“I have never written a review but I had too because we go almost every week it’s just so good. It’s worth to check out, you won’t be disappointed. Their panag curry is so creamy, and their papaya salad is something I dream about. I’m very picky with my papaya salad too, this is the best one in OC. Overall, best Thai food hands down.
This time, I got their ginger chicken, it was so juicy and flavorful with beautifully julienned sliced ginger. The vegetables aren’t overcooked or underdone just perfect. My friend loved her garlic black pepper shrimp, the underrated part of the dish was the garlic topping on the cabbage with a little sauce-very succulent. My other friend got the cashew nut shrimp and said it hit the spot too. Also, we shared the tom yum which was so soothing from the lemongrass and the lime flavor makes it very bright and tangy. We ended the dinner with a scoop of coconut ice cream which was creamy, dreamy, and had a great crunch from the peanut topping.
Service is top tier and they are very welcoming.
Atmosphere is a vibe. It’s just a local hole in the wall place serving authentic cuisine.“

“Thai food is a hit or miss ,and some better than others. So far Lucky Thai has been better than most, with a few drawbacks when then run out of product. All food is made fresh from my trips here. This establishment is inside the 168 Market and is very simple, small seating to eat there or you can have take out. Service takes a little time for prep in most cases, but worth the wait.“

“Food is really good. There service can sometimes be a bit choatic when its busy with food for a table all coming out at different times. Making it a bit weird at the table waiting almost 15 min for others to get thiers. Drunken noodles are top notch. Curry is delicious. Peanut sauce is the best in town. Everyone seems to be having a good time.“

“This little Thai restaurant is located inside the Good Eats food court with a variety of restaurants near by. This area is so clean and very inviting for people visiting Anaheim. The ice skating rink is also very close and convenient to stop by here after the game to grab something to eat or have a drink.“

“The best authentic Thai food restaurant in town. Lunch specials are worth to try and definitely will keep you coming back.
Our favorites are bamboo chicken and Curry chicken comes with a good portion of chicken, rice and Tom yam chicken soup as well. Highly recommend.“

“Friendly service, nice decoration, clean environment and great food!
We had the angel wings( deep fried boneless chicken wing stuffed with pork, shrimp, and chicken) as appetizer. It’s a good crunch. We also have the tom kha seafood soup, very comforting and full of ingredients and spices. the crying tiger is so juicy. And the crab fried rice can really taste the wok. We also tried the new fried pork with Chinese broccoli. For dessert we have the mango sticky rice, I like how it comes with a heart shape!
For drinks we have Thai milk tea, pink milk and fresh coconut. Overall, an authentic Thai restaurant that you should give a try!“

“★★★★★ Lucky’s Thai Pantry — Absolutely Delicious!
Lucky’s Thai Pantry is hands-down one of the best Thai spots around! Every dish is packed with authentic flavor, fresh ingredients, and that perfect balance of spice and sweetness. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, and you can tell they really care about their food and their customers.
The portions are generous, the presentation is beautiful, and everything tastes homemade with love. Whether it’s the pad Thai, curries, or appetizers — you honestly can’t go wrong.
Highly recommend this place for anyone who loves great Thai food and genuine hospitality. It’s a true hidden gem!“

“My service organization regularly came to Silver Spoons' predecessor, so when we found out that Silver Spoons was open, we made the restaurant our next meeting location so we can try it out!
I usually order my go-to to test out a Thai restaurant, so I ordered the pork pad see ew ($14.95) and mild golden curry with chicken ($14.95). I would've ordered a fried rice, but the mild papaya salad ($13.95) caught my attention instead. Note that the dishes come with your choice of chicken, pork, or tofu included in the price, but if you want beef, it'll be an extra dollar, and for shrimp, an extra $2. What was surprising was that the curry doesn't come with white rice. You'd have to fork out an extra $2.50 for that. I thought everything tasted great, though both the papaya salad and pad see ew was a little heavy on the sauce.
My friend ordered mango sticky rice ($12.99) for dessert and I was surprised and happy they had that available (I went to another Thai restaurant during Christmas time and while they had the mango sticky rice on the menu, they said it was not in season so they weren't selling any). I took a few bites of it and enjoyed it -- not too sweet and not too heavy! Don't forget to check-in on Yelp for a free Thai tea.
Service was pretty good! There's plenty of space inside for small and large groups. Plentiful parking too in the parking lot.“

Walked in with my husband in mid-Dec, we both are Green / Red chicken curry lovers, price is right, enjoyable food, strongly recommend. Then, got lunch special take out today, it was fast prepared. Brought it home, food temperature and taste remained Hot/Delicious as we expected. Definitely would visit or take out again.“

“Today I went to rodeo 39 in Garden Grove with some friends and I stumbled across Kra Z Kai's. It was my second time trying Laos barbecue. This place is a hidden gem for sure. Everything was the delicious. The ribs were marinated for 24 hours. The barbecue pork and the chicken were all marinated in the same sauce. The owner told me the service was fast and this whole ambience was nice some of the best food I've had in a long time next time I'm going to Garden Grove. I will come here again.“

