“My wife and family had dinner on February 14. The server Caden was excellent. From the moment he approach our table he had a smile and introduce himself and willing to help us out on all our needs. Took our drink order and came back to see if we are ready to place our order. Caden was back after everything was deliver to see if it was correct and brought back more water and refilled our drink orders. Then later checked to see if we needed anything else and again that smile and warmth made our evening feel like we part of the Lazy Dog family and glad we came in for a beautiful meal. Caden made us feel very important and he wanted to make sure we had a great time. Thanks to Caden we will be back again and again.“

(LOCATED ON 3RD FLOOR of Nordstorm's) I have always loved Nordstorm's Marketplace Cafes, but I haven't lived close to one in years, so this was our first and second visit to this location. Now, this is located within Nordstorm, so of course parking at any of Nordstorm's parking lots would be an easy way to reach this restaurant.

Our first visit was on Mother's Day, and while it was a bit busy, I didn't think it was overly crowded. Our youngest is autistic and can be a little too active and loud, so we asked to sit outside so that we could relax and not have to worry about him accidentally interrupting others' Mother's Day meals. There was no one outside, so it was like we had our own private room. The atmosphere was amazing, both inside the cafe and out on the terrace. It is mostly quiet with maybe a medium conversation noise level. Even outside is nice, warm, and quiet. To order, you generally view the menu and pay for the meal before you are seated, so most of the wait is done before you even sit down. This can be a plus for families with energetic kiddos!

The food was delicious! As it always has been... My only complaint is that they no longer offer the Chicken Tomato Alfredo (over 10+ years ago, but I am still upset about it, lol). However, I did find a new pasta dish that I love! Everyone enjoyed it here, and I loved all the healthy options on the kids' menu. Nice full plates with healthy and delicious food options that even my picky eaters loved!

Our second trip was a few days later. We were staying at the nearby Embassy Suites, so I wanted to try to visit at least once more before we left the area. It was the same amazing experience, but this time, it was just the Hubby and me, and we had our meal indoors.

“​I visited California Pizza Kitchen and had 'The Works' (a combination pizza) and Shrimp Piccata.

​'The Works' is topped with spicy Italian sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, green peppers, onions, olives, and mozzarella. It had such a rich and full flavor.

​The Shrimp Piccata is made with linguini fini in a lemon cream sauce with capers. It's a pasta where the sourness of the lemon and the saltiness of the capers balance each other perfectly, and it is honestly one of my favorite pasta dishes.

​If you ever visit California Pizza Kitchen, I highly recommend trying these two.

“Michelin-Level Experience at Outback Prices The Wild Artichoke in Yorba Linda is a hidden gem. I was expecting something entirely different — and was pleasantly surprised in the best possible way. We started with the smashed potatoes and endive salad, which made for perfect appetizers: light enough not to spoil our appetite, yet full of flavor to whet it. The portions were ideal for sharing with my wife. For our main courses, we ordered from the lunch menu. I had the Wagyu burger, and my wife went with the tempura fish and chips. I’m not sure how they did it, but every bite was incredibly well-balanced. The fish had a crispy exterior, just the right touch of Maldon salt, and a beautifully firm, flaky interior. The tartar sauce was exceptional — rich, creamy, and unlike any I’ve had before. The burger was a standout. Each ingredient was distinct and purposeful — no unnecessary fillers. Every component worked in harmony to deliver deep, layered flavors in every bite. We ended the meal with the Basque cheesecake, which was beautifully presented. It wasn’t overly sweet, and the perfectly burnt top paired wonderfully with the sweet berry compote. A special treat was getting to meet the head chef. What a pleasant surprise. He shared the story behind one of his dishes and mentioned that every item on the menu has its own story and purpose. That passion really comes through in the food. I’ve dined at many fine restaurants, and I can confidently say the quality here rivals places charging $150–$200 per plate. The value is extraordinary for the caliber of cuisine offered. This is a truly special hidden gem — perfect for a relaxed lunch with friends or an intimate dinner date. I can’t wait to try the rest of their menu!“

“We came here 2 days back to back and was definitely not disappointed the first day we just wanted to try the place out and ordered the pork belly sliders and a brisket Mac n cheese. Both were amazing but… the next morning we came to get brunch and ordered the chili verde breakfast burrito along with the tri tip breakfast bowl and I must say that had to be the best breakfast burrito I have ever had! “A great place to go retro to the age of train travel. And, its aside the RR tracks from LA to Oceanside and San Diego. Restaurant and bar have outside seating along the tracks but you can sit inside and still see the trains pass by. Some stop as its also a train stop (Orange). Our lunch was great. Served so hot had to let our reuben and hamberger cool a bit. Large menu of breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Full bar.

French fries perfectly crispy, fried chicken and lovely pasta to name a few we tried. Wonderful assortments of ice cream. Chef came out and talked to all the diners, it was a terrific dinner.
