“The absolute best food by far. Four of us out walking around Shattuck looking for a place to eat on a Saturday when we happened by Cafe Tibet (the jazz band brought us down this street). This is a full vegan restaurant with the absolute best food I have tasted in a long time! Rich and full of flavor and you can be served either family style or order individually, this cafe will do it any way you like. I highly recommend Cafe Tibet to anyone, vegan or not, for food that is delicious and rich in flavors. And definitely try the desserts. So good!“

“Great place for Indian and Nepalese food, with a lot of options. I tried Paneer Tikka Masala with Brown Rice, and thought it was pretty good (although it could have been a little more spicy). Great service as well. If you don't find parking in Solano Street or simply don't want to pay, you can find some free street parking around 7-10 mins walk from the restaurant (for example, Marin Ave near the fountain).“

“I had the pleasure of dining at this amazing halal restaurant, and I can confidently say it exceeded all expectations. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was attentive without being overbearing.
The food? Absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was bursting with flavor, clearly made with fresh ingredients and authentic spices. Whether you're into curry lamb , fried momo or vegetarian options, there’s something for everyone on the menu. You can really taste the care and tradition in every bite.
I especially appreciated the clean, family friendly environment and the clear attention to maintaining halal standards. It’s not easy finding places that get both the taste and the ethics right but this one nails it.
Highly recommend to anyone looking for a top-tier halal dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“There are so many places that say they are Himalayan or Nepalese or whatever, and there are ones closer to my house than MoMo Masalas, but I really like the menu here and the prices are fair. I like the Chilli Paneer (or chicken, if you want), a kind of street food-style dish that seems to walk the line between Indian and Chinese. Dahi Chicken is nice, too.“
“Delicious momos... One of the best part of our San Francisco visit was to try all the authentic tastes of flavorful Momos from Momolicious. My best would be Kathmandu Jhol Momo and Fiery Momo. And not to forget the kwati soup on a rainy day. We literally filled our tummy tasting all the items on the menu whole day. And we are glad we did it .So proud of you Anup Bajracharya!! And kudos to the team. It was seriously finger licking good. Friends if you happen to be in San Francisco Bay area give it a try for this Nepalese cuisine.“

“Went out for early dinner, but it was booked for college orientation, so had to takeout snacks and tea only. Samosas were freshly made and very tasty. Masala tea was good as well.
I am very sure the food would have been very tasty .“

“A cute restaurant that serves flavors akin to North Indian food for their lunch specials. They pile up your plate, but I can be hungry sometimes after. Their chai is some of the best I can get in Berkeley and is decently priced. Their chicken is well seasoned, and their veggie options are delicious. Their rice is well cooked. The little booths are cute, but the seating area can be a little stuffy.“