“Thai food in this neighborhood have all fallen for some reason, and I thank this place for opening to pick up where they lack. I think it's great they came into a location that has very mediocre Thai restaurants around with decent ambiance but low quality food. Instead of focusing on a dine in experience, this place is all about delicious Thai take out.
The drunken pad noodles and spaghetti are great and Thai level spicy.
The pineapple fried rice is also delicious.
This is my new go to Thai spot.“

“I have been craving to try boat noodle soup ($15.95) since I've seen it online. It is a blood-based soup so it's a dark brown but the taste is not noticeable. It comes with thin noodles, sliced beef, pork meatballs, green onions, pork rinds, Thai basil, and cilantro. They do have a Thai level of spicy and they do warn that they do not to re-makes of dishes.
I also got their pork jerky which came with a side of spicy fish sauce dip.
The staff is nice and the place is clean.“

“The Bottom Line Up Front:
Siam Station is a relatively new restaurant in Yorba Linda that serves up delicious Thai street food. It's not flawless, but it is now on my go-to list.
The Food:
I ordered the Khao Soi while my wife got the Papaya Salad; we shared the E-San Sausage.
The Khao Soi is an egg noodle served in a creamy yellow curry broth with chicken, red onions, lime, and pickles. It's fast become my favorite Thai food and I often order it as a litmus test whenever I go to a restaurant that's new to me. Fortunately, Siam Station passed the test — the Khao Soi hit the spot! It was satisfying in every way with one exception: it came with literally just a pinch of red onions and pickles in a tiny sauce plate, basically treated like a light garnish. At other places, I normally get a small plate filled with these veggies.
I'm not a big fan of papaya, but the Papaya Salad was solid. Most importantly, my wife approved. And we both loved the E-San Sausage, which is fermented ground pork, rice, garlic, and spices. It was served with a generous portion of cabbage, peanuts, and a couple of slices of ginger.
The Service:
Our server wasn't too friendly but he was polite, knowledgeable, and most importantly efficient. Unfortunately, he was short handed and had just one busboy helping him serve the entire restaurant — which meant we had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated even though there was a table open. It also meant that he didn't return too often after we got our meals and we had to flag him down to get help a few times. This is not a knock on our server. After all, it was busy for a Sunday evening. This is really a staffing issue; had management hired just one more server, the customer experience would have been perfect.
The Location:
It's a smallish medium-sized restaurant so expect a wait if you come during peak hours. It's clean with nice decor and a pleasant atmosphere.
The Parking Situation:
Apparently Siam Station has several locations, but this particular spot is in Downtown Yorba Linda in a shopping complex beside Club Pilates and Apola Greek Grill and across from the Regal movie theater. There's not a lot of street parking and sometimes the open parking lots get filled quickly, but use the nearby parking structure for free and convenient parking.
The Conclusion:
Siam Station is a welcomed addition to the revitalized Downtown Yorba Linda, infusing an authentic Asian touch with delicious food at manageable prices in this down economy. My true rating is 4.5 out of 5, but since I can't give half stars I'm happy to round up. It's not perfect, but we will be back to try more dishes!“

“I ordered the Chicken pad thai (Medium Spice) not thai level spice so if I do come back, definitely getting spicy with extra spice on the side. The space inside makes you feel like you're transported back to Thailand (there was a cab in the front of the menu screen) and limited seating, a couple of tables outside. Overall rating, 4.6 stars for me, I know google doesn't give me the options for the point six. The pad thai was really good, not too mushy, chicken not over done and love that they added the Vietnamese chives ( hẹ) and bean sprouts along with peanuts, gives an extra crunch in every bite. (Menu are as of June 7, 2024)“

“The food is good. You have to try the green crème brûlée. It is fire fire. If you want a laugh, ask Steve what’s good on the menu? He hates it. Be prepared for his response. He loves jokes bet you can’t make him laugh. Julie is super nice. Loves to see you and wants you to be in a good mood when you get here and a great mood when you leave . She works super hard to make sure the most excellent dining experience possible. Steve and Julie make sure your kid is having a great experience so that you can relax a bit more than most places. The food is great. It’s fresh. You won’t be disappointed, but remember this is not Chinese fast food. Your orange chicken is not typical. This is Thai food so don’t compare it to Chinese food your broccoli beef is not slivers your orange chicken. Don’t look like slimy meteorites your fried rice is made differently. The noodle plates are not Chinese fried noodles when you order something in a different language that you don’t speak and you never have had it before. taste the food like you’ve never had it before not comparing it to something else. You are experiencing genuine Thai food when Julie is getting down in the kitchen the food is 10 out of 10 her cooking her food is amazing. If you ask for spicy, don’t go hard You will burn your face off I recommend start with a 2 or be ready. I can tell you for sure you will not finish your plate at five spicy but if you wanna have fun, you and your friends can make bets about it When you order your food, not all items come with rice so be sure to ask or order rice don’t expect rice with everything if you want a lot of rice, be sure to say so. Last if Tonya is running the show you have to get her attention because she tries not to disturb you.
Me and my kid have had all kinds of things on the menu. I like the coconut soup with chicken I like the yellow curry chicken and vegetables with number two spicy. Black pepper broccoli beef make sure to order rice. The pad’cs, the fried ricesys, the curlly’s the noodoo’s all of it is good to really really good. Some of the food I ordered i’ve never had it and it definitely wasn’t for me. The food is consistent and always tastes as you remember. It’s a hidden bar in Whittier nobody really knows but the place has a bar. I’ve drank there with a few buddies a few times. Throwback a few pichers bs watch a game chill out after work for a bit ask the bartender stupid questions to get an answer you’ve never heard before ask him about his mariachi band! 😂💀“

