“Great experience last night! Crab cake was delicious, duck was perfect, rock shrimp and Italian sausage pasta was delicious and petrale sole was also amazing. Had the carrot cake which was served warm with a light creamy topping. So glad we tried it. Definitely will be back!“

“We celebrated our 54th anniversary at Drakes's and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our waitress, Lizette was very personable and attentive. She made good wine and menu suggestions. We felt welcome and special right away by her acknowledging our anniversary and bringing us a Champagne pour for a toast. The meal was delicious and the ambiance was romantic and scenic. Lizette made our celebration special for us when she brought us desert and another congratulations on our 54 years!! We highly recommend Drake's! Lizette made it special!“

“My friend and I shared a wine tasting which consisted of three small glasses of tasting size. You get to pick the three wines that you want. Not a huge selection., but works. We decided to eat there and I got the crabcakes which were pretty tasty a spicy sauce on top, and there were bell peppers and with the crabcakes. My friend got salmon with the skin was very crispy which he likes but the inside was too rare and he had to ask them to cook it more. It came back, still a bit too rare, and we fed that to the seagulls….The couscous salad that came with it was the best thing of all. I would not run back there but if you’re hungry and in that exact area, it’s a convenient place to grab a bite to eat. They have a couple of different patios outside, and the staff was very friendly. The one remark my friend said was that if they’re going to leave the salmon that raw like they said they usually do, they should ask people how they like it cooked. He loves sushi, but it was too rare for him being that it was salmon. It was a great day to get away from the high heat of Sonoma. We went from the 90s to the 60s wearing a jacket. He had never gone by the school house from Alford Hitchcock The Birds, so we did that on the way out.“

“Wow! What a gem! If you are looking for outstanding chowder, you have to try Ginochio’s Kitchen. Best chowder we have had in California. The owner is a sweetheart who knows everything about the town of Bodega Bay.
Huge parking lot with lots of spots. Clean restrooms. Food comes out quick and piping hot.
We finally got to try their breakfast burritos and they did not disappoint. Huge and filled with delicious pulled pork.
We will definitely be back soon!“

“Had the pleasure of staying on the property and hit the restaurant and bar a few times. You must make a reservation to sit in the dining area for dinner. Bar seating and outside is FCFS and we enjoyed the bar just fine. Drinks a couple nights were off the charts - I believe Nick was bartending. Other night was just average. Shrimp and artichoke dip should be illegal, it is so good. You might consider not sharing it! The steak was great. I feel the real winner is the breakfast. Everything was amazing. Salmon benedict was crazy because the salmon was so good. Huevos Rancheros was killer and the salsa was perfect. French toast kills the sweet tooth and matched perfect with the savory things if you like to share. Only downside was there tended to be a bunch of loud babies and kids in the bar and outside. That was not relaxing. Live music was a big plus.“

“I have been going to River’s end restaurant for almost two decades and have always loved the experience. This time, I decided to stay a few days at the new Home collection lodging and the getaway was completely remarkable. I will make sure to come back more often in order to unplug and relax completely in this paradisiacal getaway.“

“Fabulous place to stay. On the river with a private dock with kayaks and paddle boards. Lots of day beds and lounging areas. Really good restaurant and bar. We listened to live music and had a great time. Very relaxing. We go every summer. Can't wait until next year“
