beers. I am no oyster expert, but I tried them once and they were great! My partner and I come here often and have never been disappointed. The servers are amazing and always friendly. Highly recommend!“
“This place is absolutely wonderful. This place gives wonderful food and wonderful atmosphere. I see some reviews on here that don’t make any sense. To rate this place less than 5 stars in absurd. Whoever writes a bad review about this place is a complete fool. I love Oink and Gobble!!!“
“When I'm in the mood for a chicken salad sandwich, this is the place I go. Absolutely amazing and my taste are in heaven after every bite. I add a salad, haven't had the fries yet. I'm not a fan of fries, I often never finish fries where ever I go, unless chili cheese is on them.“
“Delicious pizza served at the old Whittier post office. There are non-pizza options available as well. Friendly staff are very helpful. The only downside was not seeing more about the building's previous function. That would be a great addition for out of town visitors. I will definitely be returning when I am in town next!“
“Super adorable spot! One of the chill wine bars filled with locals and different locals playing music~ Noah the wine-tender was amazing and gave amazing recs and found me my new favorite wine! Older crowd but it's seal beach there's also a wine club membership for $50! Overall I love this place and will be back for more wine and they have some board games to play with a friend or date“
“We love their pizza. One of the best build your own pizza spots. Sandwiches are ok but the pizzas are where it's at. Service is decent, mostly good but there are some young kids that are still learning how not to be socially awkward. Cool little selection of beers on Tao and they have lots of promotions to look out for. Highly recommend.“
“Bought a tray of meat for Christmas Eve dinner. Super good and will definitely be buying again for the next family gathering. A lot of the reviews say they are pricey but for a small business I think it was fairly priced. Would rather give our money supporting small businesses than catering Lucille’s or other big companies.“
“Perfect every time! The chicken is always consistently delicious and the workers are very nice. The restaurant has a lot of seating and is quite clean. The menu has a good variety of flavors and chicken to choose from so you're bound to find something that you like. They also play KPOP music videos which is a giant plus. The price is slightly higher than the average chicken place, in my opinion. However, you're definitely paying for the quality and taste. We always stop by when we're in the area and so should you!“
“The pizza was delicious and was actually served piping hot. (not always so at other pizza places) Amazing beer selection. They had one of my favorites... Pliny the Elder. The music seems loud but we were able to easily hold a conversation (which was nice because we gathered from 3 different states).“
“I went here to find a new place to drink near my new place. It's still a drive from me but, I'm happy to always visit new bars. This one serves beers, wines and trulys. It's cash only but they have an ATM. I took my brother there for helping me move big stuff. We also had my nephew along with us and he was okay to be there. They have a nice shuffleboard and plenty beers on tap. Most stuff is in the fridge and the bar girl was nice. Met some of the regulars so it's a good vibe.“
“Cute little gem hidden in a random plaza in Buena Park! Hubbie and I were looking for a place to hang out after dropping off daughter to hang out for few hours. I like wine- he likes beer. We were so pleasantly surprised to find the place with a great selection of both! From the outside you wouldn't think much, but once inside, it is the most cozy and welcoming place. We chatted with the guy working there (can't remember his name but he was so friendly!), who told us that the owner likes to change up the drink menu monthly. They also have a shelf of board and trivia games to play, and host weekly trivia nights. We had a great cozy evening, and tried some excellent wine & beer for such a great price! Their flatbread was also very tasty. It is a great place to hang out and unwind for the evening. Thank you for a great time!“
“Great spot in Rodeo39, perfect to grab a beer and have it with your meal from one of the many different vendors there. Bartenders are down-to-earth and sweet. Think beer is decent- nothing that blows my mind, but solid. They have happy hour (?4-6pm) with 4 choices or so on rotation, $2 off for a pint.4 stars for location and convenience. Would not go out of my way unless I wanted the Rodeo39 vibe and flexibility“
“I absolutely love to play pool at this fine establishment! Great selection of beers and the pool tables are well maintained. They're making upgrades to the cantina as well! Tarin is absolutely so gracious and friendly. She always manages to fit us in when it gets busy during the weekend. I hope I spelled her name correctly and I hope to be back soon to sink another 8-ball.“
“Various beers, ciders and IPA....starts with 4oz up to 8oz to 16oz pours. Not sure if you have any idea where to start then do the 4oz pour for $3 and decide if you want to commit to more of the same drink or move onto another flavor. I liked the mango cider and the pilsner. Dog friendly.“
“The atmosphere was wonderful, it was similar to a sports bar combined with sushi. Unfortunately they didn't have the drinks that I wanted. And it is on the small side.Vegetarian options: They did have some vegetarian options, enough for a few choicesParking: Parking is difficult on the street but there are parking lots behind the shopsKid-friendliness: It's a family friendly areaWheelchair accessibility: Yes“
