​A couple of minor downsides to our visit: we specifically came to try the Bluefin Tuna Lover, but unfortunately, they were out. Also, our server brought out fresh wasabi without mentioning it carries an additional $4 charge each, which felt a bit misleading on the bill.”

We did not need reservations and were seated promptly on arrival as it was pretty empty. The service was overall good. Our waiter checked in on us multiple times and was attentive. The complimentary bread and garlic butter was great, but the rest of the food was fine, honestly nothing special. Our pastas were on the oilier side and salty, but the portion sizes are huge.”

“As someone who is particular about Thai food, Thai Seven in Downtown Brea genuinely impressed me. This is one of those hidden gems where you can immediately tell there is real attention being paid to the kitchen.

The first thing that stood out was the aroma—the unmistakable fragrance of a properly fired wok, with that smoky depth that gives Thai cooking so much character. The Spaghetti Kee Mao was exceptional: aromatic, savory, beautifully seasoned, and full of wok-fired flavor without being overwhelmed by sauce. The popcorn chicken arrived golden and remarkably crisp, yet remained tender and juicy inside.

The biggest surprise was the Crying Tiger beef. It was beautifully grilled, tender, flavorful, and easily comparable to something I would expect from a quality steakhouse. The execution was excellent.

“honestly i was expecting a basic golf course bar with nothing but bud light and old peanuts but it actually has a solid craft beer selection including a couple local ipas i hadnt tried before. grabbed a burger and it was cooked perfectly with fresh toppings even though it took a little longer than i hoped to come out. the view from the patio looks right over the course so it a nice spot to just hang out and the servers were super friendly even when it got busy. my only small thing is the parking lot is kind of a mess especially on weekend afternoons with people dodging golfers. definitely will be back for the beer list alone even if im not playing that day.”

“Five stars all the way for this bistro and cafe in the Pointe building center at the 57 and Lambert. Usually when I go to most cafes or fast-casual places for breakfast or lunch, I end up with a bland sandwich that is too small so I end up buying chips and/or dessert that I don't need or really want. I've never had this problem at On Pointe.

One of On Pointe Bistro's strengths is that the breakfast and lunch items are generously portioned while also being fresh and flavorful. I've had the breakfast waffles with fresh fruit, chilaquiles, open faced caprese sandwich, and a bowl with lentils, kale, carrots, tofu, and other healthy items. The bread in the caprese sandwich is one of the most flavorful breads I've tried in Orange County.

On Pointe Bistro offers a lot of vegetarian options which is nice. I've tried their meat-based breakfast sausage too, and it's also full of flavor, well-cooked, and neither burnt nor greasy. My wife had a cucumber agua fresca that she said was very refreshing. All of their food seems freshly prepared with high-quality ingredients. They do have grab and go items and a salad bar, both of which I want to try.

Parking is easy here. You can park in the garage next to the bistro for free and there is also free parking near the hair salon and Starbucks on Lambert. They are cashless which I think is easiest for most people. The service is also prompt and warm. The bistro has a modest lounge with lots of clean, minimal seating. They are closed on weekends and close in the early afternoon. I think this bistro is a nice alternative for people wanting to try a new cafe in the area.”

“Best AYCE Korean BBQ ever! Im Korean and was already over the bad quality ayce kbbq places but 356 Korean BBQ was the best I've had!!! I recommend getting their LIMITED menu beef which has the wagu short rib, ribeye steak, short rib, wagu sushi, marinated kobe beef, and rib strips. Also the endless banchans and kimchi jjige, soy bean paste soup, steamed egg, and they even have pho. Didn't have the stomach to try the whole menu bc there were so many choices but I would definitely come back here for kbbq nights! “I stopped by before a recent shopping trip. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of menu items available. We ordered a Cobb Salad and Ravioli. Both dishes were received quickly. My salad came dressed with a scrumptious dressing and fresh toppings. The ravioli was delicious! This is a perfect place to have a quick sit down lunch. The restaurant was spacious, with a nice view of the outdoors however, the noise level was a bit high. Our server was attentive and charming. Overall, we had a great experience and can’t wait to return!”

“Came in for lunch on a Wednesday. Pretty chill inside. Plenty of TVs for sports, comfortable seating.

Our waitress was Ari. She was fantastic. Truly brightened up my day. Very cute and bubbly person with a contagious energy to her.

She recommended the steak sandwich, the blackened Ahi sandwich and the Red Ale. All solid choices.

Service was prompt food was good, but I would say one thing I would like to see is more value from the menu - in terms of sides and such. Feels like chips + a sandwich for 16-17 bucks is a bit much. Especially for the portions.

Otherwise, Ari made the visit incredibly pleasant and enjoyable and was prompt and attentive at every turn.”
