“Love this spot! Very generous portion sizes. Giant burritos packed with flavor. The carne asada is my favorite. Their guacamole is always fresh and every order comes with a small side of fresh tortilla chips. Ate here at least 5 times now and they’re consistently delicious.Additionally, their horchata is very authentic and delicious!“

“1st visit. Great menu, just beed a chef that knows how to cook southern food. It was horrible. I tried two items, the first was shrimp appetizer. It was just overly spicy, no flavor, just hot. Returned it and ordered catfish suggest. They were soggy, I ate on those b/c I was hungry. The bartender still charged me 1/2 price for the horrible shrimp I returned. Bartender could not make an old-fashioned cocktail, but said he could. Nice guy, but stick to beer or wine, something that has 2 items only. I was there for the music. I'll be back, I'll eat dinner b4 I come next time. Loved the place, very old school blues vibe. Meet new people there, but if they are missing the mark on the food. I'm in the food industry, and I see huge potential if they had a chef that specialized in Southern foods. Biscuits were bland. I was told the Latina chef just follows a menu. That is not cool..“

“I can't remember the last time I had fried chicken that was this good. They make it to order so it takes a little longer. But it comes out hot and crunchy. The chicken itself is juicy, they must brine it or something. I also think their story is pretty great.“

“Went to dinner with a few of my lady friends after seeing a show in the city, this was the perfect ending to a phenomenal day. I had the crab cakes and they were delish, a couple of people in my group had the fried chicken/fried catfish combo and that looks delicious as well. I highly recommend Lizzy’s Cajun Cafe.“

“Our Kingsmen group meets here once a month for breakfast. The food, service and atmosphere is always excellent. Denise is Usually our server and does an excellent job ensuring that our food and drink orders are correct and piping hot (cold drinks cold). She is always pleasant and friendly in spite of our large group. Thank you Denise, all the cooks, and wait-staff for making Sukie’s Country Kitchen an Institution for our community.

“I’m a vegetarian, so I can’t speak about the Q (the men in my house cried when the last wing was grabbed), but this banana pudding is so off the hook I want to cry!! So rich and creamy! I’ve eaten 1/2 of the very generous serving and I’m stuffed. I’m gunna power through it though, because I know if I save it, one of these boys will eat it!“

“We had a great experience until they called last call. We asked for one more drink when we she said we can only do shots. We purposely wanted mixed shots such as lemon drops and green tea shots. She told us we can only do well shots… really rude and doesn’t make a lot of sense.“
