“We had 2 dinners while staying at the resort. Food was great each time and our bartender was friendly and thorough. Our second dinner was the Sunset Dinner special steak (Monday) and both were cooked perfectly to order (rare and medium). The cuts were juicy and tender. We'll return next time we're in town.“

“Overall this meal was better than expected because, after reading a lot of reviews, I was worried we'd be disappointed (especially for the cost). But the mushroom risotto was actually so very tasty. You can add chicken to it, which I recommend. The ribs were good, too, though a smidge cold when served - edible and warm ish but not hot.

The restaurant seems perhaps understaffed because it took a while to get a seat and took a while for our drink order, to get bread, and for the meal.

There's not much in Borrego Springs, and all prices seem high across the board. So I guess at the end of the day a 4/5 is the perfect score because, all things considered, it's good but not quite great.“