“I want to mention firstly, this place has the nicest people as staff members. The lady knew I was Japanese and spoke Japanese to me. She made sure my to go drinks were not melted so made it the moment I arrived.
It's such a breath of fresh air to feel so naturally welcomed, with the Thai hospitality.
I ordered Panang Curry with soft tofu, Pad see Ew, and Tom Kah soup
Everything is exactly how you'd want when you're craving Thai food. Very savory and spicy if you want to sweat!
Spice level available from 1-10. My partnet has a psychotic tolerance so level8 didn't phase him 😅but it's still a delicious place to stop by.
It's an intimate setting so I'd recommend no more than a group of 4.“

“My husband and I came here for the first time for a little date night and it was absolutely amazing!!! The ramen was incredibly delicious and honestly some of the best we’ve had. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. 🍜😍
What really made the experience unforgettable though was the service. Our waitress was beyond kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. It was probably the best service I’ve ever received at a restaurant. She made us feel so comfortable and taken care of the entire time.
I can definitely see why this place has nearly five stars. The food, the service, and the overall atmosphere made it such a lovely night for us. We will absolutely be coming back. Highly recommend!“

They provided sauces and utensils which was appreciated. A salad was included with the lunch special. It was fresh with a great dressing. The Spicy Basil Leaves lunch was so yummy. I have to say the soup was the star of the show. If you visit this restaurant do not leave without trying the Tom Kha Soup.“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Sweety Hut Thai Restaurant – West Covina, CA
We had a wonderful meal at Sweety Hut Thai! From the moment we arrived, the service was kind and attentive, and the ambiance felt inviting and cozy. The menu is extensive, offering everything from flavorful curries to fresh salads and delicious appetizers.
We started with Chicken Satay and Fried Wontons—both were tasty, well-seasoned, and a great way to whet the appetite. The chicken satay came with a rich peanut sauce, and the fried wontons had just the right amount of crisp.
For entrees, we went with a curry and also tried the Pad Thai Noodles. The curry was creamy, fragrant, and full of fresh ingredients; the Pad Thai was balanced in sweetness, spice, and texture, with plenty of fresh vegetables and noodles cooked just right.
Dessert was a sweet finish—something like Mango sticky rice, which was perfect. Light, not overly heavy, and the mango was ripe and juicy.
Overall, Sweety Hut Thai delivered on authenticity and flavor. If you’re craving Thai in the West Covina / San Gabriel Valley area, this place is a gem. Fresh ingredients, strong flavors, great service, and a menu with lots of variety. Highly recommend!“

“Honestly 4 stars just because they’re hard working people trying to make a living. However I’m disappointed in the food quality and portion size I been coming here for years and the consistency isn’t there. I ordered 3 pineapple fried rice with beef and honestly the rice has no sauce very bland and the beef you have to dig to find a piece. In the whole plate it was 19.99 and there was 4 pieces of beef like come on. I’m paying 20 for just rice no sides no vegetables and barely any protein. My bill was 70$ and ended up cooking steak at home to add on top of the rice. And that’s not considering the quality of the beef they use it’s very chewy and low grade.“

“After watching a movie with BTS J-hope nearby, our group grabbed a quick lunch at nearby Thai 7 Bistro at 1:30 pm. It was pouring outside, so we appreciated the indoor dining space and that our group of five was able to fit (thanks to the other customers who swapped tables so Thai 7 Bistro could put two tables together for us).
Since it was raining, a warm soupy dish sounded good. The kao soi ($21.95) caught most of our eyes so three of us each ordered that. I got mines with beef brisket. Crispy chicken wings were an option, but I didn't want to deal with the bones and with the wings potentially getting soggy in the soup. I usually get pad see ew or a curry or crab fried rice, so I never had kao soi before. And now that I had it, it will be part of my standard Thai food order now! I love that there were noodles in this dish plus topped with crispy noodles. The soup was almost as thick as curry. Beef brisket wasn't too fatty either. It all just went well together! I also ordered a Thai iced tea ($4.50) and that was delicious, a good balance of sweet with my very savory meal.
It did take a while for us to get the check since the restaurant got busy, but we appreciated being able to pay separately for our own order rather than try to split the bill five ways with different orders.
We had all parked at the parking structure by the theater, so it was a quick walk back. There are some street parking spots up front, but we preferred the covered parking structure given the rain.“
