“Ok, I am from NY and love pizza. I am not a NYC pizza snob though and welcome all iterations of 'za! I have to say that this pizza is probably the best I have ever had of its type. They are "Roman" slices, meaning focaccia crust. Variety of slice options are insane with creative combinations that are not only imaginative, but insanely delicious. Slices are cooked upon ordering for supreme freshness. I especially like the Lussuria - prosciutto, black pepper, mashed potato, mozzarella and olive oil. (I NEVER thought I would like mashed potato on a slice, but it's insanely good.) The help here is amazing as well. Caesar was working the oven and he gave great suggestions and explained the product well. Very inviting and definitely steered me in the right direction. Need gluten free? They got it! Will make a GF slice for you right on the spot. I challenge anyone to have just one slice. I had to go back for 2 more. Enjoy!“

“If you are looking for a true Italian experience in San Diego, look no further than Vinarius! We worked with Giuseppe (owner) to host our wedding celebration here back in March, 2023. From the beginning, he was amazing to work with. Incredibly positive and accommodating from the start, we couldn’t have asked for more. The wedding ceremony was planned to be outside and of course, it rained that day. Guiseppe and his staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, allowed us to have the small ceremony inside the restaurant on short notice and made an incredible meal to follow. “We ordered delivery, received within 1 hour of ordering. Meat lovers Sicilian style. Slightly overcooked and burnt on the bottom, but flavor and was fine. Texture was a bit too crunchy but still well within edible standards.

We also requested napkins and plates, but those were not delivered with the food. No extra cost on those, so not receiving them didn't mean we were out any money. Just inconvenient.“

“Got stationed to work at the park it on market ACE parking structure, was excited of a smell of really really good pizza coming from somewhere, took a pep outside and saw San Remo Pizzeria, I took my lunch and tried one cheese and they had me, it was exactly what I thought super good thin Ny style slices, the sauce and crunchy thinness make you want to eat a whole pizza . And it’s all family ran that explains why it’s so good , thanks again every time I work there I’m grabbing a few slices.“

“Pizzeria Luigi was recommended by a friend, and it was a solid NY-style pizza stop. We ordered a pie with half White Girl and half Capone. We also got two slices of cheese pizza. Both the White Girl and Capone were fantastic, but the White Girl is definitely more memorable. It's got a perfect kick to it (not very hot, but great flavor).

The employees were incredibly helpful and kind. They threw in some garlic knots, which were greatly appreciated and tasted good. We ultimately ordered based on their recommendations, which provided us with a good experience overall.

If you're a tourist (which we were), pay close attention to your GPS, especially at night. We got a bit turned around in some neighborhoods and struggled making it back to the freeway.“

“When we came in, the guy behind the counter immediately offered us a free garlic knot. After that we ordered and the pizza's came pretty fast. The guy even offered to arrange the tables in a way so we can sit together which was very nice. The pizza itself was really delicious. The prices itself were somewhat high.“

“This place is amazing hidden gem pizzeria here near the Sunbow area in Chula Vista. Technically in the Bon Vivant neighborhood, but it's a local business with a local spirit and when you go you'll be sure to notice other locals crowiding the buisness. I went on a Tuesday at 1 PM and the place was poppin, not overcrowded but full of ambiance and business. I went for the more affordable and smaller of their offering (There full pies are probably great but 20$ and their size are way too much for lil old me to handle) The combo was economic and I liked that they had many pizza option slices to choose from. This time I chose the Jalapeño Pepperoni and Garlic Mushroom Ricotta pizza slices, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good the pizza was. They quickly popped my slices in the over, and served them up in a paper plate. I asked for togo for some reason, and they quickly covered it with a paper bag horizontally and sent me on my way. The drinks was a bit smaller than what I was anticipating, so I just opted to take a seat and enjoy the slices inside the buisness. Despite the realitivrky small size of the joint, they managed to fit lots of tables so finding a spot wasn't too much of an issue, and I was able to leave my food and go to the bathroom quickly without any hastle. It's a regular bathroom and the whole shop feels very no frills and mom and pop. They have a toppings (crushed pepper and parmesan) and napkins station by where you pay, and I'm glad that they were generous with these as well as the drinks. For those, there is a fountain machine by where they keep the arcade machines, and this is just a classic Coca Cola soda fountain with the classics: Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Lemonade. Lemme go back to the arcade machines because yeah, they also have retro arcade machines which seemed like a really cool addition, although there was a tio playing on it the whole time I was there. For the actual pizzas, they were both yummy, although the jalapeño pepperoni was a bit greasy after I took some bites and squeezed the pizza a bit. The garlic mushroom was lowkey my favorite and the bites of ricotta were divine. that garlic flavor really pushes through, and I hadn't realized it was coming from the mushrooms until I saw an Insta post where the owner was prepping them. Both pizzas did eventually get cold though, and the crust wasn't incredible so I did leave it once the sauce ran out of the corners. But overall, this is a great local chula vista pizza place and a great option to just switch up your lunch meal if your nearby in the area, and you don't want to spend a crazy ammount. The only real downside is that drink, but if you're eating in a second refill will give you just the right amount of liquid to satisfy you properly. I really recommend so come and try it and tell me if y'all vibed with it as much as I did. DAYGOEATS CERTIFIED✅✅“

“My new Go-To spot for Pizza in San Diego! I'm from out of state and man some of the best thin pizza I've had in years. And best overall pizza I've had lately.

The Owner's are very respectful and amazing service. Tip them big to support them as a local business and not corporate. I ate here 3 days in a row while I was in town. You won't get bloated like from other thick pizza spots since it's not heavy on bread or grease.

They have all kinds of toppings for anybody's personal taste. Give them a try and you won't be disappointed! 😁“

“It's a great place if you're not gluten-free and vegan. Case in point: If the ave pizza cost is $20.00, a gluten-free vegan pays over 35% more! I can understand SOME mark-up to cover costs, but 35+% is too high. Unfortunately, we go elsewhere where vegans and gluten-free people don't pay such a higher percentage. I hope they address this disparity because we really like this place and I know we are not alone :(“

“They have a great Vegan Pizza option, the special is called Vegan Daiya it comes with artichokes, black olives, onion, tomato and spinach. You can customize and add toppings. They vegan options are limited but really good vegan pizza. A lot of vegetarian pizza options.“
