Love the live music early in the night, and the transition to more "throw down" music later in the night. Decent priced drinks, but I only need a shot of tequila to get lit so I'm no expert haha. Overall a good time!
I've always loved this bar, but today one of the bartenders checked my ID, laughed at me and said "yeah you're not 6' tall" and refused to serve me, thinking I had a fake ID. This harshened my mellow, so I'm leaving a sub-average review :( Updating from 3 to 2 stars. They turned my buddy away because his address was from Marin. And they laughed at him and told him to "get off my property". This is the opposite of epic!

One of my favorite bars in North Beach for suds, cocktails, music, and good bar grub. They were the only bar in NB that opened early on during the dark days of the pandemic, my oasis. They got my respect ☺️ It is funny that the place is still going, seems to be held together with duck tape, zip ties, and jb weld ?
