We did not need reservations and were seated promptly on arrival as it was pretty empty. The service was overall good. Our waiter checked in on us multiple times and was attentive. The complimentary bread and garlic butter was great, but the rest of the food was fine, honestly nothing special. Our pastas were on the oilier side and salty, but the portion sizes are huge.”

She made sure to check in with us every time she walked by and made sure we always had drink, soup and salad refills. The manager also came by to check in with us once he heard we had an allergy at the table. He came to make sure he understood the allergy and reassured us of how they would handle the food and prevent and cross contamination. He even came out with Kayla to deliver the food and make sure we knew that it had been specially prepared.

“As someone who is particular about Thai food, Thai Seven in Downtown Brea genuinely impressed me. This is one of those hidden gems where you can immediately tell there is real attention being paid to the kitchen.

The first thing that stood out was the aroma—the unmistakable fragrance of a properly fired wok, with that smoky depth that gives Thai cooking so much character. The Spaghetti Kee Mao was exceptional: aromatic, savory, beautifully seasoned, and full of wok-fired flavor without being overwhelmed by sauce. The popcorn chicken arrived golden and remarkably crisp, yet remained tender and juicy inside.

The biggest surprise was the Crying Tiger beef. It was beautifully grilled, tender, flavorful, and easily comparable to something I would expect from a quality steakhouse. The execution was excellent.

Beyond the food, the service was attentive and welcoming. Owner Nova personally made us feel at home, adding the kind of genuine hospitality that separates a good restaurant from a memorable one.

This pita only had 3 falafels in it, most other Mediterranean or Greek places give at least 6. Both were served in a flatbread NOT a pita, so they shouldn't call them pita sandwiches. Both came with fries that were good. Place was clean and tidy.”

“honestly i was expecting a basic golf course bar with nothing but bud light and old peanuts but it actually has a solid craft beer selection including a couple local ipas i hadnt tried before. grabbed a burger and it was cooked perfectly with fresh toppings even though it took a little longer than i hoped to come out. the view from the patio looks right over the course so it a nice spot to just hang out and the servers were super friendly even when it got busy. my only small thing is the parking lot is kind of a mess especially on weekend afternoons with people dodging golfers. definitely will be back for the beer list alone even if im not playing that day.”

I ordered the three roll special. I had the shrimp, pork sausage, and bulgogi beef. The shrimp roll was as expected, light, fresh, and tasty. The sausage was the best. It had the best flavor and really stood out. The beef was dry, okay flavor-wise, but oh so dry. Each roll had lettuce, shredded carrot, cilantro, cucumbers, mint, and garlic chives. These added crunch, texture, and a freshness that really was nice.

“The Bottom Line Up Front:
In a world filled with corporations masquerading as sophisticated boutiques, Philz is a growing chain that still retains a cozy atmosphere while serving up great coffee. I've been to other Philz, but this review will focus on this Brea location.

The Drink:
I got the seasonal salted caramel cold brew and it was delicious. Picture Starbucks' caramel macchiato but less sweet and with less acidic espresso. This Philz drink was smooth and creamy, with enough caffeine kick to keep me powered throughout the day.

The Service:
Our barista was very knowledgeable and offered a few suggestions and a couple of samples so that I could make the right selection. Grade A service!

The Setting:
Located in the new section of Brea Mall, this Philz location is a freestanding building so you have to walk outside of the mall to access it from the southwest side. There's no street parking, so you'll need to park in the large parking structure across from Nordstrom (currently...but they are doing more construction so this could change in the future).

The Conclusion:
As part of a franchise that doesn't act like one, the Brea location of Philz offers great coffee with excellent customer service.”

“Five stars all the way for this bistro and cafe in the Pointe building center at the 57 and Lambert. Usually when I go to most cafes or fast-casual places for breakfast or lunch, I end up with a bland sandwich that is too small so I end up buying chips and/or dessert that I don't need or really want. I've never had this problem at On Pointe.

One of On Pointe Bistro's strengths is that the breakfast and lunch items are generously portioned while also being fresh and flavorful. I've had the breakfast waffles with fresh fruit, chilaquiles, open faced caprese sandwich, and a bowl with lentils, kale, carrots, tofu, and other healthy items. The bread in the caprese sandwich is one of the most flavorful breads I've tried in Orange County.

On Pointe Bistro offers a lot of vegetarian options which is nice. I've tried their meat-based breakfast sausage too, and it's also full of flavor, well-cooked, and neither burnt nor greasy. My wife had a cucumber agua fresca that she said was very refreshing. All of their food seems freshly prepared with high-quality ingredients. They do have grab and go items and a salad bar, both of which I want to try.

Parking is easy here. You can park in the garage next to the bistro for free and there is also free parking near the hair salon and Starbucks on Lambert. They are cashless which I think is easiest for most people. The service is also prompt and warm. The bistro has a modest lounge with lots of clean, minimal seating. They are closed on weekends and close in the early afternoon. I think this bistro is a nice alternative for people wanting to try a new cafe in the area.”

“Its pub food, it was ok, but I ordered a BBQ pizza, not expecting it to be spicy and had corn on it, never had a BBQ pizza like that, nor did I want it. I wasn't impressed.
On a good note the service was great! The young lady did a fantastic job, we were a group 7, and she took very good care of us.
Its is a very cool place, I loved the atmosphere. Cozy warm and definitely appealing.
Bottom line, I wasn't there for the beer, and not a fan of spicy food. So you decide. Im not trying to say it was horrible, but I'm just not into spicy food.”

“At the Nordstrom mall entrance. This Ebar is next to See's candies. We got the coffee from Ebar and the dark chocolate ftom See's candies; perfect combination. We tried the blueberry muffins and it’s the best. The regular and decaf coffees are sooooooo fresh and rich. The water 💧 is free for all 🙏🌹”

“Really enjoyed the wide selection of topping options you can add to your soup. They had a lot of options for soup bases too some spicy and some not spicy. The atmosphere is pretty nice I went on a Saturday evening and it was pretty easy to find a seat. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Waited about less than 20 minutes for my soup. Overall really good selection for the price. The dipping sauce bar didn’t have a ton of options but overall I really enjoyed this place.”
